We don’t have a doorbell and nobody ever would ring it if we did but I can tell you that going to the bathroom does make the phone ring
It sure does. If you’re doing something difficult the doorbell will ring. 🙂
Mom feels that way about work every day and pretty much always had. Going to work has never been something she really enjoys doing. She works to live and doesn’t live to work. Being self employed helps some, but it is still a drag.
I had a great job, but it was a means to and end. I worked hard, but it wasn’t the end all for me either. 🙂
I agree with Tom Goins. In my case the phone will ring if I were to go to the bathroom or the toilet especially when I am alone in the house.
Yes that’s so very true and almost every time. Bugger. 🙂

Happy Tuesday and I enjoyed today’s installment of Periwinkle and Stinky. 🙂
Here here on the door bell and telephone (landline we are old school). I am thankful to say my landline has a ‘quiet mode’. We can set it for 1-12 hours of quiet. Still takes messages but the robo calls and spammers can’t get thru.
I have a cell rarely turn it on unless we are out and about.

It is amazing to me that my retirement came in 2000. The happiest times then and every day now.
For me it was 2003. It was a happy last day. 🙂
The pet rocks are counting down to my retirement days. But they’re doing it geologically…I’m not 😉

Omgosh. That bathroom one. For me it’s the phone! It’s usually my kids and they always want to know why I don’t keep my phone with me at all times! Even my grandkids are asking. I’ve explained a million times that I am not glued to my phone. They’re still befuddled by this. Lol.
