I can so relate to the one about awkward moments. I had a lot of those before I got my hearing aids. I used to just give up, nod and smile. I used to get some pretty strange looks. If they looked confused I knew that my nod was an inapropriate response..lol
I’m heading in that direction. Sometimes only hear bits and pieces of what folks are saying. Hate it. 🙂
Not understanding what someone is saying is sooo awkward! Used to happen to me a lot when I lived in Germany. I had computer systems hang up on me because they didn’t get my accent. It is frustrating. Happy Tuesday.

Stop in the Name of Love is my favorite! I’m always singing that song and always saying that. About the Facebook account I hate Facebook with a passion and I stay off of it except twice a day I go through and look for cuz I have dear friends and family and they post things on there that they don’t tell us like my friend Kathy Poe said that she was in a wreck and it was 3 days before I knew that she had been in a horrible wreck. I think FB was meant to be personal things and now it’s become political and people fighting and carrying on and it I just like I said I despise it
I use Facebook the same way. It’s the only way I can talk to some folks. Yes it used to be a nicer place. 🙂

Now I know why it takes me so long to wake up in the mornings. Who knew all of that was going on? shrug shoulders I try to not get sucked in the FB drama. It gets really ridiculous at times. I won’t allow myself to get pulled into anything that can drain my happiness. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion even if it’s wrong. lol Thanks for the giggles today, my friend. Keep smiling!

Top right speaks to me….loudly…I have a wee bit of hearing loss…well maybe more than a wee bit…ENT will check again in September. BUT I can still talk non stop, have good vision and can eat and smell so I can stop and smell the roses.

I don’t know how you do it besides you being your wonderful self! I never get lots of people to comment on my blog much less join in on whatever I post. I’ve been doing this for about ten years. and now it’s just something to do to pass the time away. I’ve been in a lot of pain the last few days so if I haven’t been around I’m sorry. My back and leg is driving me nuts, but the Lord has given me a reprieve. I’m getting my pain shot August 14th… PRAISE JESUS! I CANNOT WAIT! Hopefully I’ll be rid of this pain for a while… until my next shot which will be in three or four months hopefully. Anyway, even sitting is starting to hurt. So I will say goodnight for now my friend. Love you… God speed… Rest well. HUGS

My dear Sista from anotha Mutha.. I need to talk because my pain level hit the roof once again and I find if I start surfin’ the web & get my mind on something else I can work with it…. It’s suppertime & we are barbecuing dogs/burgers & I’m making my infamous Italian Salad today! It’s definitely yummy & I use wine vinegar & fresh garlic… mmmmm…. Plus we just came back from a lil’ walk in the park! I used my walker for that one! The kind you can sit down on when you get tired or hurtin’! HEY BY THE WAY DID I TELL YOU… WOO HOO… TIME TO CELEBRATE… hmmm maybe I’ll have a sip of wine with my supper… besides it’s good for ya… just a lil’ now I said… I have a date with my doc for my shot!!! Man, I sure wish I had some of my grandpa’s wine! The house use to smell like old dirty socks once a year & yes, he’d jump into his half barrel & dance around on the grapes. hahaha, but man was that wine good! I surely miss my PaPa! I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET MY DOCTOR TO SAY THE LEAST!.. We’ve been doing telephone visits, but my shot date is NOW the “14” & I can HARDLY WAIT!! WOO HOO! The pain has been unbearable lately… to one day I go from room to room and sit and cry half the day because of the dam pain. Plus pain killers the most I ever took in one day was Monday I believe and that was “4” Norcos (hydrocod/actam… 15/350MG… I believe is what they are. So yes, COME ON “14” CAN’T WAIT.. I cry every morning when I get up until the pain goes away, and when I get up really early to go to the bathroom I come back to bed & hubby here’s me whimpering,,, it’s back to back time. Hubby sleeps “HOT”… I MEAN EXTRAORDINARILY “HOT & I love it and we sleep back to back and he takes my pain away… DEAR JESUS, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR SAVING THIS MAN FOR ME!!! hahahaha never married before & he waited for me to arrive!!! hahahahaha NOW SIS, IF YOU’D LIKE TO DELETE THIS OR CUT IT IN HALF FEEL FREE, BUT I WANTED TO SHARE ALL MY GOOD NEWS WITH YOU & ONE OTHER GIRLFRIEND… Cathy, but it’s not quite the same as yours. Cathy is a wonderful girl don’t you think. She’s the one that draws! Sometimes she helps me out with my Monday’s Music Moves Me… she kept it goin’ while I was in the hospital and another time when I had pneumonia. She’s a great friend & so sweet! Anyway the 14th is my shot and I’m going to feel soooooooooooooooo good, and next time I’m gonna save my pennies so I can get my next shot cuz even co-pay is a doozie!!! OUCH… Hubby said as long as the shots are back he’s thinking on going back to work. and I’m going to get it all in now before the end of December then Co-Pay kicks back in. Yep Humana has given us all a break and no co-pay for people with HUMANA! WOO HOO! AIN’T IT GRAND??? oKAY ENOUGH… LOVE YOU GIRL AND HAVE A GREAT NIGHT AND WEEKEND. I’M STILL HANGIN’ AROUND IF YA WANNA CHIT CHAT! BIG HUGS… SORRY TO BORE YOU… OH MY GOSH… ANOTHER ONE… I was called to supper because we barbecued and I didn’t want to miss it (and man was it good), and I just got back and I forgot to “Post Comment”!!! Soooooooooooooooooo SORRY! I did it to another friend too! OMG… I’m such a ditz!!!! hahahaha Love you girl have a good night! What a jerk I am!!!! I am sooooooooooooooo very sorry!
