Oh yes, the ironies of auto-correct!
But there’s really nothing worse than a biscuit breaking off in your tea. The world can be a cruel place sometimes 😂
Happy Tuesday, Sandee – I hope it’s a good week for you & hubby! xx
Yes the world can be a cruel place. Happy Tuesday, Caz. We are having a great week. You do the same. 🙂
Hey Girlfriend, How’s tricks? What a day, what a day! Relatives calling left and right and I can’t get nothing done. My cousin is getting better & he wants to come home. He was in the hospital 3 wks., but thank you for your prayers. I truly appreciate it. My grandson & his girlfriend is visiting Missy (my youngest daughter/nurse) in Missouri. Plus did I tell you Missy got engaged? Yep, and they’re getting his house ready to sell & then they’ll work on hers & then they’re gonna buy a house together. Busy, Busy! Oh well, time to move on. Talk at ya later. You haha’s are to haha especially the cookie one! hahaha I HATE THAT! HAVE A GREAT DAY! LUV YA!!!!!!
Looks like things are going well in your family right now. Now if we could just get your leg fixed. That would be wonderful. You have a great day too, honey. Love you bunches. 🙂
Oh my!!! From your lips to God’s ears!!! My leg has been getting worse for some reason, but I shall tell you I’m calling my Pain Control Doctor’s office tomorrow & I’m scheduling a appointment for my shot. I know I said I wasn’t going to have one because they want to shove that stick down my nose & out my butt… for the Covid test, but I cannot take it anymore. My neck, leg and back (neck is something new, but it’s not bad, but it’s there). Gonna get the shot for sure… have too! Bummer! Pray I find some ass about myself to go through with it. Ya know what I mean? HUGS BABY GIRL THANK YOU ALWAYS FOR BEING THERE FOR ME. HUGS!!! LOVE U SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! HUGS! See that picture to the right of me… The bigger child with the gorgeous smile Man, she sure looks like my Tricia (the oldest of my brood)!!! Love it… cutie pie babies!!!!
I’m glad you’re going to get a shot. If it helps some that’s better than no help at all. I wish I had a magic wand that I could wave and you’d be pain free. Love you sweetie. 🙂
I can relate to all these moments since I’ve had each of them at least once in my life. The auto correct one drives me crazy.
Me too, Ann, me too. 🙂
MOL…we don’t use auto correct, it’s very annoying where he conversation is going🙊🙈🤭Pawkisses for wonderful happy Tuesday, dear Sandee🐾😽💞
I’m still using it, but sometimes it drives me bonkers. Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday, Little Binky. 🙂
I always peek out between the blinds to see who’s standing on the front porch is somebody knocks the door and if I don’t know them that I don’t open the door. I have just this moment had a battle with autocorrect while texting somebody even when you spell the word it will change it to what they think you’re trying to say
I hear you about auto-correct. Often it has no idea what I’m trying to say. 🙂
I can so relate to the doorbell and peeking and pretending I”m not home. It happens here all the time if a visit is not expected.
Most of the time we don’t even peek. We have Simply Safe so we can see who’s at the door. 🙂
I frequently leave my computer’s auto-correct in a “WTF?” state…
That’s payback right there, Mike. Excellent. 🙂
Auto correct can be a nightmare, especially if you don’t check and send with whatever it corrected! Hiding from the doorbell is also a challenging thing. Happy Tuesday.
I’ve been known not to check. What a mess. We can hide very well. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
Oh meow is me Ms. Sandee we turned our auto-correct off – that feature is demented!
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.
Purrseidon
It is demented, but sometimes it gets it right. 🙂
Autocorrect is a real mess, we turned it off too!
Hubby did too, but mine is still on. 🙂
Even with the front door wide open, I’ll ignore people who knock!
We do too. I don’t want any visitors right now. 🙂
Those are funny. One good thing about the pandemic is no one comes to the door. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day! XO
I like that too. I’ve noticed that. I would open it if someone did come to the door. 🙂
The two giggles on the right have my name written all over them. I have a huge love-hate relationship with autocorrect. Thanks, as always, for linking us up. Sending lots of hugs for your support, Janet
Me too, but I keep auto correct because it does come in very handy at times. More healing hugs. 🙂
Auto correct tickled my funny bone. My daughter keeps her grocery list on her phone…
a year or so ago she was shopping when she looked at her list, she saw this:
‘one little Ethiopian’. Of course she had no idea what she had tried to type. And hoped that whatever it was it was not the key ingredient to a meal. When she told me I cracked up then she said and I’m pretty sure I have never in my life typed the Ethiopian, then I rolled on the floor
Hugs Cecilia
Now that’s funny. I’m guessing she guessed what she needed at some point. Hubby turned off auto-correct. Ran him crazy. 🙂
hahaha so true for these! And just yesterday my cookie broke off in my coffee! Hate when that happens.
Happy Tuesday! <3
Not much left when you drink all the coffee is there. Oh well. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
My peeps have never had to wonder about why bad things happen to good people.
I don’t wonder either, but I thought it was funny. 🙂
I feel that autocorrect one on a deep and personal level lol
Me too, I can’t tell you how many auto-correct things were so very wrong and I hit send before I noticed. 🙂
Love the autocorrect one especially since we have quite the complicated relationship. Can you say…willful? 😊
I have the same relationship with auto-correct. Bossy it is. 🙂
Aggressively so, most days!
Sometimes I think autocorrect has its own language and it’s not the same as mine! The cookie one is hilarious! Happy Tuesday!
I think you’re right about that. Happy Tuesday, Eugenia. 🙂
I can identify with #1 and #4. I smiled when I read #1 & #4, that’s me! Enjoy your day and stay safe.
Yep those are so me too. Enjoy your day and stay safe too, Nancy. 🙂
I don’t worry about my cookies breaking in my milk because that means to go and get a few more cookies and so on and so on. I love eating cookies. Have a great day Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
That’s a good way to look at that problem. You have a great day too, Paul. 🙂
BOL…I have had more than one word spelled so wrong that even Google can’t find it!!
Thanks for the Tuesday giggles!
I hear you. I have that skill too. You’re most welcome for the giggles. 🙂
I was up at three A.M. reading your post trying not to laugh out loud Those memes all fit me to a T. So fun. I am always happy when I stop by. Thank you for the friendship and the laughter too. HUGS xo
They fit me to a T too. Hugs back. 🙂
When someone rings the doorbell, I don’t even get out of my chair to look who is there! They ain’t comin’ in! Takes twice as long writing with auto correct changing everything generally when you are not looking or noticing, and off goes a bunch of unintelligible sentences making me look like an idiot! Personally, I don’t use the word “Happy” on anything anymore/
You’re right about the door. We ignore it too. If I don’t know you’re coming then stay away. 🙂
Oh, those crazy moments to remember… 🙂 Have a great week making memories, Sandee! xo
You have a great week making memories too. We sure enjoy it here. 🙂
Oh yeah I just “love” when auto-correct thinks it’s smarter than me! hah! xoxoxo
We know it’s not smarter than you too. 🙂
This is why i turn off auto-correct. Spellcheck is fine, but i loathe auto-correct. Have a great Tuesday!
I need to turn it off. Okay, I’ll do that. 🙂
Oh, yes. That auto correct can be so annoying and can get one in trouble sometimes too
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I’ve not gotten into trouble yet, but I can see how that could happen. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
I peak out the window to see who is at my door – unannounced!
We have Simply Safe so we can peek at the camera to see who’s at the door. 🙂
Super cool memes. Thanks for sharing them with us.
You’re most welcome, Patrick. Thanks for playing along. 🙂
Sandee,
Auto correct kept screwing things up so I disabled it on my phone. Some of the goofs are hilarious, even embarrassing at times. I haven’t dipped cookies in milk in like forever, now I want some Oreo’s and milk. 😀 Thanks for the giggles, my dear!
Yes some are funny but not so much if you’ve already sent the text. Yikes. You’re welcome for the giggles. 🙂
I’ve never liked dipping cookies in milk…I don’t want anything chunky ending up in my milk. LOL.
Is it bad to admit I’ve done that first one? I let Luke “greet” people through the window with his bark, while I peek out the other one to see who it is. 🙂
Me either, but I have some family members that do. I remember Little Bit barking up a storm if anyone rang the bell. She had a loud bark too. 🙂
there are moments when I hope autocorrect kicks in, and then…there are others!! What a pain sometimes.
Me too and I think that’s why I still use it. It is a pain sometimes. 🙂
Ugh. I have had some classic autocorrect texts. When they used to have predictive words (in the old days), did you know that Anna could autocorrect to bomb?
No I didn’t know that. How interesting. Have a great day, Rhonda. 🙂
