On August 31, we dropped off our boat to the guy that will be doing her face lift. He hadn’t been on the boat before but he is well aware of the layout of a 340 Sea Ray Sundancer.
He looked around and added some other things he wanted to do to make her pop as he called it. I can’t wait to see what she looks like when he’s done with this first phase. We discussed some other things that needs doing and he’ll guide us as to what he would do first and why. I will say he agreed about the carpets. Terrible and then some and you can’t keep them clean. Apparently with the new flooring you can spill red wine on it and it will wipe right up. Now there’s a concept.
The fall season of shows are going to hit the screen this month and the first part of October and I’m looking forward to Black List, Criminal Minds and Longmire. I’m especially excited to see Longmire back. It ended with a cliffhanger then A&E cancelled the show. Netflix picked it up and it will pick up where it left off. Awesomeness.
We are having a blogging buddy visit in October from Australia. He’ll be here for an entire weekend and we’ll be able to take him boating and hopefully visit some other boating friends. It’s the end of the bay cruise so it’s a bit more problematic, but we’ll supply a fun weekend.
As you know we’re home this weekend, because we can’t be on our boat. The scheduled pick up date for the boat is September 10th. Did I tell you I can’t wait? I thought so.

Today Al is playing – I mean working – on his latest project, his new-to-him RV. He has his little friend Charlie coming over to play with him, too. While Al & Charlie are getting all greasy and happy Joann and I will be lunching out somewhere lovely. And we will not be getting greasy. d-) y-)

Yes the summer is filled with reruns and that's why we have Netflix. We can watch shows that we've not seen before. We are currently watching Gray's Anatomy. 🙂
