  1. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

It always amazes me to see photos of cats swimming like that. He looks very focused on it. Eric loved water and would go out of his way to paddle in it and even join us in the bath (laying on top of whoever was in it dangling his paws and tail in the water.) I don’t think he would have gone as far as to swim though!

    • Sandee says:

Thanks, Caz. I try to look for all the good and not the bad. It’s more healthy. Happy Friday to you too. 🙂

  2. Madison says:

Wowzers! A swimming cat! We are all about positivity, fun, and laughs. The world has turned into a negative place. Everyone searches for the bad, the mistake, but no one celebrates the good or looks for the good in a bad situation. It is a sad thing. Social media and the news media seem to be the driving force for negativity.

    • Sandee says:

Yes on social media and the news. I don’t think we have news anymore. It seems to be feelings and opinions. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I loved the reflection too. Double your pleasure, double your fum. You have a great day and weekend, Marg. 🙂

  3. Jeanne Foguth says:

Purrseidon would love to meet that cat & have a swimming buddy – at least someone other than the splashy kids.

  4. Ellen Pilch says:

That is a beautiful kitty And how cool it is swimming.Thank you for participating in the fill-ins I always enjoy your answers. I knew your hubby would be included in your perfect day 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend! XO

    • Sandee says:

I would love to see a kitty swim. Most unusual. Thanks for co-hosting Friendly Fill-ins. I so enjoy doing them when we aren’t on a cruise. Happy weekend. 🙂

  5. lapaylor says:

Dear Miss Sandee… I love you! Thanks for wishing me a happy b-day. I’d bring you one of my treats but I ate them. I’d share my toys with you if you came over, they are kind of ragged but still… I’m big now, and Mama said I get a new toy tonight with my chew bone… thank you for always scritching me… Milo the Big Boy Poodle

    • Sandee says:

I love you too, Milo. I’d love to play with all your toys with you. You are a big boy poodle that’s most handsome. 🙂

  6. Kitties Blue says:

Mom is a dumb and forgot about Feline Friday, but she has now added your badge and a link back here on our post as well as added us to the hop. That is such a cute photo of the “rare” swimming cat. Your fill-ins get an A+. Our mom doesn’t believe in being negative either; though, sometimes it is super hard not to be. Have a super duper weekend. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and hugs from our mom

    • Sandee says:

Not a problem. There are other things you’re dealing with. You do what you need to do and prayers for Sawyer. 🙂

  7. Pam says:

  8. Cube says:

Although swimming cats aren’t a common sight, they are adept swimmers and prefer the term “cat paddle” when forced to do so 😉

  9. Eastside Cats says:

Thanks for the link! I’m thinking that The PO’M would swim, if given the chance. I too enjoy hanging with The Hubby, but it’s nice to have some alone time too, which I get plenty of during my commute…hahahaha!

    • Sandee says:

We all enjoy our alone time. Hubby and I have that each day, but then we come together in the afternoon and read together, have dinner together then was a bit of television. It’s a wonderful life. 🙂

  10. violaetcetera says:

Your picture reminds me of two cats I looked after for a few weeks while their human was in hospital, they were semi-feral and enjoyed taking a bath under the water tap 🙂

You are so right about negativity, clinging to it doesn’t help at all, but sometimes it’s hard to shake.

    • Sandee says:

Yes, and it seems to be doing just fine too. You would have some similar answers, Kathe. We are much alike. You have a lovely weekend. 🙂

  11. Deziz World says:

We luv your answers. And are a bit jealous that you have such a pwsum huband. Altho’ we are happy fur you. Have a Blest weekend. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    • Sandee says:

I do have a wonderful like with my husband. We found each other long ago and it’s been the best ever. Love you all back. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I love visiting you too, Anne. You have a great weekend and thanks for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop. Big hugs. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I’ve heard of cats that love the water, I’ve just never met one. Yes being negative isn’t a good way to roll. Happy weekend. 🙂

  12. Jim says:

That cat doesn’t have a look of enjoyment, Sandee. She has a determined look showing that she thinks she can get out of her predicament. She is a cute cat in trouble.

    My four:
    this weeks questions:
    1. My favorite kind of music is classic rock from the 60’s and 70’s.
    2. I don’t believe all the crooks on TV are really guilty.
    3. My ideal day hasn’t come yet and probably won’t. If it does I won’t recognize it.
    4. Don’t let me stop you from stopping me.

    • Sandee says:

I’m not getting that this cat is unhappy about being in the water. Determined yes, but not unhappy.

Thanks for doing all the fill=ins. They are fun. Have a great weekend, Jim. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I’ve seen kitties like liked to play in water too, but never a swimmer. You’re welcome for the hosting. 🙂

  13. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

Thanks for dropping by to vote in my latest BoTB! It always tickles me to see a cat in water. I sorta imagine them pretending to be a Bangle Tiger. 🙂 I loved your responses to the Friendly Fill-ins. Had I played along then my answers would’ve no doubt been similar to yours. Have a great week!

    • Sandee says:

I thought this was very unusual. I’ve heard of a few cants that would swim, but I’ve never seen one. See why we connected so well? We think alike. 🙂

  14. L.M.G. Miller says:

What an amazing image. That kitty looks so content to be swimming. None of my kitties like water, but my parents have some cats who love it. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You are so right about not letting negativity affect you. There sure are some negative people in the world, and it’s always best to avoid letting them rub off on you. Have a wonderful day!

    • Sandee says:

I refuse to let the negative people suck the air out of my room. Not going to happen. Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. Tons of fun. 🙂
