We are home and is warm and quiet. No one is fighting over some product or gift that we don’t even need. It’s wonderful. 🙂

  1. Ann Thompson says:

I am with you on every single one of these. I could have written those answers myself. I normally work on black Friday but even if I didn’t I have no desire to be out there fighting crowds.

  2. 15andmeowing says:

Such cute kittens. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am leaving to go shopping in a few miniutes and seriously thinking your way to spend the day is better- it is 7 degrees here- brrr! Have a great weekend! XO

    • Comedy Plus says:

I love doing the Friendly Fill-ins. We are done with Christmas shopping. Only buy for our great granddaughter. Makes life easy. 🙂

    • Comedy Plus says:

We were at the mall last Sunday and that was bad enough. Today would have been even worse. You enjoy your weekend too and I’m glad you’re my cyber friend too. 🙂

    • Comedy Plus says:

They were pretty easy today. Didn’t have to give them much thought. You have a great day too, Marg. Scritches to all the babies. 🙂

  3. Cecilia Upchurch says:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that photo is cuteness on steroids.
No Black Friday shopping here…nothing I need or want to send me into the hoards of craziness on a very very cold morning.
    Hugs Cecilia

    • Comedy Plus says:

It’s been raining here and we’re ever so happy about that. Hopefully it will put out all the fires. I’m glad you like my kitties today, Cecilia. Hugs back. 🙂

  4. DrillerAA says:

Kittens are sooo much fun to watch playing together.
I agree with every answer you have posted here. I did a little Black Friday shopping online, but I don’t intend to venture out into the weirdness today. We will be putting up the tree and decorating the house for Christmas this week-end. And yes, the 2018 Christmas Music Marathon has launched this morning…always the day after Thanksgiving. Have a blessed week-end.

    • Comedy Plus says:

I’ll be over every day to see what you post. I’ve been following your Christmas Music Marathon for many years. You have a blessed weekend too and enjoy decorating for Christmas. 🙂

  5. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

That is such a cute photo. I agree with all of your fill ins, except we don’t have Thanksgiving Day here. I don’t do anything Christmassy before December 1st though.

    • Comedy Plus says:

I’m enjoying my day right at home. We’ve had a nice, quiet day. I’ve saved a lot of money too. That’s even better. 🙂

  6. Rose A (@mail4rosey) says:

That cute little kitty looks like it’s looking for play time. 🙂
1 – Black Friday holds no appeal for me.
2 – A pet peeve of mine at this time of year is people leaving Thanksgiving family time to get to Black Friday on Thursday.
3 – ‘Tis the season for holiday cheer.
4 – I never jumped on the ‘let’s not use cursive anymore’ bandwagon.

    • Comedy Plus says:

I love all your answers. I can’t imagine leaving Thanksgiving celebration to go shop. Good grief. Have a fabulous weekend. 🙂

  7. violaetcetera says:

Playing kittens are always so cute.
Believe it or not, Black Friday has found it’s way to Germany as well, and you could believe there is no other day for shopping.
Let’s just have a wonderful Feline Friday instead.

  8. ghostmmnc says:

Aww…look at the little kitty fuzz face! So cute! 🙂

I’m with you on the Black Friday shopping frenzy. Not for me, either! And, no to early playing of Christmas music!
    Happy Friday, Sandee! <3

    • ghostmmnc says:

I also have a question that maybe you or any of your readers that know about cats might have an answer for…
is there any really good way to get tough mats out of a long haired cat’s fur? I brush Cricket every day with 3 different brushes, a comb, and a dematting comb, too, and nothing works. I’ve even tried a detangle spray. We’ve had her groomed a few times, but she has to be sedated for it, which I don’t like, and it’s really expensive. It worries me to do that. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has a recommendation? Thanks so much! <3

    • Comedy Plus says:

I’ve only heard one Christmas video and that’s because one of my blogging buddies does a Christmas Music Marathon every year. 🙂

  9. XmasDolly says:

I totally agree with Steve you DO get the cutest pics of kitties. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was rather quiet. My children & grandchilden come on Saturday to celebrate. A long time ago so as to NOT create ill feelings or arguments I accepted the weekend after the holiday to celebrate holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) so my children didn’t have to fight with the in-laws. Girlfriend I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you & you really came at a good time in my life where I needed a friend. Thank you for being you.

1 – Black Friday just another day to me now. I wish it is the way it use to be when my kids were little, but having so many kids to buy for & me being in my situation… well… you know!
2 – A pet peeve of mine at this time of year is not having enough money to go Christmas shopping to buy all my grandkids presents. They just are all spoiled & expect too much. It’s heartbreaking.
3 – ‘Tis the season for thanking Jesus, being happy and making others happy. hahaha let me be the first to say MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! hehehe I LOVE CHRISTMAS… I just hope nothing or no one rains on my parade this year. I LOVES CHRISTMAS TIME. It’s only a month of merriment so I suck up every day and moment that I can. LUV IT…………
4 – I never jumped on the BLACK FRIDAY bandwagon BECAUSE I Christmas shop all year long. I see a good bargain on something I know someone would like and MINE!
HOPE ALL HAD A GREAT THANKSGIVING & HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL & especially you and yours mine friend. Luv you immensely! Sorry this is so long! HUGS

    • Comedy Plus says:

I’m glad we found each other too, Marie. I’ve seen your blog here and there over the years, but never really connected. Then I did and well the rest is history. I’m so glad we’re buddies. I love you to pieces.

I remember not having money for things. We were in the same boat. Oh well, we survived.

I hear you on the in-law drama about kids and holidays. I won’t get into that mess either. Whatever you want if fine with us. Keeping the peace is way more important.

We had a most wonderful Thanksgiving. A wonderful meal and no drama.

Have a fabulous day and weekend honey. 🙂

  10. Marv says:

Happy BELATED Thanksgiving! And I must say, those are awfully cute kitten. And THANK YOU for including us on Feline Friday – even though I refused to let Mom take any pictures of me since she got home and she had to post a picture of Mr Finger at the volcano.
I hope I will be back to normal next week.

    • Comedy Plus says:

You’ll come out and love on mom when you’re ready. I think you may be teaching her a lesson for being gone so long. It’s all good. 🙂

  11. Deziz World says:

We don’t have green papers fur Black Furiday, but mommy says even ifin we did, we wouldn’t be out in the craziness. MOL And we too don’t wanna hear a bunch of Christmas carols befur December. Have a blest weekend. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

  12. A ShutterBug Explores says:

What adorable and precious kittens and great photo for the ‘season’ ~ Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and lots of hugs for you ~ from both of us ~ XXX ~ Ruff! Ruff!

    Happy Day to you,

  13. Suzanne Gunter McClendon says:

    Awww what cute little furballs!
I agree 100% about Black Friday shopping. I don’t want to do it and am glad that I don’t have to. We have no plans of leaving the house before Monday.
We don’t start Christmas before Thanksgiving either. Our oldest daughter was born exactly a week before Christmas. We didn’t want her birthday to get lost in the shuffle, so we never decorated, put up the tree, or anything at our house before her birthday. Now, she decides when we’ll put up the tree. It may be before her birthday, it may not. It’s all good. It will be fun to see Tiglet and The Soot Sprites reaction to the tree. Angel Xerxes loved looking at the Christmas tree and batting at the ornaments. 🙂
    Have a blessed weekend!

    • Comedy Plus says:

Our great granddaughter has her birthday three days after Christmas, so we make sure that we separate Christmas and her birthday. She’s happy about that.

I love to watch kitties and pups reaction to Christmas trees. Most of it is good and now and then they are on a destruction mission. We have always been fortunate to have a tree without the destruction from the four legged family members. 🙂

      • Suzanne Gunter McClendon says:

I think that it is a good thing to do in regards to these Christmas season babies. So often, it all gets lumped together for them. Two of my uncles and David’s uncle were all born around Christmas, too. I was lucky. There’s no holiday anywhere near my birthday (mid-August). 🙂

Here’s hoping our Christmas tree is as lucky as yours has been through the years! These are probably the friskiest kitties we’ve ever had. They climb everything. haha

        Have a blessed weekend.

  14. Pam Jackson says:

    Love your answers…
    1. Black Friday ______is to be avoided. __.
2 – A pet peeve of mine at this time of year is ___is people that do Black Friday….haha______.
3 – ‘Tis the season for __giving _______.
4 – I never jumped on the _____Black Friday____ bandwagon.

  15. caren gittleman says:

As I just said on the Canadian Cats blog, I am TOTALLY with you on all four of these! I REFUSE to listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving (and yes, even being Jewish I LOVE Christmas music!! I actually LOVE Christmas, the decorations, food, music, etc, it is a magical time)…..but I refuse to give into the commercialism as early as they try to shove it down our throats!! Oh and never would I EVER go out on Black Friday!!!! I agree with everything you said! xoxoxo

  16. darlamsands says:

Adorable! And I’m with you on all those fill-ins, though Christmas music isn’t really my thing anymore. I mentioned on Ellen’s blog about how one line of all my old favorite carols will loop in my head if I hear so much as a snippet of one song. It’s very strange and sad, but at least I can still enjoy my old eighties rock and roll Christmas albums. Be well!

  17. meowmeowmans says:

That photo is precious. Look at those little ones … adorable!

You are so right with your answer for number 2. We were just remarking on that yesterday!

  18. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

Black Friday brings out the worse in people. It’s quite crazy! I prefer to stay home, too. We usually just chillax but this time we were bus installing a new washer. I don’t like listening to Christmas mewsic before Thanksgiving either. I’m more than ready for it now! 😁

    • Comedy Plus says:

I love Christmas, but want Thanksgiving to have its time. I’m into the Christmas music, but my Christmas I’ll be ready to hear something else. Have a great day. 🙂

  19. MNL says:

the kittens are cuties. Laughing at your refusal to leave the house. I can totally understand that. I was going to go out, really I was, got a flyer and sneakers were on sale really cheap and i need new ones but I just couldn’t face the lines. Too exhausting to contemplate. It’s easier to walk 10,000 steps! laughing

    • Comedy Plus says:

I can’t take Black Friday. Okay, I don’t want to shop anytime after Thanksgiving and the days following Christmas. I too would rather walk those 10,000 steps. 🙂

      • MNL says:

yeah, xmas shopping can be a real battle. I don’t do that any more. I’d rather give random gifts during the year when I see something I think a friend would like.

  20. Cathy Kennedy says:

Sandee, I have played along with Friendly Fill-ins in weeks but I’ll give you my responses.

1 – Black Friday is for those slightly off his/her rocker. LOL!!
2 – A pet peeve of mine at this time of year is when retailers chime ‘Happy Holidays’ instead of ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS’. As a Christian I am offended because if it weren’t for Christ’s birth then retailers wouldn’t have this holiday to cash in big on sales.
3 – ‘Tis the season for good will to all men.
4 – I never jumped on the whole ‘Black Friday’ bandwagon. We did it once and that was enough for us.

I appreciate your friendship so much. Have a pAwesome day!

    • Comedy Plus says:

You and I are on the same page about Merry Christmas. Everyone is trying to be so politically correct. I say Merry Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season.

I appreciate your friendship too, Cathy. You have a pawesome day too. 🙂

  21. L.M.G. Miller says:

Oh my goodness, what adorably festive fall kitties! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I also hole up inside my house on Black Friday. I dislike shopping on a typical day, and I definitely dislike it on Black Friday. Though it’s tough for me, I don’t let myself listen to Christmas music prior to Thanksgiving. This is because, though Thanksgiving is not my favorite holiday, I still try to give it its just due. That being said, from Black Friday all the way through the 12 Days of Christmas, it’s constant Christmas music for me. Have a beautiful day!

    • Comedy Plus says:

I’m not a fan of shopping either. I love the Christmas music at first but by the time it’s Christmas I’m ready to hear something else. You have a beautiful day too. 🙂
