Those eyes, so mesmerizing!
We love reading, too, and i think you are a very helpful, loving person.
Happy Friday!
I loved those eyes too. Cats have the most amazing eyes. Happy Friday to you too, my friend. 🙂
Those eyes are definitely looking at a treat LOL
What nice answers Sandee I hope your friends procedure goes well
Have a readtastic FFS 🙂
I do to, it’s a look to see why she’s not feeling well. I hope the procedure shows what’s going on. You have a readtastic FF to Steve. 🙂
Such a sweet face. I hope your friend’s medical procedure goes well.
Yes a sweet face indeed. I’m hoping this procedure will figure out why she’s not feeling well. 🙂
Great staring! Excellent photo to share
Thank you, Jeevan. 🙂
That cat reminds me of one I used to have a long time ago.
You are a very helpful, person. Always thinking of other people. Hope all goes well with your friend.
Thank you, Ann. I try but sometimes I could do more. I too hope everything goes well with our friend. Her hubby is pretty worried about her. 🙂
What an adorable face
I’ve had my first go at Fill-ins….hope you approve!?!?
Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
I did, but I’m not the host of the fill-ins. I’m only hosting Feline Friday. Loves and licky kisses back. 🙂
Those eyes are sending a message! Your friend will appreciate your presence spent with her and you are so considerate. Hope everything goes well. I prefer to be home than travelling.
I know both her and her husband appreciate our being there. Moral support and all. I too hope everything goes well. 🙂
I love your Friday fill-ins – what are you reading now?
Echoes in Death: An Eve Dallas Novel
When the young woman―dazed, naked, and bloody―wanders in front of their car, Roarke slams on the brakes just in time, and Eve―still in glittering gown and heels―springs into action. It’s been a long night for the tired homicide cop, and it’s far from over.
Daphne Strazza is rushed to the ER, but it’s too late for Dr. Anthony Strazza. A brilliant orthopedic surgeon, he now lies dead amid the wreckage of his obsessively organized town house, his three safes opened and emptied. Daphne would be a valuable witness, but in her terror and shock, the only description of the perp she can offer is repeatedly calling him “the devil.”
While it emerges that Dr. Strazza was cold, controlling, and widely disliked―and that he treated Daphne like a trophy wife―this is one case where the evidence doesn’t point to the spouse as the first suspect. So Eve and her team must get started on the legwork, interviewing everyone from dinner-party guests to professional colleagues to caterers, in a desperate race to answer some crucial questions:
What does the devil look like? And where will he show up next? 🙂
Such beautiful eyes in a sweet face! I love your answers. There’s no place like home! 😀
I agree there is no place like home. 🙂
Sandee, you and Zane are very helpful to a lot of people and animals. And I so agree with you, home is the best place to visit. Your fill-ins were terrific. Sandee, you and Zane have a really wonderful day.
Thank you, Marg. I think we can all do more to help others. Simple things are often the very best thing. You have a wonderful day and weekend too, my friend. Scritches to all your babies. 🙂
Yes, we voted and the eyes have it, such a pretty kitty!
I’m glad we have the vote. Thanks for joining in the hop too, Brian. Most appreciated. 🙂
Years ago, when I discovered kindles, I was thrilled at the ability to have hundreds of books in less space than one would occupy. I will still read fiction on kindles, but quickly discovered that I prefer the feel of an actual book in my hands, so right now, I need at least one more bookshelf.
There is nothing better than the smell and feel of a good book. 🙂
I made an effort to switch to a kindle when we spent a few years living aboard, but quickly reverted to real books, though I still do keep that kindle around in case of a trip…
What a pretty cat. I actually joined in today of my own accord! ~grin~ I’m with you on travel. There is one upcoming trip to the place I’d prefer were home (North Carolina’s Outer Banks). Oh, well. We would not have enjoyed the company of Luna, my kitty that passed in 2014 (has it been that long?). Have a blessed day, my dear.
I was surprised to see that you joined in on the hop and I was very pleased too. Welcome to Feline Friday. We lost our Little Bit in 2015 and it seems like yesterday. You have a blessed day and weekend, Darla. 🙂
What a purrfect Feline Friday Sandee! I hope you and Zane have a great weekend. 😉
Love & huge ((HUGS)) ❤🤗
I thought it was a purrfect shot too. We are staying home this weekend. Too hot and we were out last weekend. Resting this weekend. Love and hugs back, Jody. 🙂
Great idea you have there Sandee. Me too, I woke sicker than a dog this morning, so I am chilling out this weekend myself. Love and ((HUGS)) ❤🤗
That is a pretty tabby cat. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I hope your friend’s procedure goes well. I am a homebody too. Have a nice weekend. XO
I love Friendly Fill-ins and miss joining in when we’re cruising. Not going on another cruise until next month so I’ll be joining in. You have a nice weekend too, Ellen. 🙂
Sacramento? City of Insanity? Really?
Yes, that’s where her procedure is taking place. No choice. Most of California is insane anymore. 🙂
You find the most irresistable kittens and I love your creative fill ins
Thanks, Jan and thank you for getting your comments to work. I had no trouble commenting today. 🙂
“I just stopped by my food dish and it’s empty! That is unacceptable.”
I am going to “Tiger Pride” night at the local high school. It is a kick off to the fall athletic season and our youngest grand daughter will get her Track & Field team state championship ring that they earned this past spring.
I want to be more like Christ. I would like to have more of His compassion, love for others, and humble servant.
Once in a blue moon I go to a concert. I am no longer a fan of crowds, traffic, and over priced tickets.
I have a large collection of baseball caps. I have had as many as 100, but I thinned the herd and replaced a few others so I am now down to about 50+/-.
Lucy, I’ll call the SPCA on your peeps if you want me to. Oh wait, I’ll come over and fill your dish. I like your peeps too much to rat them out.
Love your answers and some of them I knew how you’d answer. We’ve known each other a very long time. 🙂
sounds like fill-ins 1, 2 and 3 are being taken care of next week. If you bring a few books, that will take care of 4 too!
I never go anywhere without taking books. It’s my most favorite thing to do. 🙂
I have to sneak books into the house now, since The Hubby thinks I have too many already! Ha…what does he know?
Thank goodness I don’t have to sneak books into our house. Hubby is as bad as I am. We just give each other a pass. Yes, what does he know. 🙂
I think that cat wants something. Maybe what you’re eating.
You’re probably right about that, Binky. They can hear what they want to hear and usually when you’re eating they have to check things out. 🙂
Your kitty is a sweetie, but not a black sweetie on National Black Cat Appreciation Day 😉 Please, no worries, I can’t keep up with all the online national *whatever” day either. Whatever, it’s all good. Please enjoy your weekend. 🙂
I’m sorry about that. I rarely follow those things. Friday the 13th and holidays, but on this day isn’t in my wheelhouse. You enjoy your weekend too. 🙂
Mom and Dad have traveled lots and lots, and they would like to do more, but it is now hard with Sawyer and his issues. She truly is a homebody, though. If she never left home again, she’d be super happy with it. Hope Sacramento won’t be too hot and smokey while you are there. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
When our babies need us we stay home. We did with Little Bit too. Right to the end. We miss her so. According to the weatherman it won’t be too hot, but one never knows about the smoke until you get where you’re going. Not too bad today. Have a great weekend, Janet. Scritches to all the kitties. 🙂
I loved your Feline picture and answers. My link is in. Enjoy
Thanks, Crystal. Thanks for joining in. It is most appreciated. 🙂
We are loving’ that picture. Especially the blurry white paws. MMMMM!
I thought this was a cute pie so thought it would be a great addition to Feline Friday. 🙂
That’s very nice of you to go and be with your furiend. Have fun. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
We do that when we can. All our friends are getting older and spend lots of time having surgery or tests of one kind or another. Luv ya’ back. 🙂
Doesn’t mommy know it. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Wonder if that cat is thinking ‘are you bringing home a puppy?’. MOL!
Hope you have a safe trip and that all goes well for your friend. Sending purrs.
Well we didn’t but you did and that pup is adorable. The kitties will get used to it soon. Thanks for the well wishes for our friend. 🙂
I like the two whiskers on the forehead sticking up!
I hadn’t noticed those two whiskers. I went back and looked and sure enough. Happy weekend, Greg. 🙂
<3 beautiful tabby <3
Books are a great collection! I seem to accumulate them, too.
I agree. Yes books are a great thing to collect. 🙂
Such an adorable and alert kitty! Xox from Ms. Z ^_^
Happy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It’s watching something very intently. Happy day and weekend to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
awwww such a precious face- we had a tabby years ago “Mr Cat” he was a wonderful pal!
I’ve had so many wonderful pals over the years. Each one special in their own way. 🙂
Our Humans love books too, and so do we. We like to lay on top of them just when The Humans want to pick them up and read them MOL
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto & The Tribe of Five
That’s exactly what kitties are supposed to do. You’re in charge after all. 🙂
What a cute kittie. I’m a fan of reading too!
1 – I am going to love teaching at my new school this year (what a big difference from where I was last year!!).
2 – I want to be in a house by the end of my apartment’s lease (early next year).
3 – Once in a blue moon, I sing in public (usually, I save the innocent ears of others). 😉
4 – I have a large collection of family photos.
I hope you have your own home too by next year. That would be most wonderful. You’ve come a long way. 🙂
I am sorry that your friend needs to have a medical procedure. I hope all goes well for them.
We’re happy to stay home, too, and away from the water haha.
David and I love to read, too. Reading almost always offers a wonderful adventure.
Have a blessed weekend!
Hubby and I read together every day. It’s most relaxing. You have a blessed week too and thanks for joining Feline Friday. 🙂
That paints a sweet picture. 🙂 David and I read together, too. We took on War and Peace as a read-aloud but, for the most part, only reading it while on the road. It took us four years, but we finally finished the book. We’re working on The Complete Works of Robert Louis Stevenson now, but haven’t read on it in a while.
What is your favorite book that you and your husband have read together?
Often, we are in the same room reading on our own, too, and this is usually how it is.
Thanks for hosting Feline Friday. 🙂
Have a blessed week.
Hubby and I read together, but not the same book. He reads his book and I read mine. We sit together while doing so. It’s our quiet time and it’s ever so wonderful. You have a blessed week too. ♥
I agree. That is a wonderful way to spend time together. 🙂 Thank you. ♥
Such a pretty cat, she is pleading for a bit of what it its hat you have, expecting it might be for her.
🙂 ♥ ♥ 🙂
1 – I am going__to bed early one of these days____.
2 – I want to be more __lucky in playing the lotteries___.
3 – Once in a blue moon, I buy a lottery ticket____.
4 – I have a large collection of _1:16 scale cast iron model classic cars___.
Have a nice trip to visit your friend, Sandee. I know she will appreciate your coming.
..
I hope you win the lottery soon and win big. My friend is very appreciative that we are coming to be with her and her hubby for this procedure. She and her husband have been good friends for many years. 🙂
I love those green eyes.
I did too and I love that pose. 🙂
Who could resist that face! Not me! lol
Me either, Eugenia. 🙂
Sandee, you and I are kindred spirits We both read a lot
Yes we are, Michelle. It’s a good thing. 🙂
Great photo! And, I love your answers, it sounds like you. Great questions too! My hats off to Ellen and Lorianne!
I going to- the beach this summer. (Maybe)
I want to be more- organized.
Once in a blue moon- I go dancing.
I have a large collection of- Books
Have a great Saturday, Sandee. Sending back hugs!
I can see your answers sound likes you. Just saying. 🙂
By the way, Comedy Plus looks fabulous! And thanks for including A Nice Place In The Sun in your “Humor Blogs.” I appreciate it, Sandee. 🙂
You are most welcome, Ann. 🙂
You are traveling if you’re on your boat!
Yes, but we’re by ourselves. 🙂
I hope all goes well with your friend’s procedure. I have a big collection of books too — and DVDs and CDs. Nowadays, I would be considered a luddite, lol, as everything fits on a kindle or an ipod.
Cute cat!
We have DVDs and CDs too. Hubby loves his old movies and shows and I love my music. I’ve not done the kindle yet, but someday. I just love the smell and feel of a good book. 🙂
Hope you had a splendid weekend and thanks for all your supporting comments ~ Xox from Ms Z
Happy Day to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Hope you had a great weekend too. We had a quiet one at home. It’s very hot out and that worked for us. Happy day to you and Zoe. 🙂
What a stunning kitty! You always have the most beautiful cat photos to share. Your #2 made me realize that I need to work on the same. And we had the same answer for #4. I collect books like they’re going out of style. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Thank you on your comment about beautiful cat photos. I love cats so very much. I love books very much too. I had a wonderful weekend. I hope you did too. 🙂
Suzanne and I prefer to stay at home, as well. Have a blessed week.
