Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1.______ keeps me up at night.
2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be ____.
3. If I were home alone and heard footsteps in the house, I would _____.
4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say ____.

Here are my answers:
1. Nothing keeps me up at night. Head hits pillow and I’m asleep.
2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be my hearing. Losing it slowly.
3. If I were home alone and heard footsteps in the house, I would investigate.
4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say, she lived and loved well.

I fall asleep easily when I first go to bed but if I wake up (and I do frequently) I have a hard time falling back asleep.
I would also Love to improve my hearing. I have the hearing aids but still don’t always hear so well. There are a lot of people out there who talk VERY softly. Even when you tell them you can’t hear them they still talk way to quiet to hear.

  2. 15andmeowing says:

Very cute kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You are brave to investigate footsteps. I fall asleep right away too as long as I don’t have caffeine too late. 🙂 Have a nice weekend. XO

I was a cop for 25 years. We investigate things. It just comes natural. You have a nice weekend too and thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. 🙂

  3. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

I can’t see the picture. The ship Internet is so slow nothing loads properly. I agree with #3, I would have to investigate but would make sure I had something hefty in my hand!

  4. Cecilia Upchurch says:

Morning Sandee What a precious little itty bitty kitty face.
I come from a long line of poor sleepers…
Here at our house both of us are slowly losing our hearing. One of us has accepted that fact, after it was confirmed medical professionals. One of us has not….BOL MOL LOL
    Loved #4 and I agree.
    Hugs Cecilia

Beautiful kitty cat! Great fill ins. I wish I could fall asleep right away. It takes forever for me to sleep and I only sleep for a few hours. The good part is that I’m retired and don’t have to worry about going to work 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!

Such a beautiful kitty! Love your fill-ins! Steps in the house – toss up for me between investigate (with a baseball bat) or call the police! In my house though, there are 6 of us, 11 at one time if you count all the dogs, so there’s always plenty of footsteps! Happy Friday!

  7. MadSnapper says:

money worries keep me up at night as do many other things. I don’t need to improve my senses, but my brain needs help and a valve to turn it off

  8. A ShutterBug Explores says:

Happy Feline Friday! I wish I could say nothing keeps me up at night. I have no problems falling asleep, but about five hours later, I often wake up and start thinking about everything that is going on the next day! I would give the same answer for the fill-in about senses. The reason I would say hearing is mostly due to comprehension. I can hear well, but I don’t always comprehend well through hearing. This is one reason I rarely listen to audiobooks (although now that I think about it, it might help improve my comprehension if I do this more often). I hope your weekend is wonderful! 🙂

  10. Invisibly Me says:

“She lived and loved well”. That’s the ideal thing to be able to say at the end of it all.

Mine will read, “You’re standing on my boobs, get off”. Or “I told you I was sick”. Either will do. 😆

I hope you both have a lovely weekend! xx

  11. messymimi's meanderings says:

    That’s a beautiful cat.

It’s the police officer in you that would lead you to investigate, and i understand. Years of training come into play.

You have lived and loved well.

Hope you and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful weekend, hugs!

  12. Patricia says:

Don’t know why but the older I get the harder it is for me to get a good nights sleep…even naps are problematic. My hearing is not the best. I am considering a hearing aid so I can hear the TV and to be able to take part in conversations where there are several people talking. I don’t know what I want on my tombstone. My brother wanted his to say “Always something, now this” and that is what it says.

    • Sandee says:

We’re planning on a quiet weekend. All this construction is disruptive. We’re loving it though. Happy weekend. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to you. 🙂

  13. UP says:

1.Raging insomnia_ keeps me up at night.
    2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be vision.
    3. If I were home alone and heard footsteps in the house, I would grab the glock_____.
    4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say _”I told them I_didn’t feel well.__.

  14. Rosey says:

I was trying to schedule a few Wordless Wednesday posts ahead of time. I like to participate but school takes up every waking second (not really, but it seems that way!). I’m glad you commented because I scheduled it wrong. -_- LOL

I like your answers, and the cute kitty. 🙂

    Here’s mine:
    1. Nothing keeps me up at night.
    2. If I could improve one of my senses, it would be sight (I now have to squint to see small print and that’s not even always effective).
    3. If I were home alone and heard footsteps in the house, I would wonder what the cat was doing.
    4. I would want the epitaph on my tombstone to say ‘loving mother, dedicated friend, always a child of God.’
