Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1. Every October, I ________.
2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as _______.
3. _______ is my favorite scary story.
4. I would ______ if there were a zombie apocalypse.

Here are my answers:
1. Every October, I look forward to the last cruise of the season. Indian summers are the best time to boat.
2. If I were going to a costume party, I would go as a witch. I already have the broom.
3. Red Lady of Huntingdon College is my favorite scary story.
4. I would prepare supplies and hide if there were a zombie apocalypse. Although I think there are a lot of zombies roaming around right now.

Maybe you’re right, maybe the zombies are already among us! Instead of a scary, immediate apocalypse, it’ll be a slow burner as we gradually realise they’ve been here all this time 😂

That Red Lady story, the part based on a young student at the college, is really sad. Her roommates want to leave, everyone probably makes it known they find her strange, and then she kills herself. Jees. Screw the people being haunted by her, I feel bad for the Red Lady!

On that perky note, have a lovely week, Sandee. xx

It’s a sad story indeed. I feel bad for the red lady too. Yes the Zombies are among us. Have a lovely day and weekend, Caz. 🙂 🙂

      Sandee says:

Happy birthday for all those that are having a birthday. I agree about the living folks are the most fearful. 🙂

  5. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!

These two pals for life are just contemplating what adventure to indulge in today.

Every October, I look forward to the fall colors in nature. It is the best time for all sorts of photography.
If I were going to a costume party, I would go as a sports photographer. Heaven knows I’ve got the equipment.
Frankenstein is my favorite scary story.
I would arm myself to the max if there were a zombie apocalypse. I’m too old to out run anybody and the kid in me sees the opportunity to blow stuff up!
    Have a blessed weekend.

  13. Jen – Texas – My name is Jennifer, but my friends and family call me Jen. I live in the DFW area here in Texas. I am a 49-year-old mom of two not-so-little kids - T (22) and S (19). I have been married to my best friend and soulmate, Fabian, for 23 years. We share our home with three crazy hairballs named Korina, Tabitha, and Tumbledart, and a doggo named Zac. I love reading and started at a young age when first introduced to my mother's stash of Nancy Drew Mysteries. Then I developed an odd fascination for horror and became obsessed with Stephen King during my middle school years. It is still my favorite horror novel. I was in high school when the "romance" book bug took a bite. I read my first historical romance novel, Skye O'Malley, by Bertrice Small, and I never looked back. That was almost 30 years ago. I love history and the Dark Ages of Scotland and Britain, with Tudor England and Regency following close behind. I adore Jane Austen! My passion is still Historical Romance, although I will read just about any genre that strikes my fancy these days. I have been gaming since the days of Atari when I would sit and play Asteroids and Missile Command for hours, after homework, of course! I still recall my father getting our first computer and becoming enveloped in PC gaming with Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Oregon Trail. Consoles by Nintendo and the Play Station soon followed, and the rest is history. I introduced my children to gaming at a young age, and we have been gaming and playing together ever since. We mainly play PC games like Minecraft, Wizard101, Pirate101, Toontown Rewritten, and games on Roblox and Steam, but we also play on the Switch and PS4, too. I have been online, in some form or fashion, building a website or sharing my thoughts and musings for quite a few years.
    Jen says:

Kittens are too adorable! I am a day late. LOL. I haven’t been blogging much lately. Happy weekend!

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

There is no late, Jen. It’s good that you are here no matter what day you show up. 🙂

  14. Curious as a Cathy says:

    Sandee,

Those are some darling kitties! Don’t worry about the zombie apocalypse lasting long. They feed on human brains and since there’s a shortage of people who actually have any brains these days the zombies will die off for good. 😀 Have a good weekend, my dear!

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

It’s scary, but more sad than anything else. Best wishes and hugs back. 🙂

  15. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.
Wing Commander Basil & The B Team says:

Supurr fill-ins and you are right about the zombies, it’s already happened and no-one realises! Happy Sunday and here’s wishing you an epic week ahead!

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

Yes zombies are everywhere. They walk amongst us and we didn’t even realize they were here for the longest time. You have an epic week too. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂

  16. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.
    Tails Around the Ranch says:

You’re right…it’s hard to determine whether or not we’re in a Zombie apocalypse currently. At times it rather does mimic The Walking Dead series. Sigh.
