That is a lovely little family.
I love to travel, but like everyone it has been restricted for the last 2 years.
I thought so too. Travel isn’t in our wheelhouse right now. 🙂
We do have a 2 week cruise booked for next month but I am a bit apprehensive about it. I am sure it will be fine once we get on board. We have a big balcony so we can keep to ourselves when necessary.
Aww! what a lovely photo 🙂
I liked your fill-ins especially #4 good on you Sandee
Have a windowcleaningtastic weekend and FFS 👍
I thought these kitties were most adorable. I vowed I would not be like my mother and aunts. They were so unhappy, but stuck in bad marriages. 🙂
Those kitties are adorable! I’m sorry you saw such sorrow. You are inspiring, my dear. ~hugs~ I bet you could write an excellent book on helping today’s women balance a self reliant work ethic, motherhood, and relationships in general.
The kittens are just adorable. I love washing windows!
Your mom or you, Miss Molly. The washing windows that is. 🙂
Cute kittens. We travel a lot, but by car and mom works hard to have enough money to give us a great lifestyle. Happy Friday!
I think your mom does a great job with all of you. Happy Friday and weekend. 🙂
Love the kitties!! Reading is fun.🤗.📚.🤗.💕
Reading is a passion with both my husband and I. Hugs. 🙂
There’s nothing better than kittens!
I agree with you. Happy Friday and weekend. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee, good answers, I purrticularly like #4 – everyone should be able to care for themselves and their needs, thus stay with a purrson because it is a lovely place to be. Have a wonderful day/weekend… big, big things are happening in the shadows…. good things!
Purrseidon
So many don’t do this though. Settle for being taken care of. Not for me. 🙂
Such a cute kitty family! Those were good answers too.
Thank you so much. We hope dad Terry is feeling much better. 🙂
I rarely watch TV because I read instead. when I was young I thought I was ugly because I compared myself to my cousin and her friends.
We don’t watch much television. A short period after dinner and then we’re off to doing something else. 🙂
What a sweet little family!! Mom did windows a couple of weeks ago.
My weekend project. It’s all good. 🙂
Reading is a lost art for many people these days.
Not for hubby and I. We love to read. The stacks of books too. We’re book hoarders. 🙂
Sandee, I am a sucker for a pink nose on a kitty. Madi also had a wee freckle on the side of her pink nose and her paw pads were alternating pink and black. When you finish with your windows, holler I’ll send you my address
Hugs and Happy Friday to you and Zane
Cecilia
Pink on kitties are most adorable. Have a great Friday and weekend, my friend. Big hug. 🙂
Sucha cute kitty family. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for joining in the fill-ins, great answers. Kuddos to you on #4. And I have a lot of window cleaning to do this spring too. Have a nice weekend. XO
I love kitties and I would take all of these. I vowed to always take care of myself. I’ve had boyfriends over the years that wanted me to give up my career and have them take care of me. I dumped them then and there. 🙂
I like your number 4. Luckily, I have the most amazing man in my life who is my best friend. Like you do. It’s lovely to need each other, but still be able to do what needs to be done independent of one another.
You did well, but many women just look for a provider and that’s just sad. We doing it right, Jen. :)_
What adorable little posers Sandee! Have a fun filled Friday and weekend! Hugs! 🙂 <3
They are indeed. I have to work hard to keep up with you, Deborah. Hugs. 🙂
What a beautiful family of kitties! You and I parallel on your answer to #4. I’ve supported myself most of my life and I thank my parents for pushing me to be self-sufficient. Back in my day, girls being raised to get a higher education and a good job was not the trend. Happy Friday!
My father once told me that all I was going to do it get married and have babies. Pissed me off. In my 40s he told me I was the only one of the kids that amounted to anything. Happy Friday. 🙂
#4: Yes!
#1: Reading…If I could read books for a living, I’d do it! The hardest part of enjoying good literature (or even not-so-good literature), is finding access to all of the books in a series. Many of the UK authors don’t have American distribution.
I could strong-arm my local library to find the books that I want, but that seems like a bully-type of deal, so I won’t.
I love to read. Hubby loves to read. We have piles of books to read and when we’re read them we pass them on. Many end up in Veterans Hospitals for them to enjoy. 🙂
Those kitties are super cute. I love your answer to work hard to be able to be self-sufficient. That’s what I teach all of my kids too.
I rarely read a newspaper, I surf the internet for news instead.
My spring to do list includes cleaning out the linen closet and repainting the base boards.
If I were invisible for a day, I would go to the beach and read all day.
When I was young, I could eat anything because calories didn’t stick (that is no longer true).
It’s what we need to teach every child. Good for you.
Love all your fill-ins and especially #4. That was me too. My nickname for years was Slim. 🙂
Adorable kitties! I read more than travel these days too. I used to love to travel but haven’t in awhile. I almost chose the same #3 as you did, but then I got nosey and wanted to spy on my kitties. LOL Have a great weekend!
Spying on kitties is a good thing. I went selfish and it was all about me. No one could find me so I could do whatever I wanted to do. 🙂
kitties are the best.
Here are this weeks questions:
1. I rarely soda, i drink coffee and tea instead.
2. My spring to do list includes purging my closet and donating some things..
3. If I were invisible for a day, I would _hide in the oval office to see what’s really goingon .
4. When I was young, I wanted to be an attorney because the ones i knew were wealthy.
I can’t remember the last time I had a soda. I drink lots of water though.
Did the closet a couple of years ago and decided not to let it get out of control again.
Let me know what’s going on in the oval office.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Paul. 🙂
Aww those kittykats are so sweet. What happens to cats when they grow up and become meanies who take pleasure in bossing their humans around? 😂
I had always wanted to be independent when I was younger, working hard to get anything I did by my own efforts and my own merit. I think it’s a good way to live if you can, though it’s not always that simple I know.
Cleaning blinds and windows. That’s something that has been on my list for quite some time. I actually bought a new glass cleaner on Monday, two big bottles, in the hope to attempt it soon. I feel I may talk myself out of it for a while longer yet… But I do love spring cleaning and things feeling fresher as the nicer weather comes in.
Have a lovely weekend, Sandee xxxx
My windows and shutters are easy to clean. I do the downstairs one day and the upstairs the next day. Works swell for us. So much work in the spring. You have a lovely weekend too, Caz. 🙂
Cute little kitties and spot on fill ins! Cheers and hugs to you and Zane! xoxo
Thank you so much. Cheers to you and Russell too. Scritches to Miss Lucy. 🙂
Yeah, number four. Me too. Good for you!
I vowed that I would pay my own way in life and not depend on anyone for anything. It’s worked out very well. I’m not retired and can still take care of my financial needs. 🙂
What an adorable feline family!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
You have a wonderful weekend too. 🙂
Like you, I do most of my traveling in books these days… Right now I’m in 1930s Kentucky mountains with The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek Great trip! 💞 Have a beautiful weekend, Sandee! xo
Books are treasures. You can travel the world and never leave your home. 🙂
That’s a beautiful mama and babies.
Your #4 is excellent. Reading is the fastest and easiest way to travel, also.
That was just the way I felt. I watched to many women settle. I didn’t want to be one of them. Happy weekend. 🙂
Such a litter of cuteness! “Pawsome” fill-ins. Here’s to a lovely weekend welcoming the spring equinox.
I’m ready for spring as many are. Have a great weekend. Scritches to the pups and a big smooch to Norman. 🙂
ahhh Sweet little kitty family!
Have a great weekend! <3
I agree with you, Barbara. 🙂
Traveling in books is great. It’s way cheaper and you don’t have to worry about what you’re wearing.
Amen to that, Ann. Happy Birthday. 🙂
Love those kittens! Sweet lil things. I LOVE your answers! They are all excellent. I am sure grateful that I know you. Perhaps one day we will meet in person. It is a thought that crosses my mind many times. It is always fun to meet blogging friends. I have never been happier. My grandson was just in California, I should have stowed away with them hahahaha. They were in Carlsbad and went to the San Diego Zoo and of course, DIsneyland. The kids had a wonderful time.
I hope someday we’ll meet. We’re not that far away from each other. San Diego is about 9 hours from us. Love and hugs. 🙂
Beautiful little family!
I agree Mudpie. Happy day and weekend. 🙂
When I read your answers I loved them all but #4 struck me. My grand girl Christal had a rough childhood. She is married with 3 kids but she went through absolute hell when she was a yougn teen. She treated herself to a Metallica concert in Las Vegas last week. When she told her story, I never knew the whole story. I admire her courage and I also admire the fact that she learned to take care of herself also. She’s a great mom and wife and she is bi-lingual. She has a nice job and enjoys her life. I love stories with happy endings. 🙂 I hope you have a terrific weekend. Take care HUGS & LOVE
Taking care of ourselves is a good thing for women and for men. Hugs and love. 🙂
We agree with number four completely.
A great deal of satisfaction with #4. 🙂
Mom is always trying to groom one of the kids before the family portrait.
I rarely travel much these days, I capture and share my world though the camera lens instead.
My spring to do list includes planting new butterfly bushes and doing a little landscaping.
If I were invisible for a day, I would like to go inside the White House war room and hear what they’re really thinking.
When I was young, I vowed to work a 9-5 job because my dad worked shift work and missed nearly all of my sports growing up.
I did years of shift work. I had a good job though, so I faithfully worked whatever shift they assigned me to. I’m reaping the benefits now. 🙂
Hello cute kitties. I am with you on #4. And that was what my dad wanted for my sis and I.
Your dad was a wise man, Nancy. 🙂
Aww, cute kitties! I might do the fill ins one day. LOL! My dad taught me to be self sufficient. I think everyone needs to know how to rely on just themselves. You never know what kind of a situation you may find yourself in. Have a great weekend!
I agree with you, Jen. Getting help is one thing, but depending on others all the time isn’t a good thing. You have a great weekend too, Jen. 🙂
awesome photo of the sweet kitties and Mama ~
lots of hugs and love to you from me and Angel ~
Wishing you lots of laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
We’re having a great weekend, Carol. Got lots of chores done today. Feels good. Love and hugs to you and Angel. 🙂
That cat sure looks like a good momma to those cute babies. 🙂
Sandee, your answer #1 is so spot on. I love reading, and imagining the places I am reading about.
Have a great weekend!
Reading is a wonderful thing. We read every single day. Have a great day and week. 🙂
Epic fill-ins, and the same for #4 – self reliance all the way!
I’ve been self reliant all my life. It’s a good thing. 🙂
You don’t travel? Is something wrong with your yacht?
Nothing is wrong with our yacht. We go on cruises, but we don’t consider that travel. I love you Kismet. 🙂
What a sweet kitty family, and good job on the fill-ins. My traveling days seem to be over; though, there are still places I’d like to visit. Love and hugs and kisses from the kitties, Janet
We’ve decided that the boat is as far as we’re going. It works for us. Hugs, kisses and lots of love. 🙂
