We have had a barbecue for a long, long time. I never like parties.

LOL, I’m the same way, get to a party and sit there wondering when I can go home. Wade and I would argue about where to go to eat too. I would say I don’t care wherever you want to go and he would say I don’t care you decide. Then when I would make a choice it would be no, I don’t want to go there…lol
We turned down invites and now we don’t get invited anymore. We’re happy about that. 🙂
We managed to get the BBQ going yesterday because the weather was good. I used to make my own beefburgers but our butcher makes wonderful ones so there is no point making them myself.

This summer I plan on surviving triple digit heat. 🙂 My fave at a bbq is potato salad. I will be at that party if it includes my books, my sewing machine, my crochet hook and all of my Cricut machines. Lol. The silliest thing I’ve argued about recently is the taste of Chloroseptic throat spray. I said it tastes like the smell of band aids and it does. 😀 – Happy 4th of July Sandee. A BBQ here in the South, it refers to the flavor used on meat at a cook out. BOL BOL Another funny regional difference is when someone is visiting we offer them a drink. They think we mean an adult beverage, we mean anything except an adult beverage. One time a physics professor from Canada asked me if had had any whitener. I paused for a moment trying to decide on the meaning. I handed him white out, (for correcting errors). He looked at me like I had grown horns. He meant coffee mate. Crazy language we have.
