Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1. If I could trade places with someone for a day, I would trade with _______.
2. I would like to own a _______________ some day.
3. I can’t stand _________ this time of the year.
4. _________ is my favorite thing about this time of the year.

Here are my answers:
1. If I could trade places with someone for a day, I would trade with no one. I’m happy in my skin.
2. I would like to own a larger boat someday. It will never happen, but sometimes bigger would be better.
3. I can’t stand the heat this time of the year. Triple digits right now.
4. Boating is my favorite thing about this time of year.

      3. I can’t stand the pollen _________ this time of the year.

  1. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Sweet kitties. I wouldn’t want to trade places with anyone either. You know your own problems but don’t know what you might end up with.
I dislike heat too. Down in the peninsula we consider 65 a heatwave!! Thankfully we rarely get the higher temperatures of London and the southeast.

  2. foguth says:

Meowser Ms. Sandee you and I seem to think a lot alike! I didn’t want to change with anyone else, either, but didn’t imagine anyone else would meow that, too!
Have a fantastic day… I’m thinking we’re nearly on the precipice of major revelations/change!

Oh, and thank you for hosting this blog hop!

  3. Xena and Lucy says:

Good answers. I do miss my boat, but gave it up for good reason. I think I would trade with a homeless woman to a. better appreciate what I have, and b. try to give her hope. Of course, that’s easy to say since it isn’t going to happen, right?

    • Sandee says:

We’ll give up the boat when it’s time too. Many know when it’s to much to do anymore. We have homeless everywhere. Everywhere. 🙂

  4. Sandra Hangey says:

Can’t stand g n a t s and Heat and mosquitoes this time of the year. I have no Favorite Time In Summer our favorite thing in summer well maybe watermelon there are two things I would like to own one as a Mac computer and the other is a Kia Soul

    • Sandee says:

I don’t like them either. Pesky little things. Watermelon and let’s not forget the white corn on the cob. I’m waiting for that. 🙂

  5. 15andmeowing says:

Such sweet kitties. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Glad you are happy to be you. 🙂 I don’t know how you handle triple digits- ugh! Have a nice weekend. XO

That Mom and Kitten are really sweet. “Get up Mom lets play” MOL
Great fill ins and that first one is a good answer. I had a really hard time as I am good in my skin also. Bigger boats are ALWAYS better. The fuel use not so much MOL. WOW that is HOT. I so loved boating and that is one thing I really miss. I tried going to a friends boat after my accident but was tipping so much walking on the dock I said it was silly to risk it. If I fell in with my prosthetic it would be so hard to get out I would need many to help. Sigh Thanks for a great week of Hops

    • Sandee says:

Boating is most fun and we’re getting of the age where we can’t do as much. We’ve done different things to make boating easier and that has helped but at some point we’ll be to old. We’ve seen this with so many other boaters. You’re most welcome for the hops. 🙂

  7. yvonne473 says:

Those kitties are just too cute! Great fill ins. I love your answer for #1. I wish I thought of it 🙂 We had the same answer for #3 but you have it much hotter than we do. Hope you have a great weekend!

  8. Mareli Thalwitzer says:

Yes, no better way to start a weekend than with a feline! Mine are waiting for food now, so I better hurry up!

It’s winter in SA, so we actually miss the heat!!

Have a wonderful weekend with your felines.

what a darling photo-cats are the sweetest! Well- so are dogs too! Hugs to you and Zane- love your fill-ins- here are mine:
    1. If I could trade places with someone for a day, I would trade with no one- I love my life and would not trade it with anyone.
    2. I would like to own a small kayak again some day. I miss kayaking and now that we are back in the Northwest it would be fun!
    3. I can’t stand humidity this time of the year. Fortunately we do not get much!
    4. Sunny days and fresh strawberries are my favorite things about this time of the year.

  10. The OP Pack says:

    Awww, two cuties!!!

Mom is right there with you – the humidity here is unbearable. We walked super early this morning, and even then it was sticky.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  11. Anne MRobinson says:

I am combining my comment here as I am very late. I was making a Father’s Day playlist for my husband. Three hours of music later…….I Love your sweet photo share and great answers for the fill in’s/ Happy Father’s Day to your husband and all the good dad’s in your life. Have a super weekend.

  12. messymimi's meanderings says:

    Those are beautiful cats!

Like you, i couldn’t think of anyone i’d want to trade with, i simply stated i’d trade with someone whose life could teach me because i am happy to be me, but always willing to learn more.

This comment is coming very late because a thunderstorm with bad attitude chased us away from the coast a day early, so we travelled back to NOLA, brought Grandpa his BBQ for Father’s Day, and then drove back home, so i’m late with everything!

    • Sandee says:

I taste like candy to them too. Sometimes I have numerous bites in one evening out. I love being me too. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to mom. 🙂

  13. meowmeowmans says:

Such adorable little ones. I love that photo! This summer has been brutal for lots of people. Please stay cool, Sandee. We hope temps start dropping for you soon.

  14. L.M.G. Miller says:

What precious kitties! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You answered #1 so perfectly and profoundly. I hope your week is going wonderfully!

  15. Rosey says:

Aww they love each other. 🙂
I didn’t know you wanted a bigger boat! I have a confession: I love LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to the water and watch, or ride in a boat, but I’d be terrified to drive/park one. Isn’t that silly? But it’s true.

If I could trade places with someone for a day, I would trade with no one, I am comfortable in my skin too.
I would like to own a hahahaha you know the answer here… some day. We have been approved, I just can’t find anything I like in our ‘approved’ price range, lolol. Still waiting, and that’s fine.
I can’t stand how fast summer vacation goes by this time of the year.
Summer vacation is my favorite thing about this time of the year. We are still super busy, but it’s doing things we love.

    • Sandee says:

We say that, but we’ll never buy a bigger boat. Thanks for playing along and I’d love to take you out on our boat. We’d have fun. Happy Wednesday. 🙂

  16. Jan K says:

It’s so wonderful to be happy and content in your own skin. I feel the same.
My hubby would agree with your boat theory. At one point he had a small fishing boat and it wasn’t long before he had to have a bigger one!! I miss our boat, but we traded it for a farm. 🙂
