Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

Here are my answers:

  1. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Such a sweet kitty enjoying the sun on his face. I would definitely decline a trip to space too.

  2. Ann Thompson says:

That kitten is so adorable. That is a picture of pure bliss.
Can’t say that I have ever wanted to go to space. There are plenty of places right here on earth that I would rather go to.

    • Sandee says:

I thought is said spring and I’m still thrilled about spring. It’s suppose to be 90 degrees this Sunday though. I’m not ready for summer yet. 🙂

  3. messymimi's meanderings says:

That is a picture of pure feline bliss.

Writing reports is the bane of law enforcement everywhere. My friend Diane tells of a really not very bright member of her family who was once caught by a military MP on base property (he didn’t realize it, back then the whole thing wasn’t fenced in) with all sorts of stuff he shouldn’t have had on base — his shotgun was in the back window of the truck, shotgun shells all over the backseat of the truck, empty bottles, etc.. The MP looked at the guy, who had obviously been drinking, and told him, “I don’t want to spend all night writing up the report this would take, so go straight home and don’t ever let me catch you on this base again!”

Hope you and Mr. Zane have a wonderful weekend of sailing. Hugs!

    • Sandee says:

Great story. Yes report writing is very difficult for some and easy for others. It’s the who, what, when and how. Sometimes you can even get the why, but I rarely went there. Let the reader do that. The big thing is your report can follow you into court and then you’ll know if you’re a good report writer or not. If there is a mistake the defense team will be all over it. I didn’t let that happen.

You and Mr. Sweetie have a wonderful weekend too. We’re off to the boat. 🙂

  4. Cecilia Upchurch says:

OMCs as if that sweet chin and adorable nose isn’t enough make me squeal you have on a bowtie..
I took accordion for 3 years, I was so excited to show my teacher that I had learned to play Lady of Spain by ear. He WAS VERY VERY upset with me. Scolded me and told me to never do that again ( this was in 1959). That was the wrong way to handle the situation. I think there should have been at least some encouragement..then tell me why I should not do that.
Anyway. As an adult, I’ve often wished I could play guitar
    Hugs Cecilia

    • Sandee says:

Oh that teacher should have not done that. Encouragement is what kids need. To know we are supporting them and helping them along. Shame on that teacher.

Have a great day and weekend, honey. Big hug. 🙂

  5. -Eugenia says:

That’s an adorable picture of the kitty sniffing the air. I have no desire to take a trip into space. I’d rather take a train ride and see the countryside. Happy Friday! Hugs! ❤️

  6. Sandra Hangey says:

I wish I knew how to play cards or games of any kind, if the power goes out we are sunk with nothing to do
If offered to go into space , NO WAY JOSE
there is nothing exciting in my life at all.

  7. 15andmeowing says:

Adorable kitten. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. It is never too late to take violin lessons. I bet you could even find them online. 🙂 Have a great weekend. XO

  8. Caren says:

my sister-in-law plays the violin and has for many, many years. She even plays in a group. She’s sooo talented.! Love that precious kitty! Happy Friday! xoxo

    • Sandee says:

Oh how fun for you to have a family member that plays. I love listening to someone that can play the violin. Beautiful. Happy Friday, Caren. Scritches to the boys. 🙂

  9. UP says:

    Here are this weeks questions:
    1. I wish I knew how to play canasta .
    2. If offered a free trip to space, I would decline
    3. Not much is the most exciting thing in my life right now.
    4. I could give a long lecture on the topic of British History

    • Sandee says:

Thanks for playing along and I agree with you on #4. I’ve learned so much visiting you. I’m so happy I found you. Have a great day and weekend, Paul. 🙂

  10. Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb says:

Love your Fill-ins Sandee! I have to agree with NOT wanting to be an astronaut. Between getting the shot on Tuesday and some after effects and yard work (protection for the tulips from the deer) I did NOT get a post pulled together yesterday! Marv was not pleased that stupid Flowers took precedence over his Feline Friday! I told him it was because he stayed out until after midnight on Tuesday evening, but he is still sulking. He does want to tell you to have a marvellously happy weekend and he sends whisker kisses.

    • Sandee says:

You should never make Marv upset. He’s my main man you know. He loves you and you love him back. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a huge hug to you. Happy weekend. 🙂

  11. yvonne473 says:

I love the kitty photo! I have to participate in Feline Friday. I’m not sure why I haven’t, but I will…maybe next week 🙂 I love your fill ins. I think it would be exciting to go into space, but I know I would be too scared to really accept the trip. Hope you have a great weekend!

  12. Grr, Midnight & Cocoa's Family says:

Our mom wishes she knew how to fly. She knows she can’t, on account of she’s got no wings and she’s not even a bird or anything, but she thinks flying would be so fun. So then you’d think maybe she’d say yes to the space thing cuz of the flying there aspect – nope. She wants her flying to be about tree top level max. Anyway, we love that picture you posted. That happy little baby in the sun is the cutest. Purrs!

  13. The Gang at LLB says:

That bow tie is soooo adorable!!

I never really wanted to go to space….but I would like to learn the violin!
    Have a happy weekend!

  14. Marsha Gay says:

. I wish I knew how to play the guitar
    2. If offered a free trip to space, I would decline
3.Waking up is the most exciting thing in my life right now.
    4. I could give a long lecture on the topic of brevity

  15. Rosey says:

Oh my goodness, cutest kitty pic ever. 🙂 Your report writing answer gave me a good chuckle. I’ve done a bit of that in my life too. I don’t miss it. 🙂

I wish I knew how to play Minecraft so I could play with my son (I get lost in that game as soon as it begins).
If offered a free trip to space, I would say no thank you (can’t miss work you know, lololol!).
Hope is the most exciting thing in my life right now (since I’m ready to buy a house now but have been utterly and completely outpriced by the market -_- ). They’re asking $200k for a shack right now, and they’re selling!!! So crazy.
I could give a long lecture on the topic of creating travel boards on Pinterest. 😉 🙂

    Wishing you a happy weekend!

    • Sandee says:

Thanks for playing along. Love your answers. Wait the housing market out. Keep saving money until it’s a buyers market. Happy weekend. 🙂

      • Rosey says:

Yes! It’s my only choice. I’m not sure how much higher houses can go up, it’s to the point where I wouldn’t even WANT to own a house at these prices because it’s not a good value for the money. The house I had my eye on when it was in my income range is now over $440k and there’s no way I can afford that on my salary. Nor would I get it if I could.

  16. meowmeowmans says:

Aww, that little one is so sweet. It certainly looks to be enjoying that sunshine. 🙂

I’m not sure I’d want to go into space, either. Out on the water is exciting enough for us!

Hope you’re having a good weekend, Sandee. Thank you for hosting!

  17. A ShutterBug Explores says:

One of the most precious photos I have ever seen ~ such a darling kitty ~ Xx

Lots of XX to you ~

Did not feel well most of the weekend ~ so no posts or comments ~ slowly on the mend.

  18. L.M.G. Miller says:

Such a gorgeous kitty in such a gorgeous setting! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I would also love to be able to play the violin, or the cello, or the viola, or really any stringed instrument. Stringed instruments play such beautiful tunes. I hope your week is going wonderfully!
