Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1. ______________ is a mystery I would love to know the answer to.
2. __________________is the farthest I have ever been from home.
3. I’ve lost count of how many times _________.
4. _________ reminds me of _________.

Here are my answers:
1. Road rage is a mystery I would love to know the answer to. It seems that everyone is so angry anymore.
2. The Caribbean is the farthest I have ever been from home. We flew from Sacramento, CA to Miami, Florida and then cruised the Caribbean.
3. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve gone to do something important and get there and forgot why I went there in the first place.  Sometimes it’s days later I remember that important thing I wanted to do.
4. Winter reminds me of why I can’t wait for Spring.

  1. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

    Pretty blue eyes.
I agree with your fill ins.
The furthest I have been from home is most likely 7265 miles when we went to Hawaii.

  2. Sandra Hangey says:

I am in agreement with you on your first one completely I just don’t get road rage! I have been from one side of the US to the other however long that is about 3000 Miles Maybe.

    • Sandee says:

There used to be road rage here and there and now it’s rampant. Frightening. I drive slow and let folks go where they want and I don’t react to them in a negative way. 🙂

  3. My GBGV Life says:

Humans are pretty angry these days. We think this pandemic has made it worse because they are confined and can’t do what they want to do. Mom has traveled the world, but now she is content to take road trips with us just a state or two away from home.

  4. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

What a pretty kitty. 🙂 Road rage is so stupid and childish. Grow up already people! Oh I’ve gone into another room like you and then forget why I’m there. That bugs me to death! Definitely winter reminds me of how much I’m looking forward to spring. I’m ready for it to begin now! 😉 Have a good weekend, my friend!

  5. Cecilia Upchurch says:

My mind’s eye is quite envious of the kitty eyes….
LOL LOL I do the same thing..have a serious mission in my mind…get to the destination ask myself why am I here.
I think it has been worse this last year ’cause there is absolutely no difference in one day to the next.
    Happy Feline friday
    Cecilia

    • Sandee says:

You explained forgetting perfectly. Hubby does it too and we just laugh. Sometimes we never figure out what we wanted to do. Happy day and weekend, honey. 🙂

  6. 15andmeowing says:

That is a beautiful cat, looks like Laz from Mark’s Mews. Thanks for hosting and thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I can relate to #3, I do that all the time. I won’t go over the speed limit, I drive like an old lady so I seem to cause a lot of road rage. Have a nice weekend. XO

    • Sandee says:

I drive like an old lady too. It’s safer for us and I stay in the slow lane most of the time. You have a nice weekend too, Ellen and thanks for co-hosting the fun. 🙂

  7. foguth says:

Meow-meow Ms. Sandee might I ask your definition of road rage? If your definition includes hissing at inconsiderate drivers who cut off my chauffeur, I’m guilty. As per forgetting things, I’ve observed that to be quite common in humans, purrticularly when they pass through a doorway – it is almost as if doorways have some magical ability to mute thoughts.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop,
    Purrseidon

  8. -Eugenia says:

Such a sweet face on the kitty! I don’t get road rage either and it seems there is so much more anger lately. The furthest I’ve been from home is England and I loved it. I’ve lost count of how many times I get phone calls that are Robo callers or potential spam. I don’t mind winter but I am ready budding trees and flowers!

  9. Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb says:

Good Morning (or after noon) Great answers! Yes, Marv had quite the distance to come to live with me. He is a character! We LOVE your Friendly Fill-Ins! So close to what I would answer! We LOVE pawticipating at your Hops and visiting you (and I updated the button on my post)! Thanks so much for being you! Have a marvellously Happy Day! Barb

    • Sandee says:

Thank you for updating the badge. I should have waited until I did the edging, but I was so excited for how they turned out I just went ahead and put them out. Happy day and weekend, Barb. 🙂

  10. messymimi's meanderings says:

    Love those blue eyes.

The bad drivers in front of me don’t make me road rage, they make me confused as to why they do such silly things. Mostly i drive around bemused.

Hope you and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful weekend!

    • Sandee says:

I don’t get involved with the idiots. I just give them all the space they need and smile. I hope you and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed and beautiful weekend too. 🙂

  11. Jim says:

Sandee, this is the most “could I please take you home?” cat I’ve seen here. Thank you, it is sooo sweet looking. I think that shiny glass it appears to be laying on might be sort of cold?
    🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
I agree with you, road rage has gotten out of control here too. Two years ago a fellow jumped out of his big F250 Ford pickup and came face, nose, to face with me. I was getting out of my car with my door open and he came zooming in beside me to park. I casually asked him if he had noticed me close, getting out of my car with the door open. He retorted, “are you trying to tell me how to drive?” Plus then he ranted still in my face. I had to sit down on the curb, my heart seemed to be stopping and I felt queasy all over. After he went in an employee asked me if I was okay (I was okay of sorts) and I took a picture of his license in case I was nearing a heart attack. The picture missed one number, I can’t remember why.
    🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Oh yes, I was hoping my photo and three words would not sound political, I changed it to read “A new future in a sweet older couple’s lives.” I’ll test that.
    🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Here are my answered this weeks questions:
    1. Any other day I would have a list of things, any of which is a mystery I would love to know the answer to.
    2. The farthest is from my home that I could go would be half way between Australia and South Africa out in the Indian Ocean, that is absolutely the farthest. (Coordinates: -29.745445, 84.206198 (29° 44′ 43.6″ S, 84° 12′ 22.3″ E}
I’ve been to both of these and to Madagascar, out and east there in the Indian Ocean then is the farthest I have ever been from home.
    3. I’ve lost count of how many times that I also have ended up with one foot entered into the pantry, wondering if I had started to the refrigerator or to the chopping board in the first cabinet to my left .
    4. A snowman reminds me of the two snow shovels that I’ve left behind, one in Nebraska and the other in New Hampshire. But if you find either you can keep it.
    🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

  12. L.M.G. Miller says:

Such an adorable kitty with gorgeous blue eyes! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I’m starting to wish I had put this answer for #3, because I really have lost track of all the times I’ve walked into a room only to be left wondering why I had went there in the first place. Have a wonderful weekend!

    • Sandee says:

The older you get the worse it gets. I just laugh. What else can you do? Thank you for co-hosting the fun. You have a wonderful weekend too. 🙂

  13. Marsha Gay says:

Death is a mystery I would love to know the answer to.
San Fransisco is the farthest I have ever been from home.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve lost my keys
The cold reminds me of how much I hate winter

  14. Jen says:

Forgetting is my life story! I need post it reminder notes on my forehead, but then I would probably just forget they are there….. 🙂

  15. Rosey says:

The kitty is cute. I love Florida, but I don’t love Miami. It’s crazy driving down there!

Getting hired to write a text book is a mystery I would love to know the answer to (I have so many good ideas to help keep the kids engaged).
Prague is the farthest I have ever been from home.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve gotten excuses for students not doing an assignment correctly (asked for my job back when my mom got sick, so glad they agreed, I love it again this year!).
Princess reminds me of Love Don’t be Shy (both perfumes by Kilian).

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  16. meowmeowmans says:

Wow, that cat’s eyes are amazingly blue! Our Angel Moosey had eyes like that. 🙂

Sandee, I am so with you about winter. Can it just be spring already? Haha.

Happy weekend to you, my friend!

  17. Jan K says:

We are over winter already here! Luke is missing his daily walks, because his Mom is a wimp this year and just doesn’t want to go out into the cold and snow every day! Luckily his Dad is filling in some of the time. 🙂
Oh, and Luke sends you smooches! ♥

    • Sandee says:

I’m not a fan of the cold either. There was frost on all the roof tops this morning. We don’t get snow here, but it’s still so cold. Smooches to Luke and tell him I love him. 🙂
