Friendly Fill-ins
Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.
Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.
If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.
Here are this weeks questions:
1. My plans for the weekend include ___________.
2. I ________________fireworks.
3. I’m grateful I have the freedom to _________.
4. _________ make(s) a house a home.
Here are my answers:
1. My plans for the weekend include nothing different. We’re staying home. All the idiots are out on the water and it’s frightening to take your boat out. Booze and boats don’t go together.
2. I’m not a fan of fireworks. It scares our four legged babies.
3. I’m grateful I have the freedom to do as I wish. There are those that would love to rule the rest of us. Frightening.
4. Love makes a house a home. I’ve lived in both and the home is by far the best.

We have stayed at home since the beginning of March with a very few essential exceptions and nothing is going to change us from doing that any time soon. More restrictions are relaxed from tomorrow and I can see it being a free for all!
The pubs are allowed to open as long as they follow guidelines. They couldn’t stop people from swarming onto the beaches, so how do they think they will control drunken pub goers!
That kitty is adorable. I want to kiss those little jelly bean pads.
Well they are out in the streets protesting too, but no one seems to mind that. Crazy world we live in. 🙂
The kitten looks so peaceful.
Not a care int he world, Rhonda. 🙂
Aww! so comfy and content 🙂
I agree with your replies Sandee specially no 1 their is quite a lot of them I despair 🙁
Their easing everything here and far too soon so I am staying put for a bit longer
Have a resttastic safe FFS and weekend 😷😷😷
Yes comfy and content. A wonderful thing to be. Have a great weekend, Steve. 🙂
I have the day off for the 4th but have no plans to go anywhere. There will be a lot of idiots out there and it’s best to stay clear. It’s kind of sad that so many people seem to think that the only way to have a good time is to get “stupid” drunk.
I hear you about staying in. We did our grocery shopping already so we don’t need to go anywhere. 🙂
What a sweet kitty! We are not fans of fireworks either, which we’ve already had more than enough of and it’s not even the 4th yet! grrrrrrrrr
We’ve had a lot of fireworks here too. Saturday should be loud around here for hours. 🙂
The 4th of July should be a fun time, but it has turned into a drunken noise festival. Sad really, as we dread it every year. We do nothing but stay home and try not to be scared by all the stupid noise.
Beautiful little kitty!
It is indeed and it’s most comfortable too. 🙂
Goodness, that is one fantastic picture. You all have a great Fourth.
You do the same, Marg. 🙂
Sandee, surely you heard me squeal with jubilation at that adorable photo.
Happy 4th to you and Zane.
Hugs Cecilia
I’m happy about that. Happy fourth to you too, honey. Hugs. 🙂
Happy Independence Day! Ha ha ha…that is how I sleep. Yes, home is still the best.
I look at my hair in the mornings and wonder just how I slept. 🙂
Ahhh…the freedom to snooze at will! Great photo Sandee! Have a safe and peaceful Friday and holiday weekend! Hugs! 🙂 <3
We’re in for the weekend. Not planning on leaving until Monday and then it’s just to the post office. Hugs. 🙂
Relax like that kitten! Happy fourth of July, Sandee.
That’s what we’re doing this weekend. Happy 4th to you too. 🙂
Adorable kitten. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Good idea to stay home on the 4th- we do too. Booze and cars don’t go well either so we avoid the roads. Have a wonderful 4th! XO
You’re most welcome, Ellen. Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee happy Independence weekend and thank you for hosting this blog hop… Completely agree with you about #4 – it was a purrfect answer, but I never thought of it because I’ve never lived in just a house.
Purrseidon
Same to you, my friend. I’m happy you never lived in a house. Not fun. 🙂
That kitten is so adorable made me smile! We can’t tell our weekends from weekdays we do the same thing 365 days out of the year. And that’s not because of the virus that’s what we’ve always done. I only went to firework one time in my whole life and it’s when my kids who are now in their 50s were eight and 10 and that was the only time we went it was not worth the hassle. I would feel in dogs in the house make it a home and I agree about the love part 2
We are both retired too and often don’t have a clue what day it is. We like that. 🙂
Thank you for the Friday smile, my friend🤗((Hugs))
You’re most welcome, Michelle. Hugs. 🙂
Such a sweet kitty! Those were wonderful fill in answers.
Thank you, Brian. Have a great weekend. 🙂
Fireworks freak me out.
I hear you Kismet. Our Little Bit hated it too. 🙂
I resemble that pose!! HA. Cute kitties…but which ones aren’t?
I’ve never seen a kitty that wasn’t cute. 🙂
Cute pic of the kitty! I agree with your answers. Booze and boats and cars are not a good mix. I could care less about fireworks but I’m sure we will hear them in our neck of the woods. Happy Friday and have a great weekend.
There are so many idiots out on the water and drunk. We avoid that. Happy Friday. 🙂
Another day here in Covid land. That cat has the right idea.
You’re right about that. Yes the cat has the right idea. 🙂
What an adorable image. 🙂 I’m with you on staying home. I’m not likely to leave the house, or at least our yard, all weekend. Stay safe. ~hugs~
We’re not going anywhere until Monday. Hugs, Darla. 🙂
We bought a cupcake pinata and will be doing sparklers and a watermelon spitting contest this weekend. It’s 4th of July like when I was a kid 🙂
How fun. I know you’ll have a great time. 🙂
It’s been so hot, I feel a lot like that kitty–surrounding! Very cute. Have a wagnificent holiday weekend.
It’s warm here too. It’s summer and I live in a desert. 🙂
Me too. Mountain desert anyway where the heat and the altitude are a double whammy.
Awwww just want to rub that kitty’s tummy he’s so cute!
Happy Friday and have a wonderful 4th of July! <3
He’s so cute for sure. Happy Friday and 4th of July, my friend. 🙂
What a beautiful cat.
God bless.
So much for useing a new computer. It Got here last night but it had the wrong drive in it the monitor was too big for my computer cabinet and it nad no connector cable to connect the computer to the monitor. so I returned it to Best buy.
I’m sorry you’re having such issues, Mike. You’ll get them straightened out. 🙂
I’m just going to keep using this laptop (it even has a Name WACKYDOODLE2) until it gives up the ghost and go from there.
Awwdorable little kitty. Granny wants to squeeze it…MOL…Great answers on the fill ins, Sandee. Love is definetely what makes a house a home💗Pawkisses for a Wonderful Weekend🐾😽💞
I want to scratch it’s little tummy. Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend too. 🙂
It’s a same old, same old weekend for us too! We’re always happy to be home with our Luke. ♥
I’m taking a few extra hours off so hope to spend some time in my garden too!
I’m happy to be home too and when we had Little Bit we stayed home and kept her safe. 🙂
That cute little one is just begging for a tummy rub:)
It will be a quiet weekend here too as we all do our best to tend to sweet Misty.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It is indeed. POTP to Misty. 🙂
We are so lucky to live in a home full of love. I know the difference, and it’s really a huge one.
It’s a shame that celebrating for so many people includes drinking too much as well. Stay safe, and have a great weekend!
It is indeed. I’ve lived in a house and a home. Home is much better. You have a great weekend too, Viola. 🙂
That precious kitty is having a relaxing holiday!
I have some housework this weekend, but nothing earth shattering. 🙂
Happy Feline Friday!!! We just love this cute photo so much. We enjoyed your friendly fill-in answers and we are doing the same by staying home and being safe. Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend and hope the fireworks don’t scare you all too much this weekend.
We never go out on the three big holidays. Memorial day, 4th of July or Labor day weekends. Craziness abounds. 🙂
Kitty’s got the right idea! We’re staying home too. Happy Independence Day!
Happy Independence day to you too, Bette. 🙂
Someone has surrendered to a nap.
Yes and in the most adorable way. Happy weekend. 🙂
Those are all great answers. I’m one cat not scared of fireworks. Hope your weekend is quiet.
Most of our four legged babies don’t care for all the noise. You’re lucky it doesn’t bother you. 🙂
That is one cool cat.
Your answers to the fill-ins do not surprise me, either. The fact is, i cannot stand people drinking and driving (or boating), so i understand why you stay away from the water on big holiday weekends.
And i keep forgetting to add, Happy Independence Day!
We don not drink and drive, on the roads on on the water. It’s just the wrong thing to do. 🙂
I like your answers. And yep, our cat is already unhappy about the fireworks, so I’m not much of a fan either. Though I do think the displays (that I highly suspect, though I haven’t checked) won’t be going on this year, are awesome.
Here are mine:
My plans for the weekend include no technology weekend with the kiddo.
I like professional fireworks (and don’t like the ones you buy).
I’m grateful I have the freedom to make my own choices.
A deed make(s) a house a home (hahaha, I am still striving towards my goal. I’m closer today than I was yesterday). 🙂
I love your answers and the professional fireworks are wonderful. The rest are not. Yes on the freedom and you’ll get that house you want at some point. 🙂
That is such a cute kitten photo/ Those paws are precious. My day was rough, with a migraine headache but as it progressed I was able to feel better. Tonight is the only chance I had to completely finish my post. Happy INdependence Day to you in 2020. Take care and enjoy your weekend. HUGS xo
I’m glad you’re feeling better. We’re home and plan to stay in until Monday and then it’s to the post office to get our mail. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
I see a sleeping kitten or cat, and I just want to stroke their soft bellies!
Happy Independence Day!
Me too. Happy Independence Day. 🙂
Oh, that kitty is so precious! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I’m lucky in that my furbabies aren’t usually scared of fireworks. That being said, I know there are animals both inside and outside that are terrified of them, and that fact makes me hesitant to truly like fireworks. They’re especially scary when amateurs set them off, like my neighbor was doing in his yard last night. I hope you have a happy and safe Independence Day!
I don’t mind the professional ones but I think the around the neighborhood ones are awful. They do scare our babies. Our Little Bit hated them and would shake and shake until they were long over. 🙂
What a cute and adorable kitty. Great answers for Friendly Fill-Ins. Added a link.
Have a Happy and Safe July 4th.
Thanks, Crystal. You have a happy and safe 4th too. 🙂
Cats and kittens find the funniest ways to lay! I love finding Lily Bit in silly positions. Your answers are great.
Here are this weeks questions:
1. My plans for the weekend include doing NOTHING!.
2. I am not a big fan of fireworks.
3. I’m grateful I have the freedom to be on social media. .
4. family make(s) a house a home.
Thanks for playing along and I love all your answers too. Have a great Sunday. 🙂
What an adorable kitty, and what a good way to spend the Fourth. 🙂
Sandee, we hear you about the fireworks. People around here have been lighting them since May. Luckily, our cats are amazingly calm about them.
Hope you’re having a good and safe Independence Day!
It was a noisy night last night, but calm so that’s good. We stayed home so it was a peaceful day/weekend. 🙂
This lovely kitten makes me want to cuddle so much!
Dog’s News & Stories
Me too, Norman. 🙂
Happy belated Independence Day! 🙂
Pinot xo
Thank you so much. Happy Sunday. 🙂
Haha now it worked – but when i get it again i will let you know what it says.
I deleted a plugin that I think is the problem. We’ll see. Thanks for letting me know. 🙂
