Amen! I got the media to shut up by not listening and turning it off. They are freaking everybody out! Happy Friday friend. Sorry I have been gone this week, kids home, homeschooling and working from home is a pretty intense mixture.

  2. stevebethere says:

Aww! what lovely kittens heheh! 😺

I couldn’t agree with you more Sandee the media are doing my head in I steer clear of it completely at the moment 😠

Have a mediafreetastic weeknd and FFS 🙂

  3. Ann Thompson says:

    Aww, such cute kittens.
I don’t even enjoy scrolling through Facebook lately because all you see is stuff about the virus. I haven’t had to cancel anything but the jury duty I was supposed to have today was cancelled by them.

  4. My GBGV Life says:

Isn’t that the truth with the media. They are the ones creating this entire panic problems. We don’t watch the news anymore because we can’t stand listening to it! Stay safe and have a nice weekend.

  5. Linda Arthur Tejera says:

Hubby surprised me this morning by sharing a favorable report praising Trump by some CNN reporters. Got to be a first! Never thought I’d see that in my lifetime! Won’t bring me back to watching the news, though! Be safe and well!

  6. foguth says:

Meowser Ms. Sandee thank you for hosting this blog hop. I have the purrfect solution for getting the media to shut up – turn off the TV and radio! You can find peace and serenity in the garden.

    • Sandee says:

I’m getting it on Facebook. We don’t have television and I don’t listen to the radio, but Facebook. I guess I need to close Facebook. 🙂

  7. Cecilia Upchurch says:

Five furry fun felines….all make me smile.
I say Amen to each of your fill-ins
Wake (our county), Durham, and Orange Counties are called the Triangle We have 3 major universities and RTP, research triangle park) is home to hundreds of scientific companies. this morning the media said the following like it was an honor:
“The Triangle is the Epicenter of the virus in N.C.”
    Hugs Cecilia

  8. Sandra Hangey says:

Lately I have done a lot more housework, being confined I am huntiing for things to pass the time. I can’t help but wish my hubby could find something to do, he is bored to tears

  9. 15andmeowing says:

Such ginger cuteness, I would like to snatch all those kittens up. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers I am trying to avoid the news as it is too upsetting. We have canceled most things too, better safe than sorry. Have a nice weekend and stay healthy. XO

    • Sandee says:

We don’t have television, so that’s not a problem, but Facebook has it all. Just saying. Thanks for co-hosting the fun, Ellen. You and yours stay well. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I agree, Eugenia. Yesterday hubby and I took a ride around the area. We didn’t get out of our SUV, but it was nice to get out for a bit. 🙂

  10. Suzanne Gunter McClendon says:

    Those kitties are totally adorable!

I agree with you about the media! Yeah, the pandemic is bad, but the media is feeding the panic. They need to chill so that folks will hopefully stop panicking. The panic makes it worse for everyone all around. At this point, I think we’re more likely to be affected by no access to adequate food(due to people panic buying) than we are by the virus itself.

    Have a blessed weekend!

  11. Invisibly Me says:

Aww so little. I think the news can certainly be overwhelming of late. A little good news wouldn’t go amiss. Stay safe & well, Sandee. Hope you & hubby have a relaxing weekend xx

    • Sandee says:

Yes there is good news, but the media just doesn’t want to tell us about that. I guess bad news sells. You have a relaxing weekend too, Caz. 🙂

  12. Amy Aed says:

I can really relate to the ‘recently I have been doing a lot of cancelling things.’ I am a writer for a local magazine and I’ve had all of my events cancelled, and Ben Fogle was coming to Aberystwyth but had to cancel. It’s also looking like my graduation will be cancelled also.

I hope that you’re staying safe during this coronavirus outbreak, and are feeling well.

    Have a good weekend!

    Amy x Wandering Everywhere

    • Sandee says:

We are staying in Amy. Trying to make sure we’re not out and about and being part of the problem instead of the solution. You have a great weekend. 🙂

  13. Debbie D. says:

Sweet little kittens! 💗 Cancellations are the norm, now, unfortunately. 🙁 The news is always depressing, but it’s good to remain informed about latest developments. Stay well, Sandee!

    • Sandee says:

I got my nails done on Wednesday, but I doubt I’ll be able to get them done in two week. My haircut has already been cancelled. It’s all good. You stay well too, Debbie. 🙂

  14. Kathe W. says:

Lately, I have done a lot of time on the phone cancelling vacations.
My hopes are that this pandemic ends soon.
I can’t help but worry about folks that have to work instead of staying home.
When I meet a stranger, I always have kept my distance until I know them better
I love your orange kitties…..so adorable! Have a good weekend and stay healthy! xoxox

  15. A ShutterBug Explores says:

AUGHHHH! PLEASE LORD send us a cure so these people will shut up & so everyone can get back to their lives. My answers:
    1. Lately, I have done a lot of getting our taxes together & crocheting.
    2. My crocheting is getting better because they’re nothing else to do & Charlie loves his new play time with Daddy!
    3. I can’t help but wonder what the world is going to be like when my grandchildren’s world is going to be like & will they miss me when I die & what will it be like when I meet my maker! Hopefully my Lord will keep me upstairs & what it will be like.

    • Sandee says:

I love all your fill-ins. You’re a very outgoing person, Marie. All is well here and we’re staying in and waiting this virus out. Love you honey. 🙂

  17. violaetcetera says:

We had to cancel a photoshooting, it was our present to my mother on her 65th birthday last year and all of us had been looking forward to it… But better safe than sorry, I think 🙁
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  18. kittiesblue says:

Thanks for linking us up, Sandee. Cooper Murphy is happy you enjoyed his photo today. Whenever I post his photo, I think of you. As to your fill-ins, I think it is impossible to think about anything else right now besides this pandemic. Those kittens today could all be relatives of Cooper. Stay safe! Love and hugs, Janet

    • Sandee says:

You’re most welcome honey. We’re all so busy right now and often not thinking straight. I know I’m not. I love Cooper Murphy. Let him know. Big hug. 🙂

  19. Jan K says:

I’m afraid that’s one dream that will never come true!! All we can do is shut them off! I mostly stick to my local news, they are not like the national media.
Let’s hope all this settles down soon! Though we are not disrupted too much here yet, I look forward to things getting back to normal. I kind of now miss all the endless talk about the primary elections. LOL
Have a great weekend – Luke sends smooches!

    • Sandee says:

We aren’t affected much here too, but we’re staying in as it’s safer for us. We’re in our late 60s and early 70s. Tell Luke I love him. 🙂

  20. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

What gorgeous kittens! In case you didn’t realise, I have a big soft spot for ginger and whites! 🙂
I have been cancelling too, 2 cruises and hotels. I was lucky tough because the day I cancelled, Princess changed their cancellation policy and are refunding cancellation fees as future cruise credit.

    • Sandee says:

I’m happy your cancellations went well. I don’t think most folks are going to be unreasonable right now. I hope not. Happy weekend and be well. 🙂

  21. Rosey says:

I like your answer that you smile when you see a stranger!!

    Here’s mine:
    1. Lately, I have done a lot of visiting. We’re supposed to be self-quarantined and everyone who never comes over is coming over. It’s crazy!!
    2. My car mats are calling my name to vacuum them.
    3. I can’t help but worry about repercussions our nation will have due to the virus.
    4. When I meet a stranger, I hold my breath (even though I know that’s not a preventative measure). 🙂

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    • Sandee says:

We are all in a state of fear. Hubby and I are doing pretty good though. We know we can’t change much so we are heeding the things to do and hoping for the best. 🙂

  22. UP says:

Kitty Carlisle is apparently sheltiering in place. We’ve not seen her for two days. I’m sure she’ll come back!!

  23. angelswhisper2011 says:

What a sweet picture of the high five, Sandee and your answers are always great. The media is what we don’t need at all, only if they were honest enough about everything, but as they aren’t, we switch it off😸😸Pawkisses for a Happy Healthy Weekend🐾😽💞

  24. DrillerAA says:

Thankfully our pets don’t have to practice social distancing.

Lately, I have done a lot of de-cluttering the home office.
My personal projects are getting done…sort of.
I can’t help but pray for this nation and those charged with leading us out of this situation.
    When I meet a stranger, I smile.

    Have a blessed week-end.

  25. meowmeowmans says:

Those little kitties are adorable! Something to smile about in these trying times. 🙂

We live close to NYC, and New Rochelle, which is a hot zone, so we have to pay attention to the news. But you know what? We find checking it in the morning and then once at night is better for our emotional and psychological health. More than that and it becomes overwhelming.

Hugs to you, Sandee, Stay safe, and stay healthy!

    • Sandee says:

I hear you about the doom and gloom coming from the media. It’s awful. They are really spreading the fear. You stay safe and well, my friend. 🙂

  26. Marv says:

Such cute babies! We hope you and yours are all doing well during these trying times. We think of you often and have stopped by to see your pictured and read what people have said, it makes out hearts happy! Thanks Sandee!

  27. L.M.G. Miller says:

Those kitties are too cute for words! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I completely agree with your #2. The media often does far more harm than good. Well wishes!
