Athena will always eat her meat (as she’s a cat and need to) but I am vegan and I promise you not all veggie burgers are the same. It depends on the brand and there are many varieties of veggie burgers out there. So many recipes to make a veggie burger.

oh no, I bought Morningstar veggie burgers last Saturday, they are waiting for us try them in the freezer. we laugh at any and everything and especially our dog big Boy.
I hope they are okay. I’ve only had one good veggie burger and it’s been years ago. I have no idea what kind. 🙂

There’s no figuring out angry people. They are generally unhappy individuals who hate themselves and the world around them. The only way to fix that is for them to have a change of heart. All you can do is pray for these people. I laugh sometimes when I do stupid things and other times I get mad at myself. It sounds like I have a conflicted personality disorder but I don’t it just depends on the degree of stupid and what follows. Yes, please people be kind! No thank you, I’ll pass on veggie burgers. When I want a ‘burger’ it’s gonna be a hamburger all the way or nothing at all. 🙂 Thanks for hosting Feline Fridays and the kitty is a pretty one!
Yes they are unhappy and they want everyone else to be unhappy too. I’m not falling for that. No more veggie burgers for me either. Yuk. 🙂
So many people are angry. We think it is all the negativity in social media and on the news. People need to find positivity to be happy. Veggie burgers, no thank you. A burger is supposed to be meat, so if you don’t want meat eat veggies, but not as a fake meat item.
We’re having burgers tonight with real hamburger. I can’t wait. 🙂

Ms. Sandee, I’ve noticed those angry people, too. I know I”m only a cat, but have you also noticed that some individuals seem to be trying to create friction between people? They name call and accuse, which causes strong emotion. I Figure you know who Purrsident Trump is, so shall use him as an example – think how many lies have been told about him. He wasn’t called a racist until he won the election, then those who lost – and were angry – lashed out in anger… They are still doing in and in my furry little mind, this could be the anger than ignited the emotion. It also seems like their anger is based in fear – globalists/elitists have been infiltrating government to gain power and profit for decades – and they want to keep it, so they are angry that Purrsident Trump is stopping this.

I love tabbies, and this image captures the variety of colors in tabby fur…and those eyes!
A lot of people are frustrated, which translates into anger. We cannot stop pollution, disease, other countries abusing their citizens, but are bombarded with this day in and day out. Recycling my plastic bags just doesn’t seem to mean a damn thing, when the coral reefs are dying, and Antarctica is melting…and every government in the world isn’t addressing this global problem. Everyone only wants what’s in it if them, it appears. That make anger.
I enjoy veggie burgers, but prefer falafel sandwiches so much more. Then again, I’m vegan, and eat a plate of grilled cauliflower and like it! 😉

Aw shame about the veggie burgers. Were they the ‘fake meat’ ones or the plant-based variety? I quite like Quorn chicken (so fake chicken). I’ve not tried plant-based meat alternatives but I can’t say they look very appealing!

These were awful. I knew by the smell we were in trouble. It was 5 minutes in a 400 degree oven and then turn over for another 5 minutes. When they came out of the oven they were cold. 🙂

they kitty is darling, and as for veggie burgers…some are bad, some aren’t. If you try the well-known brands and go for seasoned ones they are actually quite good!

Laughing at your reaction to a veggie burger. The thing I don’t get is why call it a burger? Why not give it a different name and be proud that it’s not a meat instead of claiming to be an imitation of a meat? I feel that way about all the veggie meats. Just be what you are, make a new name for yourself (and any sandwiches and dishes) so that people don’t bring expectations of something else to the plate. Just call it a tofu sandwich or a a tofuer or make something up. Some people like tofu. The thing with tofu is that it takes on the flavors of the things around it — so in most things, it is all about the sauce usually. The patties made from different kinds of beans have a more distinctive flavor. I like veggie patties but they are definitely not a burger. I also like a good burger or a fried chicken sandwich — I’m like a bear, I’ll eat anything. well, not bees. I won’t eat bees so I’m not quite like a bear — I draw the line at insects.
I hear you. They even make the outside of the box look like a burger. When you cook that hockey puck it sure doesn’t look like a burger. Oh well, hubby tossed them and we were happy. Tonight he’s grilling up two burgers and we’ll have them with a nice salad. Life is good. 🙂

You are so right about some people being so angry. Some guy on the highway was honking his horn this afternoon like it was going out of style. In bumper to bumper traffic. No one could really go anywhere, and it made us feel kind of bad that someone would get so bent out of shape over something out of their control. Anyway.
