Mommy makes sure she’s kissing each of us at midnight on New years. She says an old wives tale says whatever you’re doin’ as the clock strikes midnight shapes the next year. She says it’s bull, but she luvs us and it’s an excuse to kiss us more. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
What a wonderful thing for mommy to do. She loves you and so does Auntie Sandee. Big hugs back. 🙂
Kitty sleeping soundly like a baby! We all need kindness, in giving and in receiving. Enjoy your boating without any restriction.
Kindness is so needed here. So needed. 🙂
Aww, what a sweet picture.
I don’t celebrate New Years either. I’ll be asleep long before the ball drops.
We go to bed the same time almost every night. New Year’s Eve won’t be any different. 🙂
Cute pic!
We don’t celebrate either.
I didn’t celebrate when I was young. Just never appealed to me to go out and get drunk. 🙂
That precious kitty makes my heart sing!!
I love the black pads.
WE don’t celebrate New Year’s either. We stay tucked safely in our hours away from the maddening crowds
Hugs Cecilia
We do the same each year. We stay off the roads and enjoy each others company. 🙂
Aww! sooo comfy and cute heheh!
I liked your replies especially 1 and 3 🙂
Have a tinsellesstastic FFS 🙂
Thanks, Steve. You have a great day and weekend too and thanks for being such a loyal participant in the Feline Friday Blog Hop. 🙂
Mom doesn’t celebrate New Years either. We go to bed at the usual time and just wake up to the new year. Have a great weekend!
Yes that’s what we do here too. No hangover and we feel great the first day of the new year. 🙂
I love this picture! So sweet
Need to start off the weekend with sweet. 🙂
Absolutely!
What a sweet kitty. 🙂
I think the spring wildflowers is one of the best parts of a New Year, too! Spring often comes fairly early in these parts. Those flowers started blooming in February one year. I was very happy about that.
I hope you get lots of non-yacht club boating time and have a great time.
Have a blessed weekend and a very happy New Year, my friend!
Such a cute kitten. I love it when the kitties do that. Sandee, you and Zane have a great day and a very Happy New Year.
Me too. They are so precious. You have a great day and weekend, Marg. 🙂
That wee kitty is so cute and I feel like doing that today too! We enjoyed your answers!!!
You enjoy your naps and your siblings and peeps. Thanks for playing along. 🙂
Oh Sandee that baby is so cute! I just want to lay down and go to sleep with it! 😀
Super cute kitten! I like your word for the year, heaven knows the world can use more kindness – here’s wishing everyone chooses that word for 2020.
Yes we could all use more kindness. I too hope everyone chooses kindness for 2020.
Thank you for hosting Feline Friday . Such a cute kitten. And thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers Kindness is a word we all need. Have a wonderful weekend! XO
Thank you for co-hosting the fun, Ellen. I look forward to the fill-ins each week. 🙂
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks celebrating on New Year’s eve is pointless
You’re not alone. We won’t even leave the house. To many drunks out there. 🙂
That’s one happy cat. Must have had a good Christmas.
Cats are good at sleeping. Very good. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee. We don’t do silly stuff on New Year’s Eve, either. Have a purrfect Feline Friday and wonderful weekend.
Purrseidon
PS Thank you for hosting this blog hop.
You’re most welcome for the hosting. Thank you for playing along each week. Happy weekend, my friend. 🙂
The kitten is just too cute. We can’t help but think “Hands up and nobuddy gets hurt”☺ We don’t do anything special for New Year’s Eve or day either. It’s just another day to us.
Yes and we enjoy just being with each other. That’s the most important part. 🙂
My focus is on forgetting a very tough, unforgiving 2019 on several fronts.
I hope 2020 is a better year for you, Mike. 🙂
Aww, sweet sleeping kitty! We usually go out for early cocktails and then go home for the bewitching hour! Otherwise, New Years is just another day – same goals as last year!? LOL
Works for me. I like how you do your new year’s eve. 🙂
Back in my prime decade, the 1990’s, we went to a comedy club on New Year’s Eve several times. After enjoying the comedians and a countdown celebration, we feasted from a breakfast style buffet. It was fun but unimaginable now, for multiple reasons besides our ages. Even before SJW’s ruined comedy routines we grew distasteful of politics injected by the likes of Christopher Titus, who used to be hilarious. Be well!
I hear you. Politics and religion don’t need to be in a comedy routine. I agree with you. That would be a fun way to bring in the new year. 🙂
Nobody relaxes quite like a cat.
May you have boating opportunities galore in the new year!
We already have figured out lots of cruises we’re going to take. Just the two of us. Heaven. 🙂
Purr-fect Kitty! May love and kindness wash across the world in 2020… Happy New Year, Sandee! xo
I agree with the love and kindness washing across the world in 2020. Happy New Year to you too, Bette. 🙂
Have a super Friday and an even better weekend.
You do the same my friend. 🙂
That is a sweet picture. I am late adding the hop to my post this week as we have been away for Christmas and not long been back home.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas.
You’re not late one bit. It’s open for 48 hours and you’re well within that time frame. Thanks for joining the fun. 🙂
We don’t celebrate new year’s either. I can’t even remember the last time we did anything special for it! I think my focus word for the new year needs to be “focus” – LOL!
I can’t remember the last time I stayed up until midnight either. It’s been years and years. 🙂
I think that forever cats have liked their tummy rubbed. This sweet one sure is hinting.
this weeks questions:
1. On New Year’s Eve, I like staying up until midnight and then I watch the NYC Times Square Ball drop_____.
2. My focus word for 2020 is __I haven’t chosen one________.
3. _Celebrating Mrs. Jim’s birthday is the best thing about starting a new year.
4. My personal goals for 2020 include ___staying alive until 2021_____.
Do you really want to leave your yatch club memership? When we moved and sold our house on the golf course we saving $480+ a month in club dues. Plus an annual assessment.
Thanks for playing along, Jim. Yes we are no longer interested in organized boating. We knew that last July. When we left that weekend we knew we were done. 🙂
Awww such a relaxed little cutie kitty!
Good answer for the new year meaning it will be that much closer to spring. 🙂
Yes indeed and I’m ready for spring. The sun is shining today, but it’s cold. 🙂
Spreading kindness is a wonderful thing to do in the new year. I can’t wait for spring as well, but at least the days are slowly getting longer!
Have a great 2020!
Yes it is and I’m ready for the longer days too. Okay and warm weather. You have a great 2020 too, Viola. 🙂
Wow! What a sweet kittie and so beautiful ~ love the pose ~ Happy New Year to you both and great fillins ~ I try to live well in the moment and New Years’s Eve I leave to the amateurs ~ LOL ~ Will cozy, safe and warm with my fur person ~
Xox to you from me and Zoe ^_^
Happy Moments to You,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka ( A Creative Harbor)
Amateurs is so very right. It’s always been that way. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
What a cutie!! Enjoy your weekend!!
You enjoy your weekend too. 🙂
Kittens and cats sleeping on their backs like that is one of the cutest things cats do. Thank you for linking us up. I may need to get help from Kitties Blue to do the fill-ins this week. I’m coming up dry. Have a really terrific weekend. Love and hugs, Janet
It is indeed. Kitties are the very best. You have a terrific weekend too. Love and hugs back, my friend. 🙂
Someone has given up
Dreaming of chasing mice and having extra treats. 🙂
On New Year’s Eve, I will try to stay up until midnight to say Happy New Year’s (we rarely make it, even when we try).
My focus word for 2020 is happy (if we are as happy in 2020 as we were in 2019, we’re set!).
The ‘anything is possible’ feel in the air is the best thing about starting a new year.
My personal goals for 2020 include saving for a house (still) and possibly finding a better paying job that I love as much as teaching (so the saving will go quicker). 😉
I liked your answers and look forward to hearing how you like sailing without the membership, as the year moves forward. Happy New Year!
Thanks for playing along. I hope you get a new home and soon. Happy weekend. 🙂
Aww that is one contented little kittykat!
I love your word for the year. I’ve been thinking about kindness a lot the last few days and wondering why some people choose not to be kind, when kindness is free and is surely far easier than being mean or ignorant? A little kindness goes a long way.
I hope you manage plenty of boating and all when you want, as you want, without the club. When are you hoping to do your first trip? I’m sure it’ll be something to look forward to 😊
Caz xx
I don’t know, but many seem so angry anymore. About what I just don’t know. We’ll do fine without organized boating. We’ve not been happy with our club for some years. 🙂
Funny, I start every Winter wishing for Spring!
Me too. I don’t care for winter one bit. 🙂
So cute sleeping <3
It’s about the only time they are truly innocent. 🙂
I love a sleeping kitten! My kitty wants my New Year’s resolution to include giving him everything he wants, the minute he wants it.
That’s the way kitties roll. I’m sure you do most everything your kitty wants. 🙂
Oh my gosh….kittens and cats are so adorable when they sleep. That one above is great. Its always neat to see your answers. Here are mine~
1. On New Year’s Eve, I will be chilling with my furs.
2. My focus word for 2020 is strength.
3. ____New ideas and thoughts is the best thing about starting a new year.
4. My personal goals for 2020 include ___finding who I was a yr ago_____.
Thanks for playing along, Pam. Love the way you’re going to ring in the new year. Perfect. 🙂
That kitty is doing what we usually do to ring in the new year. Ha ha. Thank you for hosting, Sandee. And happy new year!
It’s what we do too. Works for us. 🙂
LOVE your focus word for 2020!!!! LOVE IT! Thank you for including us!!! xoxo
You’re most welcome and we can use all the kindness we can get. 🙂
