Beautiful cat!
Thank you, Athena and Marie. 🙂
That lovely cat is heading for food heheh!
Your replies have made my mouth water Sandee how very dare you LOL 😉
Have a pumpkinpietastic FFS 🙂
You’re probably right, Steve. You can come over and enjoy dinner with us. Just saying. 🙂
Sweet cat. Reminds me of one I had years ago.
I love mashed potatoes and gravy. That’s the ultimate comfort food in my book.
I was talking to a lady yesterday at work who said she’s makign lasagna for thanksgiving.
I agree about the potatoes and gravy. Macaroni and cheese too. I like that a lot. Lasagna is a good thing for Christmas dinner. 🙂
What a beautiful photo of the kitty and the autumn leaves! Mom can’t wait to sink her teeth into the stuffing!
I make stuffing throughout the year. Hubby loves it and when he’s asks I just make it for him. It’s good for sure. 🙂
Sweet kittykat, love the autumnal, golden glow.
Mmm I love mashed potatoes! Not long until Thanksgiving for you guys in the US now. Next Thursday, right? 😊
Happy Friday! xx
I love mashed potatoes too and don’t have them very often. Makes them even better. Yes, next Thursday is Thanksgiving in the U.S. Happy Friday to you too, Caz. 🙂
Really beautiful Autumn background with cute kitty! 😀 The link to enter the link to our post is missing. Are you not using that anymore Sandee? Have a happy weekend! <3
I think the linkies are having some issues. Yesterday Brian’s Home had trouble and now I am. I linked you, Deborah. 🙂
Thanks Sandee! 😀
Filet mignon sounds wonderful!
It is. It’s the second time we’ve had Filet Mignon for Thanksgiving. 🙂
Great fall photo. Mom loves turkey and stuffing. Steak is even better, but she wants her turkey on Thanksgiving and she would skip every other food for that and stuffing. Enjoy your feast.
We all have the things we love for dinner on Thanksgiving. It’s all good and I hope everyone has what they want. 🙂
What a great picture. Filet Mignon sounds perfect to us. You all have a super Friday.
It’s pretty good. I don’t each much meat anymore, but a few bites with my mashed potatoes and gravy is pretty good. Wish we could have Thanksgiving together. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee… I’ve never tried ice cream with my pumpkin pie, but I think I would love it. For certain, I purrfer the idea of eating cow over fowl…. Hopefully, I never meet an actual cow so that idea doesn’t need to be reevaluated …. most chickens – at least the ones I’ve met are very nice and I don’t imagine turkeys are much different, except in size.
Purrseidon
It’s really good. I can do whipped cream, but ice cream is much better. I was raised on a farm so we raised our own meat. Just the way of life for farmers. 🙂
I love your picture and I love the whole idea of this post! I hope you don’t mind that I joined in! https:forbiddenbromance.com/2019/11/22/comedy-plus-feline-friday/
Thanks for joining in on the fun. You’re most welcome. We do four different memes each week. 🙂
That is a pretty kitty. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I wish we were having filet mignon instead of turkey. I do like the potatoes though 🙂 And I hope youget that pumpkin pie and ice cream. Have a nice weekend! XO
I hope I get the pumpkin pie too, but it’s not looking good. Oh well. You have a nice weekend too, Ellen. 🙂
That cat was sure pretty in front of those leaves – very pretty.
I thought so too. I love all the autumn colors and I love kitties too. 🙂
Such a cute little tabby kitty! We enjoyed your answers but now we’re hungry!
Good, I like doing that. I hope you get your blog issues worked out. 🙂
That’s a good fill in! Love the kitty picture too!
Thank you so much. Scritches to the kitty. 🙂
Cute kitty photo. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Nancy. It’s a nice time of year. 🙂
I can’t wait to sink my teeth into anything I don’t try to cook on Thanksgiving.
I will pass on anything my pet rocks try to cook on Thanksgiving.
I wish rhubarb pie was served at holiday gatherings.
I will always be thankful for the telephone to call for delivery.
I hear you Mike. We don’t want to work hard during the holidays anymore. Easy for us and pizza would work for us. Just saying. 🙂
There must be a gazillion cats that look like that and they are all gorgeous.
Yes they are and I’ve had more than one during my lifetime. 🙂
I truly love all cats, but tabby cats just make me SQUEE!!!
Me too. Cats rock and then some. 🙂
Right now not enough time for blogging- but I have at least enough time to comment! xoxo Happy days to you and Zane!
1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into a Turkey wing! on Thanksgiving.
2. I will pass on jello salad on Thanksgiving.
3. I wish a big green salad was served at holiday gatherings.
4. I will always be thankful for friends and family .
Not a problem, Kathe. We do what we have to do. Thanks for playing along. I love your #4. 🙂
Beautiful photo! That gorgeous feline is stalking something. Great answers! Turkey or filet mignon is okay with me. Pumpkin pie with ice cream – yes!
Felines are always stalking something. I want pumpkin pie and vanilla ice cream for sure. I want some right now. 🙂
Me too! 😋
No turkey? Oh no! Maybe you can have some later.
We aren’t fans of chicken or turkey. Just the way it is. 🙂
Well, isn’t that a spunky little feline! Adorable. I like both filet mignon and turkey. Let’s have both!! Because you can’t make gravy very well with filet mignon drippings. 🙂
Okay, you come over and we’ll have both. We just get brown gravy in the bottle. Works for us. 🙂
We already had dinner, but after reading your post, I am hungry again 🙂 Ice cream always is wonderful!
Yes, ice cream is a wonderful thing to have and often. Happy Friday and weekend, Viola. 🙂
What a cute kitty strutting along there!!!
We are excited for TURKEY, and maybe a little dollop of mashed potatoes on the side – Mom says NO gravy for us:(
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We don’t care much for turkey. Hubby loves ham, and me not so much. We decided that Filet Mignon would work. I only eat a few bites, but I can get into the veggies and the potatoes and gravy. Okay the garlic bread too. 🙂
I love my mashed potatoes mixed with mashed turnip, a family tradition. This year I’m baking Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes (new recipe I found and fell in love with). Happy Thanksgiving, Sandee!
I’m coming over for the cupcakes. I love all things pumpkin. Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Bette. 🙂
You’ll love them! 🙂
What a huge tail on that wee kitty! Sweet picture. Your answers make me wish we had Thangsgiving again this year.
Jean
Come on down Jean and you can enjoy it with us. 🙂
Lovely cat, and the sun on the autumn leaves make a beautiful background.I am with you on the turkey, Filet Mignon sounds much better.
Yes it sure does. I love this time of year. 🙂
a stray has adopted us. she comes UP and drinks the milk I put out for her and lets me rub her neck. she has to be someone’s pet, but we don’t know who! she’s a cutie.
They pick where they want to live. It’s the way of cats. 🙂
LOVE your filet mignon idea!!! Love it! Come to my house, I will get you all the pumpkin pie and vanilla ice cream you could EVER want! xoxo
We’ve not had traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas for a long time. Our way is far easier and much more fun. 🙂
That’s a pretty cat, and since pumpkin pie is everywhere this time of year, just add vanilla ice cream to yours.
I’ve not seen one piece of pumpkin pie. Not a sliver. 🙂
Thank you for linking the boys up to the hop. They send you kitty kisses. I feel exactly as you do, very thankful for my husband, and I am excited for Pumpkin pie. Have a great weekend. Love and hugs, Janet
It’s going to be a wonderful weekend. We’re home and it’s warm. We’re happy about that. Love and hugs. Scritches to the kitties. 🙂
Whoa! I never had that Filet Mignon. I can’t even pronouciate it. I’ll have to ax TW about that. Cute kitty. Have a good weekend.
It’s the best steak ever. Cut it with a fork. You have a good weekend too. 🙂
She is sooo cute!!! She reminds me of a Bible verse (Eph 5:15) “See then that ye walk circumspectly…”
🙂
this weeks questions:
1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into _Corn Bread Turkey Dressing__ on Thanksgiving.
2. I will pass on Duck on Thanksgiving.
3. I wish _Fried Catfish__ was served at holiday gatherings.
4. I will always be thankful for _The Pilgrims coming to America___.
🙂
You and your Hub have a Happy Thanksgiving. We may not turkey for Thanksgiving, Mrs. Jim and I plan to eat at our local La Madeleine restaurant.
..
Fried catfish. Yummy. It’s been years since we’ve had fried catfish. I don’t care about having the traditional meal anymore. It’s whatever we want that’s the ticket. Thanks for playing along. 🙂
That kitty looks like he is ready to ride the rails.
I think you’re right. Have a great weekend. 🙂
Cute kitty pic and lovely Fall background. And I’m definitely ready for some yummy Thanksgiving food! And now I’m considering buying some ice cream to go along with any pies we might have 🙂
I like ice cream on my pie rather than whipped cream. Okay, I’ll admit I love ice cream. 🙂
Almost Thanksgiving there. We don’t celebrate that in Australia. Love the cute kitty and it reminds me of the one my daughter is babysitting for 2 weeks. While chatting to her online a couple of hours ago, she was setting up her Christmas tree and the kitten was just having a ball climbing the tree and jumping from it. I had a good laugh 🙂 🙂
Kitties and Christmas trees are fun to watch. I would have enjoyed that too. Have a great weekend, 🙂
I love the Autumn colors! I also love filet mignon 🙂 We will be having fried turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
Will you be watching the parades? I’m not sure. I know later on there will be football. 🏈🍂🍂🦃🤗 ((Hugs))
I love autumn colors too. Pretty soon they will be gone and there will just be the gloomy colors of winter. Big hug. 🙂
Wow, an autumn hued kitty! Pawsome.
Out for a stroll. I thought is was a most autumn like photograph. 🙂
It sure was. What a cutie!
We actually have steak more often than turkey, so I really look forward to the turkey and stuffing. My hubby is a meat cutter, so that’s why we often get very nice steaks!
Oh, and I want that kitty. Tabbies have always been my favorite (I think you’d call that a tabby, though we used to call them “tiger cats”. We had three at one time.)
We aren’t much for fowl at all. I don’t know what they do to them anymore, but they don’t taste the same. Happy weekend. 🙂
Oh, I understand and don’t blame you one bit for that! I feel that way about chicken for sure,. We’ve discussed raising our own meat birds, but I know I wouldn’t have the heart to cook them for dinner! Plus I don’t like the way they’ve bred them; they have no quality of life. I haven’t given it up completely, but only because I worry about eating too much red meat. I’d buy from a local farm if we could afford it.
I’m with you mash potatoes and gravy! What a creative photo with that sweet kitty sauntering ^_^
Xox to you from me and Ms. Z ^_^
Happy Day to You,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I’m having a lot of potatoes and gravy next Thursday. I’ve not had potatoes and gravy in months and months. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
That little cat looks like it’s on a mission. And what a beautiful Fall photo! 🙂
I think mash potatoes and gravy, and pumkin pie and ice cream are my faves, too.
Happy weekend, Sandee!
Most cats are on a mission. It’s what makes them cats. Happy week. 🙂
Lovely pic, sorry we’re late! Happy Sunday! XOX
You’re never late. No pressure here. Have a great day and week. 🙂
Hi Sandee! Happy Thanksgiving!
The perfect look for strutting his/her stuff on the fence. I own this land, lolol. Classic cat attitude. Adorable too.
I like your answer for pumpkin pie and ice cream. Yum. Here’s mine:
1. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the side dishes (my fave!) on Thanksgiving.
2. I will pass on turkey on Thanksgiving (the only vegetarian in the family is me).
3. I wish (n/a we have everything we need and more on that table, hurrah!) was served at holiday gatherings.
4. I will always be thankful for my children and their children too.
Thanks for playing along, Rosey. Love all your answers too. Especially #4. 🙂
Pretty kitty! Happy Thanksgiving, and enjoy your filets. Yum. Hugs to you, my dear, and have a lovely day.
We are going to enjoy our dinner for sure. The best part is that we’re together. Big hug back. 🙂
Sandee,
I’m thankful as well for my wonderful husband. We are definitely blessed, aren’t we? You eat the beef, I’ll eat the turkey. 🙂 Not that I don’t like a good steak but I can’t pass on turkey for the holidays. 🙂
Yes we are, Cathy. We both got lucky with our hubbies. 🙂
What a beautiful kitty in such a beautiful setting! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Mmmm. Mashed potatoes are always a favorite around here, too. And I bet they’ll go deliciously with the filet mignon. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving!
I can’t wait for mash potatoes and gravy. I don’t get them very often. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
