    Lovely kitty with mesmerising eyes.
I made pumpkin pie once but didn’t like it. I thought it might have been the way I made it, so when we were out one day I had a slice of homemade pie in a cafe. I still didn’t like it!

  2. Ann Thompson says:

Pumpkin pie is tasty. My daughter hates all things pumpkin. I wonder if she’s really mine….lol
I think if I was going to a Halloween party I would go as a witch.
My Christmas shopping will be minimal but I doubt it will be done before Black Friday. Good for you.

    • Sandee says:

I can’t imagine not liking pumpkin. I just can’t. We don’t do a lot of shopping either. Mainly for the great grands. 🙂

  3. stevebethere says:

My mom Christmas and birthday shops 365 days a year. When she sees something someone would love, she gets it. Mom isn’t into the last minute rush gift buying. Hope your shopping is done early too.

  5. 15andmeowing says:

  6. foguth says:

Meowser Ms. Sandee, if we weren’t on opposite coasts, we could attend a royal Halloween party together and eat pumpkin pie…. hopefully with whipped cream.
Thank you for hosting this hop.

Gorgeous kitty! Just want to pet this one!
    Happy Feline Friday. <3

Oh pumpkin pie is my favorite!
At a Halloween party I’d probably go as a ghost or a witch. 🙂

  8. -Eugenia says:

Such a beautiful kitty! Pumpkin anything is tasty. If I was going to a Halloween party, I would go as a sorceress. If everything goes according to plan, I will spend Halloween in Blue Ridge, Ga. Being lost at sea for 3 days is the spookiest thing I have ever experienced (true story – 1980 – left Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and found 3 days later off the coast of New Smyrna Beach, Fl). Have a great day and a fantastic weekend.

  9. Cube says:

Beautiful Calico kitty. They tend to be energetic cats.

I noticed that you wrote about “The Shining” being spooky. I just got “Doctor Sleep,” the sequel. I’ll let you know if it lives up to its promise of being even scarier.

  10. Deziz World says:

I like this picture. The cat shows patience, waiting and watching. Ideally it would be sitting in front of a window hoping a bird or a friend might come by. 🙂

Since I have cut back on my posting lately, I don’t always remember to stop by here on Firdays. I’ll try to do better in the future. Have a blessed week my blogging friend.

  14. Invisibly Me says:

I had pumpkin pie years ago when I worked in Indianapolis for 6 weeks, had it over Thanksgiving. Sadly, can’t say I was a fan! It certainly seems incredibly popular in the US, though it’s rarely eaten in the UK. Have a lovely weekend 😊xxxx

    • Sandee says:

I was raised on pumpkin pie so it was just part of holiday desserts. It’s not for everyone. You have a lovely weekend too. 🙂

  15. Pam says:

I love my little feline. She makes me laugh and smile.
    Here are this weeks questions:

    1. Pumpkin pie is tasty.

    3. If everything goes according to plan, I’ll have all my Christmas shopping done before Black Friday.
    4. The Shining is the spookiest thing I have ever experienced.

OH I love pumpkin pie. A princess, I see that. My fall back has always been a clown or witch. YAY…for you. I have done a little for my daughter but most all will be getting gift cards. SHINING….that is scary.

    • Sandee says:

Thanks for joining in on the fun, Pam. I love your answers too. I love Lily as well. She is a keeper. Happy weekend. 🙂

  16. darlamsands says:

What a lovely, happy looking kitty! Jack Nicholson was brilliant in that movie. ~shudders~ Steven King didn’t care for the end result, feeling it focused too much on the supernatural haunting over familial dysfunction. He brought a version of “The Shining” to broadcast television years ago. It had little of the same impact, though, sad to say. Be well!

  17. theKittyCatEnthusiast says:

    Cute picture 🙂
It’s funny, I can’t say I really ate a lot of pie growing up and even nowadays. It’s not that I don’t like them (indeed I love them!) but my family just always tended to cook and eat sweet potato pies rather than pumpkin pies.

  18. meowmeowmans says:

Such a beautiful kitty! And yes about pumpkin pie, Sandee. We sure do love it, too. Hope you’re having a great weekend, my friend!

  19. MNL says:

    Lovely calico!

    Chocolate is tasty.
If I was going to a Halloween party, I would go as a medeival lady — someone made me a gorgeous dress in my twenties in velveteen and satin and had these amazing sleeves with those daggets.
If everything goes according to plan, must be somebody else’s plan, lol.
Jaws is the spookiest thing I have ever experienced. I had nightmares for at least a week.

      • MNL says:

I haven’t seen it lately. You are probably right. I may watch it … thinks about it …. maybe not. lol, I prefer comedies like Turner & Hooch. It’s one of my favorite movies.

  20. Rose A (@mail4rosey) says:

Definitely a beauty cat. My son LOVES pumpkin pie!!

    High quality chocolate is tasty.
If I was going to a Halloween party, I would go as a dog.
If everything goes according to plan, we will not have to sign another lease in this condo 😉 .
Divorce is the spookiest thing I have ever experienced.

  21. messymimi's meanderings says:

Congratulations on being an early shopper, it’s a smart way to do it. As for costumes, yes, i have what i call my janitor outfit, it includes an apron and loops on my pants for holding bottles and pockets for cleaning cloths and everything.

    Lovely cat!

  22. L.M.G. Miller says:

What a beautiful kitty! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I’m so glad we’ve finally reached pumpkin pie season. Mmmmm. And I think I might also be able to finish my Christmas shopping by Black Friday. It’s so nice to finish shopping early, so that you can relax and enjoy the rest of the season. I hope your week is wonderful!

    • Sandee says:

And thank you for co-hosting the fun. We had a wonderful weekend out on the boat. The weather was perfect. It will soon turn cold, but last weekend was perfect. 🙂

  23. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

Can we skip Christmas shopping? I really haven’t begun to think about THAT just yet and I guess I really need to get on the stick before it sneaks up on me. We’ll be doing another vacation starting Thanksgiving and it’ll be a two week stint, so we might do some of it at that time. Oh, it’ll be online purchases because I really don’t want to get mixed up in busy stores during the holiday shopping season. That’s too crazy for me! Mmm, I love pumpkin pie! The Shining was a weird movie, I thought. Jack Nicholson did a great job in it, though. That hotel is amazing looking and I’d love to visit it someday. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I don’t do much. Money for the folks that take care of us all year. Haircuts, nails and toes, my dental hygienist. Then money to the grands and whatever the greats need. Not all that much. 🙂
