6 months waiting at red lights? I bet it's way more if you live in Atlanta!!
Have a terrific Tuesday! big hugs x0x0
It's a long time isn't it. Yikes. 🙂
What interesting and sometimes surprising facts!
Yes indeed Jean. 🙂
I did know that about sneezing. It's why I hate to sneeze and drive 😉 😀 Have a great day!
I agree, it's almost impossible to drive while having a sneezing fit. 🙂
I did not know a single one of these. But now the image of crocodiles trying to taunt each other by trying to stick their tongues out is making me laugh. (One of my kids has an attached tongue and can't stick his tongue out either, and the other kids will sometimes mess with him, sticking their tongues out at him. (So there is a reason this image is in my head.)) 🙂
Have a lovely day!
You find the humor in everything and I really like that about you. 🙂
Those are some mighty interesting facts about life. I am going to have to try sneezing with my eyes open. Cats do have many different sounds.
Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a fantastic and fun day.
Good luck keep those eyes open Marg. 🙂
amazingly I did not know a lot of these! Thanks!
I didn't know most of these. 🙂
That fact about sneezing i have used to my advantage. There have been times when i really needed not to sneeze, and prying my eye open and keeping it that way suppressed the sneeze. It's not pleasant, but it works.
As long as it works. I have fits of sneezing at times. The first couple aren't bad, but when you get to 10 and above that's enough. 🙂
My goldfish cold remember up to 8 seconds. He was in goldfish MENSA.
Of course he was. 🙂
Our world is crazy but interesting. Have a very intelligent Tuesday Sandee. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Crazy but interesting is a good thing Paul. 🙂
There are so many things I didn't know, thank you for sharing all these amazing facts.
You're most welcome Nancy. 🙂
Almonds are a member of the peach family??? Seriously? Now that I think of it, their pit in the middle looks like a GIANT ALMOND! Wow!!!!! xoxo
I didn't know this one either. 🙂
Whoever compiled this list obviously has never driven from Anderson to Redding on highway 273 in the past couple of years.
One could spend six month just at the intersection of Bonnyview Road.
I've never taken that route either. That's some long, long light. 🙂
Well I knew all these facts…..just joking LOL some of these are quite interesting 🙂
Have a factbasetastic day Sandee :-h
You're smarter than the average bear though. 🙂
amazing facts.
have a great day!
You have a great day too. 🙂
It seems like I've spent more than 6 months waiting for traffic lights to turn green. They see me coming and turn red just before I get there.
You too? I thought that just happen to me. 🙂
It was sooooo bad that I moved to a place with no traffic lights.
We don't have any traffic lights where I live either. 🙂
I knew two of these. I knew about the "jiffy". I used the jiffy clock on a Commodore 64 to generate random numbers for games. Also peaches and almonds I knew about. Hersey would buy my uncles peach pits each year to put into their chocolate with almond bars. some of those almonds would be peach pits. Couldn't tell the difference could you.
No, I couldn't tell the difference. 🙂
I knew about peaches. A few of those are fun. I thought jiffy was peanut butter. Lol!
Jiffy is peanut butter too. 🙂
Megan excited taught me about th e butterfly tasting with their feet. They had a special presenter at her preschool a few weeks ago. She's a wealth of knowledge about them now. 🙂
She's a smart one that Megan. 🙂
It's funny that I would read about the goldfish today. I saw a story on Morning Express on Headline News this morning which read that recent studies show goldfish have an attention span of 9 seconds and humans one of 8 seconds. This is true. They asked the goldfish 😉
The rest of the fun facts were fabulous fun.
Bwahahahahahaha. You crack me up. 🙂
If I was a butterfly I'd be extra careful not to step in dog doody
Good plan Tony. A really good plan. 🙂
Dear Sandee, These are remarkable facts and interesting too.
Have a great day my dear. xo Catherine
It's things that you could live without knowing too. Have a great day too my friend. 🙂
Fun facts!! I think the goldfish one was debunked, tho…. The goldfish in our tank remember what the food cup looks like and get excited if they see it near the tank.
Yes, but for how many seconds? 🙂
Sounds like the Ostrich and our politicians have a lot in common!
Yep, they do don't they. 🙁
I didn't know any of this! And I probably won't remember any of it an hour from now. I can't seem to retain stuff like this anymore!
And you shouldn't clog your mind up with stuff that really doesn't matter. 🙂
"A cat has 32 muscles in each ear."? All I can say is, I’m grateful I’m not a dragonfly, and now I know I’m a goldfish. 😉 This is a fun post!
I hope you're having a super terrific day! :)))
xoxox
Thanks honey. You have a super terrific day too. 🙂
I see I have something in common with a goldfish 🙂
Me too Ann, me too. 🙂
If a dragonfly has only 24 hours, wonder why they always waste time flying around me? They give me the eebie jeebies when they do that! I prefer them still!
Hope you're having a great day Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!
They are rather scary aren't they, but not as bad and a wasp or bumble bee. I don't like them flying around me either. 🙂
If a shark is the only fish that can blink with both eyes, does that mean some fish can blink with only one eye?
I don't have a clue Binky. 🙂
The only one of these that I knew was the sneeze. That's why it's dangerous to sneeze whilst driving.
It really works too. I tried it the other night and held off a sneezing jag. 🙂
I remember quite a few of these. not about the crocodile & glad I don't taste with my feet! :))
Happy Memorial Day, dear friend!
