I did not know a single one of these. But now the image of crocodiles trying to taunt each other by trying to stick their tongues out is making me laugh. (One of my kids has an attached tongue and can't stick his tongue out either, and the other kids will sometimes mess with him, sticking their tongues out at him. (So there is a reason this image is in my head.)) 🙂

    Have a lovely day!

Those are some mighty interesting facts about life. I am going to have to try sneezing with my eyes open. Cats do have many different sounds.
Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a fantastic and fun day.

That fact about sneezing i have used to my advantage. There have been times when i really needed not to sneeze, and prying my eye open and keeping it that way suppressed the sneeze. It's not pleasant, but it works.

  4. Kismet says:

It seems like I've spent more than 6 months waiting for traffic lights to turn green. They see me coming and turn red just before I get there.

I knew two of these. I knew about the "jiffy". I used the jiffy clock on a Commodore 64 to generate random numbers for games. Also peaches and almonds I knew about. Hersey would buy my uncles peach pits each year to put into their chocolate with almond bars. some of those almonds would be peach pits. Couldn't tell the difference could you.

Megan excited taught me about th e butterfly tasting with their feet. They had a special presenter at her preschool a few weeks ago. She's a wealth of knowledge about them now. 🙂

It's funny that I would read about the goldfish today. I saw a story on Morning Express on Headline News this morning which read that recent studies show goldfish have an attention span of 9 seconds and humans one of 8 seconds. This is true. They asked the goldfish 😉

The rest of the fun facts were fabulous fun.

Fun facts!! I think the goldfish one was debunked, tho…. The goldfish in our tank remember what the food cup looks like and get excited if they see it near the tank.

  9. "Annie" says:

"A cat has 32 muscles in each ear."? All I can say is, I’m grateful I’m not a dragonfly, and now I know I’m a goldfish. 😉 This is a fun post!

    I hope you're having a super terrific day! :)))

If a dragonfly has only 24 hours, wonder why they always waste time flying around me? They give me the eebie jeebies when they do that! I prefer them still!

Hope you're having a great day Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!

  11. Faythe M.A says:

I remember quite a few of these. not about the crocodile & glad I don't taste with my feet! :))
    Happy Memorial Day, dear friend!
