The long awaited pictures are finally a reality. Last July we took our boat in for the first part of her facelift. Then in December we took her back again for part two of her facelift. In June we’ll take her in for the last piece of work while we’re traveling to Oregon.
I’ve gone back to the last post to let you see the difference. Click on any photograph to biggify.
We went from the colorless tan canvas to the beautiful black canvas. What a difference it has made.
We now have wraparound seating along with a permanent table insert that added even more color. I love the way the canvas looks inside too.
The helm seating is far brighter and more inviting. Redoing the seating brightened up the boat a lot. It’s also far more comfortable.
The big black hole where the analog television resided for years made the perfect wine rack and storage for paper plates, napkins, cocktail napkins and serving bowls. Love, love this space.
And here is why I waited so long to show you the facelift. The blinds. What a different these make in the overall look.
Now we have a new flat screen smart television, and we get 27 channels.
Last but not least it our wine rack/storage space where the old television used to reside. They fixed it to match the rest of the boat.
This addition seems to be the most praised on the boat. Why? I don’t know, but many want one on their boat.
We are happy with how our boat turned out so far and we have one more facelift before we move on to something else. She has been a wonderful boat and we’re just making sure she’s taken care of the very best way that we can…by loving her.

She's a beauty! Truly!!
And as you know, a wine rack would be an absolute essential for me. 😉 I'll bring my own plastic stemware and wine key… You know the one, the green one from our Blogger's Cruise.
big hugs xoxo
I know it would be essential for you. I thought of you when I came up with this idea. We much have our wine. 🙂
Sandee I am so happy for you. The boat is simply stunning. I know you will enjoy many more happy times on it. It is just beautiful
We do love it so. We loved her before the makeover and we love her after. 🙂
Love, love all the improvements and changes! When ya have limited space, you have to make it all work for your needs. This is all spot on great. She has gone from lovely to beautiful. For sure. She's a keeper and will give y'all years of plush enjoyment! Sail on.
Big hugs from blustery WPB, honey…
We can stay on here for days and days and be just fine. 🙂
It's like getting a brand new ship. WOW! When am I going to be invited to go on cruise? Oh I forgot, I live in Canada. Well, just seeing the photos are great enough. Thanks for the photos.
Have a tremendous Tuesday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Not a ship, a boat Paul. We are way too small. You're always welcome to come for a ride. 🙂
Wowser, the boat is just gorgeous and looks so nice and comfy. You two can stay on the boat for very long times.Good stuff. Sandee, you and Zane have a most wonderful day.
It is nice an comfy. Has air and heat too. Very comfy. 🙂
Wow! that's impressive it looks so modern fresh & bright I want one heheh!
Have a floattastic day y-) :-h
It is modern looking now. The boat was built in 2000 so it was time for a facelift. 🙂
Good that you got your boat back, good as new.
I think it looks better now than when it was built. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful! Looks like a brand new boat.
It's very easy to keep clean now. We just need to remember to pick up after ourselves often. Clutter in a small space it not a good thing. 🙂
How do you get 27 channels? You must have a really long cable 🙂 or satellite TV where the receiver must point south to a specific point and you can't use the boat to go anywhere.
It's very simple, there is an antenna on the top of our boat that is shaped like a plate, it receives signals from ground based TV stations through the air in digital form. The smart TV translates it into a signal. Since the antenna is a flat plate the signal is received regardless of which way the boat is facing. It's old school reception. 🙂
I am so impressed! She looks gorgeous! Looking forward to more pics of you and Zane enjoying your rewards!
Thanks Kathe. We do enjoy our recreation on our vessel. Scritches to Miss Lucy. 🙂
Looks gorgeous! Love seeing the before and after pics and, yes, I am a tad jealous of your wine glass storage 🙂
You live on a boat full time so I bow to your knowing the ins and outs of boating. I do enjoy coming home and having lots of room. Thanks Ellen. 🙂
Looks great!!
Thanks Joe and it's so easy to keep clean now. That wasn't the case before the facelifts. 🙂
Oh gosh, she is a beauty. I'LL be right over 😉
Come on over. You're always welcome. 🙂
it looks great.
It does Ann. We are very happy how it turned out. Thank you. 🙂
Bravo! So nicely done!
Thanks, it's sure a lot less expensive to do a facelift than it is to buy a new boat. 🙂
oh wow!!! beautiful boat! I'm sure you'll have more fun time with her 🙂 enjoy my dear!
Thanks Raquel. We do love her so and she's most fun to be on. 🙂
Your boat is beautiful! I love the changes you made! I know you'll be enjoying it for many years to come!
Our favorite treats are Kittles. Any flavor but especially the pink bag. They are kitty crack. Just sayin. 🙂 ~Angel & Isabella

We too love that part the very best. It was such a hard thing to put glasses away properly. 🙂
Quite the makeover! You've made lots of fun and useful renovations. Thanks for sharing. A friend of mine often posts about the redesigning of their home and the transformation is an interesting one. Enjoy your revamped boat!
Thanks Allison. It's coming along nicely. Way cheaper than buying a new boat too. 🙂
That looks beautiful. She's a mighty fine boat! It looks very comfortable and inviting.
Thanks Binky. It's very comfortable and inviting. Almost everyone gravitates to our boat in the evenings. 🙂
Looking good! you must be so excited. What a fun next season you will have.
We are enjoying the beginning of our season very nicely. 🙂

Thanks Mike, we think so too. 🙂
can hardly wait until the next boat trip looks great
And you're driven this boat too Phil. You did a great job as her pilot. 🙂
Oh my goodness Sandee, this is sooooo beautiful, now I know there is a little cubby hole somewhere in there I could fit into just for a day, lol! Really though this is a dream come true, and I am so happy for you both.
