The liquid inside young coconuts can be used as a substitute for Blood Plasma.
Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes or shark attacks. (So, watch your ass)
You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television.
Oak trees do NOT produce acorns until they are fifty (50) years of age or older.
The first product to have a bar code was Wrigley’s gum.
It IS possible to lead a cow upstairs… but NOT downstairs.
A duck’s quack doesn’t echo, and no one knows why.
The King of Hearts is the only King WITHOUT A MOUSTACHE.
American Airlines saved $40,000 in1987 by eliminating one (1) olive from each salad served in first-class.
Venus is the only planet that rotates clockwise.
Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning.
Most dust particles in your house are made from DEAD SKIN!
And most of that dead skin came off my feets because I am waaaay overdue for a pedi. That ends today as I finally have an appointment! I am also having my hair grimmed and styled this morning. This now more than year-long grow out process is getting old. srsly.
Have yourself a funtabulous weelend, Sandee!! :))
I am NOT having my hair grimmed. Trimmed. not Grimmed. But that's a little bit funny because Al and I just began watching the TV series Grimm.
I'm letting my hair grow out a bit too. Don't know how long I'll let it get, but longer than it is now. That was one bad haircut you got. š
I figured you meant trimmed. Now if you can just find someone that knows the meaning of trim. š
Interesting facts, but I just can't seem myself replacing my morning cup of coffee with an apple š
Me either. I do love my morning coffee. š
And on that note about dust, from the observations of a person who cleans other people's houses, those who do not have any pets at all have much less dust. So it's not just dead skin from people, which doesn't seem to cause as much of a problem if you stay on top of it. It's the animal dander that makes a place really dusty!
I agree with you about of four legged friends. š
Those are some pretty interesting facts for sure. I am surprised at the Oak tree one. So all my oak trees are old. Those were good ones Sandee, Sandee, you and Zane have a great day and week end.
I didn't check these out for accuracy, but it's just for fun. š
Those facts were interesting loved the donkey ones little tip at the end LMAO
Have a floatingtastic day Sandee g-)
You always have to watch your ass Steve. You know that. š
Naturally but I agree with the Cynical Sailor, I need my Java not an apple. ha,ha,ha.
Have a coffee happy Saturday Sandee. You too Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Me too Paul, me too. š
They are really cool and fascinating facts, Sandee! Thank you so much for sharing. š
You are most welcome. I hope you're feeling better. š
Those are really interesting! The only one I that seems unbelievable is the coconut milk. Got to check that out.
I didn't check any of them out. I just thought they were fun. š
We have a lot of Oak trees on our 10 acres- we got tons of acorns this year- but this is what I read when googling Oak trees:
ā¢Fruit of the oak is called acorn. Production of acorns starts at the age of 20 to 50 years.
ā¢After about 20 years, these trees start producing acorns. Some trees may even take up to 50 years to produce the first lot. Yearly production of acorns for a mature tree may touch around 2,200 acorns per year
⢠Oak trees can live up to 200 years or more, and mature trees have the capacity of absorbing more than 50 gallons of water in one day.

Cheers honey! Big hugs to you and Zane!
Oh very interesting. So what I posted was partly true. š
Didn't realize that about the planet Venus—-wonder if that's viewed from the top or bottom?
I haven't a clue Ron. š
Hi Sandee! I think I rather have coffee in the morning and keep the apple for the afternoon. Have a wonderful Saturday!
There you go. I'm with you on this one Nancy. š
Wow! My favorite is, "Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes or shark attacks. (So, watch your ass)"
Thanks for the information and the laughs.
Have a great day Sandee!
xoxo
Yep, that one made me chuckle too. You have a great day to sweetie. :))
I had no idea about every single one of these! I had no idea that it's even possible that a sound – like the duck's quack – doesn't echo! Thank you so much for sharing these. I just had to share them with my hubby right away š
Have an amazing weekend! Lots of hugs to you!
Well it appears the acorn one isn't true. Hugs back. š
I always like your lists of 'amazing facts,' Sandee.
Our oak tree, a present to Mrs. Jim from the landscaper at our former home of 16 years started having acorns before five years, I am thinking after three. It was a pin oak that has green leaves year round. That would 47 years early.
š
..
Yep, it appears that the acorn one is not true at all. š
The dust in this house comes from bird feathers.
I knew this already. š
My pet rock says oak trees aren't very bright…*bracing for a war here*
Seymour is usually right about everything too. š
Now those are some mighty interesting factoids, especially that donkey business. Ha.
Big hugs from soggy nawth jawjah, honey…
Yep, but it's so very true. š
I don't know about the other things, but our oak trees are all less than 20 years and have been making acorns by the bucket load for several years.
It's very clear that I was wrong about that tidbit. š
If you fall asleep while watching television do you get double credit?
Why not. Works for me. š
Clever share! I really like the various posts you do each day. I must stop by each day and will make a note to do so. I am very happy I met you, take care and enjoy your week and I will be back tomorrow to link up with Aw…Monday!
I'm happy I met you too Anne. You are a delight. š
Some intriguing facts Sandee. Although the information would've been handy a week earlier because I can't work out how to get the cow down from upstairs…
Bwahahahahahahaha. I wonder if that's really true. Someone must have done that very thing. š
I should start producing acorns any day now. . .
I've been producing for quite some time. Years in fact. š
These are very interesting facts Sandee!
Now am thinking of having an apple instead of coffee just so I can lessen my sugar intake š sometimes I put on much sugar and creamer on my coffee.
I love my coffee though and I too put sugar and creamer. š
Interesting, but that American Airlines one seems a bit off to me.
It's true Rhonda. https://www.quora.com/Is-it-true-that-American-Airlines-saved-40-000-in-1987-by-eliminating-one-olive-from-each-salad-served-in-first-class š
