Yep, they are might good hunters. We had one in our milking parlor when I was a kid and my father told us kids to never, ever bother that owl. We never did either. 🙂

Owls are so cute. I've seen a few, but not many. 🙂
We get lots of owls in my area. You can spot them at dusk with their big ole heads flying around with all the bats. If you are lucky enough to visit the bird show at Busch Gardens in Florida, they might let you hold many different birds. Holding the owls was my very favorite birdy experience. The different hawks were my second favorite.
We watch them at the marina and you're right about them flying around with the bats. I would love to hold an owl. 🙂
I saw a t-shirt with an owl and the speech bubble coming out of its mouth said "Whom!"
