A mighty hunter is that kitten. I'm grateful they stay relatively small in comparison to us.
They are all mighty hunters even if they aren't. 🙂
Cute little fellow. I use to enjoy watching our older females cats on the farm late in the afternoon as they lay in tall grass waiting for that unfortunate mouse who dared to venture from his hiding place as darkness approached. Invariably the cat would spring and come up with the goods to take home to the little babies. Yup, those were the days of my youth. Funny how some things remind hidden in the id (subconscious) until something brings them back. Thanks for that image on this Monday!
Our youth and we couldn't wait to grow up so we could do whatever we wanted. We've arrived and then some. 🙂

Thank you for linking in with me! My daughter Rebekah's beau Zach left his car keys in her car so either call in sick or have me drive him! I hate driving on the highway but I came home unscathed. Lots of kooky drivers out there! Love the cat! I was picking up the trash from room to room and saw Miss Daphne. She is so shy and she was trying to hide under a chair from me! But when she hears me say "Hey girl, where are you" she peeks! I have caught coming upstairs when I am out running errands but she will make a beeline for the basement when I return. SO nervous and scared. Poor girl, I would no more hurt her than these dogs who drive me crazy! In and Out, In and Out, I need a revolving door! Mr. KItty waits for me and bugs me all day long! Rose, meh, she sleeps somewhere and I never see her until the food dish is empty! Then she is very vocal! HaHaHa! My days are one one fur friend after another. Have a wonderful week. My first cat liked slinking in the grass to hunt. She also enjoyed just laying in the grass and soaking in the sun.
My current cats don't get outdoors as much. I can imagine though them being as eager-eyed as the cat pictured here.
Some cats love being outdoors and some don't mind being inside all the time. 🙂
