I’ve been visiting Peter’s blog for many years. A very fun place all year long, but a really fun place on Wombat day. 🙂

If you had not said what that was I would not have had a clue that it was a wombat. I didn’t know there was a Wombat Day. Good thing I have the day off to celebrate it 🙂

I’m sure she/he is too. They are most lovable. Well except for the wombats at Peter’s place. They are kind of out there. 🙂

Peter has Wombat Day every year and I’ve not participated for a couple of years. It was time to return. You have a blessed week too. 🙂

Wombats are short-legged, muscular quadrupedal marsupials that are native to Australia. They are about 1 m (40 in) in length with small, stubby tails. There are three extant species and they are all members of the family Vombatidae. They are adaptable and habitat tolerant, and are found in forested, mountainous, and heathland areas of south-eastern Australia, including Tasmania, as well as an isolated patch of about 300 ha (740 acres) in Epping Forest National Park[2] in central Queensland. Thanks for celebrating Wombat Day, Sandee!

I may be a little biased, but I think wombats are as cute as any other animal out there!

Now on to the cake and chocolate and wine gums!

I agree with you. They are most adorable and the babies are even cuter. Yes on with the cake, chocolate and wine gums. Happy Wombat day, Binky. 🙂

Is that what that is? Ohhh my, I was looking at it and so confused. I’ll be honest…oh, Manny Machado ties the game…Belli up…anyway, I thought the critter was a little freaky, but freaky can be cute.
