Cute ducks. I had a Mr and Mrs Mallard that I hatched from abandoned eggs. I used to shut them in at night to protect them from foxes but Mrs Mallard was taken during the day. Mr. Mallard hung around for a few weeks probably hoping she would come back then flew off but returned occasionally.
How sad Mrs. Mallard got taken. 🙁 I admire anyone who assists wildlife like that.
Thank you.
Poor Mrs. Mallard. So sad. 🙂
Perfect for Aww Monday nice photo and angle but as they say they can drive you quackers 🙂
Have a quacktastic AMS 👍
They can do just that. I thought they were cute. They can sure fight though. 🙂
They are so beautiful!
They are indeed. Have a great day and week, Miss Molly. 🙂
Those are really pretty. The reflection in the water only adds to the beauty.
It sure does. I thought it was a great shot. 🙂
Adorable ducks! Happy Monday Sandee, and thanks for hosting, oh Smooch is back with his breathing exercises today! LOL XX
I’m so happy about the breathing exercises. I really missed them. Happy Monday and week. 🙂
That photo is absolutely ducky and beautiful too!
It sure is. Have a great week, my friend. 🙂
Meowser those are lovely ducks, but why are they just standing there? Why aren’t they playing in the water?!?!?!?
Have a purrfect week, Ms. Sandee and thank you for hosting this blog hop.
Purrseidon
They are out to groom themselves for a bit. Happy week. 🙂
It’s time for all the duckies to fly south for the winter! XOX Xena and Lucy
I know. I’ve heard them flying south for week. They will be back in the spring. 🙂
So cute. I love it. Happy Monday Sandee.

Very cute ducks. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
They are indeed. Have a great day and week, Ellen. 🙂
I can’t figure out how to get the blog hub list to show up on my blog post. I’ve tried copying and pasting both links and neither look like yours above.
Blog hop
There are two different ways to put the links in. Try the first one and if that doesn’t work try the second one. Make sure you’re in code editor, not visual. 🙂
Are you paying for your site. I have a business account in WordPress. If you’re a free account then it won’t work. 🙂
I am paying. I had to click add “HTML” in my post in order to make it work. Simply copying and pasting those codes in the HTML mode of my whole post did not work. Neither one of them did.
You have the link URL there, but not the same as mine. I’m not sure why. Blogger it works, but on some WordPress it won’t. 🙂
Any friend of Donald is a friend of mine.
I hear you, Kismet. I love you. 🙂
Very nice! They are all posing for the picture 🙂 Have a great Monday!
They are indeed, Yvonne. Have a great week. 🙂
I love ducks! We used to have a lot of them around here but they developed all the wet areas and now they fly over. Have a great Monday
We have them at our marina. Geese in some places, but we have ducks. You have a great Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties. 🙂
At least those ducks are in a row.
That’s not easy to get them to do either. 🙂
Awww they are beautiful and obviously eat very well.
They are fat things aren’t they. 🙂
OMC! There is just something about ducks that makes me smile … probably the waddling and the beaks. Too cute and definitely awwworthy!
They are so cute indeed. Love watching them. They can beg very well. 🙂
Headed home, breaking the trip over to two days. Stopping in Nashville tonight.
I hope you’re having a great time. We take shorter jaunts anymore too. 🙂
Naww it’s nice to see a family going for a casual stroll!
Happy Monday, Sandee – I hope it’s a good week for you both 🤗 xx
They are enjoying each others company indeed. Happy Monday and week, Caz. 🙂
We had a flock of mallards in the river behind the house for quite a while during the summer. It was interesting to watch them teach the ducklings how to stay out of the current! We hope you had a terrific weekend and that this week is spectacular! Marv sends head bonks!
The parents do a good job teaching their ducklings how to do things properly. So patient. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to you. 🙂
These ducks are just so cute and actually beautiful and they’re so round and Rolie Polie and happy and healthy looking. I saw a mama and a daddy like this this morning just wondering down the street on the sidewalk
That was the first thing I noticed. They are chunky indeed. Happy week, Sandra. Scritches to Beau. 🙂
Sandee, and of course my off the wall sence of humor has come to play, with AWWW DUCK OFF!! Mines up.!
I’m glad you’re playing along today, Mike. I always enjoy your sense of humor. Scritches to Screwball. 🙂

Dearest Sandee,
forgive my belated comment, but this morning I didn’t receive the update of your Blog and I couldn’t find its link on Mimi’s Blog, where I linked my post “Lord Byron & Countess Teresa Guiccioli ~ The Italian Love”.
Fortunately you posted a comment on ~ My little old world ~ and thanks to yor profile’s name on Blogger I could arrive here!
Thanking you for being always so supportive,
I wish you a most lovelty new week

They are indeed. Not as cute as all of you, but cute. Happy Monday and week. 🙂
The Mallard with his harem! Have a great day!
They do get around. I watch them in the marina. You have a great day and week, Kathe. Happy Birthday again. 🙂
whoops Harem plus his son!
You just never know with ducks. 🙂
Tough beautiful creatures!
They are indeed, Cloudia. 🙂
Cute ducks ❤
Very and they are fat too. “_
Aww love watching mated pairs of mallards paddle around on Sloans Lake. They are great fun to watch.
Yes they are and hubby and I enjoy watching them at our marina and in our boating travels. 🙂
haha! Cute! These ducks look like they are on a serious mission – maybe to hypnotize us!
Have a great week! <3
They are entertaining us indeed. Have a great week, Barbara. 🙂
Looks like someone had their ducks in a row.
Around here it’s not often. Happy week, Pam. 🙂
Just DUCKY! 😍 SMILING and then some… Have a lovely week, Sandee! xo
I’m happy about that, Bette. Have a great week. 🙂
😍
Meowza! Those duckies look cold, they need sweaters!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
I sometimes wonder how they keep warm in the winter, but they do. Purrs and Head Bonks back. 🙂
Awww, we do love the ducks. Sweetie especially, he won’t eat duck at restaurants, he says they’re too cute to eat.
Me either and hubby won’t either. We love ducks. 🙂
We have lots of those beauties near Toronto! Love watching them swim
They are most fun to watch. 🙂
That is a huge Aw!!!! I love ducks!
Me too. They are fun to watch. 🙂
I love a family portrait
And this is a very nice family portrait. 🙂
I love baby ducks and watching the Mallard at the open spaces. I love how they enjoy the water. I saw a terribly funny political meme with ducks a/k/a C A T S! HaHa, some folks believe everything others tell them. I’ll stick with the fowl and feathery friends at the open spaces. I am super late but I realized my big brother had sent me photos of Big Boy, the Steam Engine that came thorugh Denver recently. I love trains too.
Thank you for all you do. Have a wonderful week.
It’s always good to see you, Anne and you’re never late. Love you. 🙂
That is a sweet share! I love the Mallards in the Springtime, when they have theor babies at the open spaces and start teaching them the fine art of swimming. A precious sight. Enjoy this new week.
Oh I love the ducklings too. They are such fun to watch. Big hug. 🙂
Darling duckies!
Yes indeed, Mudpie. Happy Tuesday. 🙂
A remarkable image!
I thought so too. 🙂
