Cute ducks. I had a Mr and Mrs Mallard that I hatched from abandoned eggs. I used to shut them in at night to protect them from foxes but Mrs Mallard was taken during the day. Mr. Mallard hung around for a few weeks probably hoping she would come back then flew off but returned occasionally.

Meowser those are lovely ducks, but why are they just standing there? Why aren’t they playing in the water?!?!?!?
Have a purrfect week, Ms. Sandee and thank you for hosting this blog hop.

I can’t figure out how to get the blog hub list to show up on my blog post. I’ve tried copying and pasting both links and neither look like yours above.

OMC! There is just something about ducks that makes me smile … probably the waddling and the beaks. Too cute and definitely awwworthy!

We had a flock of mallards in the river behind the house for quite a while during the summer. It was interesting to watch them teach the ducklings how to stay out of the current! We hope you had a terrific weekend and that this week is spectacular! Marv sends head bonks!

The parents do a good job teaching their ducklings how to do things properly. So patient. Scritches all around, a smooch to Marv and a big hug to you. 🙂

These ducks are just so cute and actually beautiful and they’re so round and Rolie Polie and happy and healthy looking. I saw a mama and a daddy like this this morning just wondering down the street on the sidewalk

    Dearest Sandee,
forgive my belated comment, but this morning I didn’t receive the update of your Blog and I couldn’t find its link on Mimi’s Blog, where I linked my post “Lord Byron & Countess Teresa Guiccioli ~ The Italian Love”.
Fortunately you posted a comment on ~ My little old world ~ and thanks to yor profile’s name on Blogger I could arrive here!
Thanking you for being always so supportive,
I wish you a most lovelty new week

I love baby ducks and watching the Mallard at the open spaces. I love how they enjoy the water. I saw a terribly funny political meme with ducks a/k/a C A T S! HaHa, some folks believe everything others tell them. I’ll stick with the fowl and feathery friends at the open spaces. I am super late but I realized my big brother had sent me photos of Big Boy, the Steam Engine that came thorugh Denver recently. I love trains too.
Thank you for all you do. Have a wonderful week.

That is a sweet share! I love the Mallards in the Springtime, when they have theor babies at the open spaces and start teaching them the fine art of swimming. A precious sight. Enjoy this new week.
