A wise old owl!
I love owls. 🙂
What a beauty. I volunteered at a conservacy years and years ago and helped take care of an owl. The first time it opened its wings while on my arm was super startling. I had NO idea their wing span was so huge!!! They’re a little intimidating, but beautiful just the same.
What a neat experience! And gorgeous photo! ~hugs~
Yes their wingspread is huge. 🙂
Gorgeous! Love those eyes!
Yes indeed. We had a barn owl when I was growing up. He kept the mice population down to very little if any. 🙂
Sandee,
Every time I see an owl I always think of the Tootsie Pop commercials from my youth, “How many licks does it take to get to the Toostie Roll center of a Toostie Pop”? Only the wise old owl was able to answer the question. 😀

I remember that commercial. Back in the day the commercials were better than the shows. 🙂
Sorry about that Sandee! I was trying to embedded the video into comments but it didn’t work right. I always screw this up! roll eyes
Those eyes are amazing. I’ve always liked owls.
Me too, Ann. They do have amazing eyes. 🙂
Oh my, that guy is almost creepy. It would make an ideal Halloween photo!
Some don’t care for owls. I’m a fan of birds. 🙂
Meow-meow Ms. Sandee, why am I now calculating how soon Halloween will be here?
Purrseidon
PS thank you for hosting this blog hop.
We are so ready for cooler weather. I’m not a fan of Halloween, but I know my little ones are. 🙂
There is just something so fascinating about owls! Great picture!
I agree, Linda. Have a great week. 🙂
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to have amber eyes of wisdom I love it
Hugs Cecilia
Yes indeed, Cecilia. Have a great week, honey. Big hug. 🙂
Intense and beautiful, that’s what those eyes are. Hope you and Mr. Zane have a blessed and beautiful Monday!
Yes owls are very intense and beautiful. We can hear them after sundown at our marina. You and Mr. Sweetie have a blessed and beautiful Monday too. 🙂
Very awww…worthy owl. Thanks for hosting. Have a wonderful day! XO
Owls are awesome. You have a wonderful day and week, Ellen. 🙂
Owls are so cool! Happy Monday, Sandee!
Yes they are. Thanks for playing along, Eugenia. 🙂
I think Mr. Owl is a little annoyed with us.
They mostly look annoyed all the time. 🙂
That owl is gorgeous Sandee! Great choice! Have a fab Monday & week! Hugs! 🙂
Yes I love birds. All kinds of birds. 🙂
What a stunning owl, love that beauty.
I saw him and said Awww. I do love all birds. 🙂

Well said. Have a great week. 🙂
Love owls! Happy Monday Sandee! XOX
Me too. They are such beautiful birds. 🙂
Handsome Owl! just glanced down and saw Big Boy, Misty and Sawyer. prayers going up.
Yes many are in my prayers every single day. 🙂
thanks for hosting…what a serious face on that bird!
You’re most welcome. Thanks for playing along today. Most appreciated. 🙂
I adore owls! Sure, they are predators, but so are our kitties!
I long to catch sight of an owl in a tree; it’s only happened a few times, other than owl exhibits, of course.
Me too and yes they are predators and so are cats. Love them both. 🙂
Oh my goodness that is ominous! Love it.
It is indeed. Have a great week. 🙂
Wow! What an awesome Owl with incredible eyes ~ ^_^
Xox to you and hubby ~ I have news ~ a rescue Yorkie is with me ~ Her name is Angel ~ Zoe sent her I am sure ~ Can you believe it? I do ~

Whoa. I though my eyes were big
Nope, not that big but you’ve got great looking eyes. 🙂
Are you looking at me?
God bless.
Yep, that’s pretty much what he’s saying. God bless you too, Victor. 🙂
One thing is sure. You will NEVER sneak up on an owl!
No it’s impossible. 🙂
Uncle Sidney, long time no see.
You crack me up, Kismet. 🙂
That owl means business lol great photo 🙂

Those eyes…..wow!!!
Happy Monday!!
Yes they are most beautiful aren’t they. 🙂
That’s a very wise owl, he says he knows about everything, Sandee, and he looks right through me😸Pawkisses for a Good Night🐾😽💞
They are very wise. I always listen to them. Pawkisses for a good week, Little Binky. 🙂
What a handsome Hoot Hooot! Mom and dad spent 4 weeks trying to figure out what kind was living in our tree by their bedroom window!! It’s was a long eared owl! He’s very very loud!
Yes they can be loud at night. They are such beautiful birds. 🙂
We have an owl in our woods. Many Native American tribes view them as a sign of coming death. I have never been a fan, but he does keep some of the critters at bay.
It can keep mice pretty much gone. Great if you’re on a dairy farm. 🙂
Wow, that is one very intense owl!!! Awesome eyes!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I love owls and when I was growing up we had a barn out in our barn. Dad always told us to never bother the owl. I never did. 🙂
That is a sensational shot! Your bird is def better than my bird!
I thought so too. 🙂
Oh that is a huge owl! We never realize their size and strength until we see them close up. We had one in the trees near our home and we had to be extra vigilante with the pups. They are sure magnificent creatures and I bet they never have neck issues! Good to be here. LOve to you and HUGS across the miles. XO XO
They are indeed impressive. We don’t have any around here, but we do at our marina. Hugs for a good week, Anne. 🙂
Those eyes! What a beauty!
Happy Monday, Sandee!
I think so too, Veronica. Happy week. 🙂
I am not sure that is an AWWW picture or a scary picture.
For me it’s an awww. Some folks are scared of owls. 🙂
Great picture of an owl. I have never seen a real owl.
I love owls. They are most beautiful. 🙂
That has got to be the most serious gaze I have seen in a while
I love some of the gazes critters make. 🙂
What beautiful eyes that owl has!!
I think so too. I love all birds, but owls are so unique. 🙂
