Silly Sunday

Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

Montana Rules:

Pull up your droopy pants. You look like an idiot.

Let’s get this straight; it’s called a “gravel road.” I drive a pickup truck because I need to. No matter how slow you drive, you’re going to get dust on your Lexus. Drive it or get out of the way.

So you have a $60,000 dollar car. We’re impressed. We have quarter-million dollar, air conditioned tractors that we drive three weeks a year.

No, there’s no “vegetarian special” on the menu. Order steak. Or you can order the Chef’s Salad and pick off the two pounds of ham & turkey.

You bring “coke” into my house, it better be brown, wet, served over ice. You bring “Mary Jane” into my house, she better be cute, know how to shoot, drive a truck, and have long hair.

Yeah, we have golf courses. Don’t hit the water hazards —- it spooks the fish.

Colleges? Try Montana State or the University of Montana. They come outta there with an education plus a love for God and country, and they still wave at passing pickups when they come home for the holidays.

We have more folks per capita in the Navy, Army, Marines, and Air Force than any other state, so “Don’t Mess with Montana.” If you do, you’ll likely get your butt kicked.

I will never go to Montana. I'm scared to go into the United States.
    See ya Sandee.

The United States is nothing to be scared of. It's certain places that are scary. Just like in every country. πŸ™‚

LOVE the Montana rules…Having been born and raised in Alberta (the Canadian province directly north of Montana) many of those rules apply up there (particularly outside of the "Big" Cities) and I've heard them as Albertan Rules!
Thanks for the laughs and the memories!

    • November 19, 2017 at 3:36 pm

I wouldn't care for the winters, but the summers are awesome. πŸ™‚

I think a lot of states can claim a lot of members and or veterans.

    • November 20, 2017 at 12:07 pm

Yes they can, Mike. I find these humorous at times the differences between states. πŸ™‚

  15. November 20, 2017 at 11:04 am

I wonder how they feel about rockets.

    • November 20, 2017 at 12:07 pm

Where you are concerned I'm guessing they are just fine with rockets. πŸ™‚

  16. November 20, 2017 at 4:45 pm

    Some good rules Sandee.
I so often want to say "Pull up your droopy pants. You look like an idiot" to a lot of teenagers.

    • November 21, 2017 at 7:22 am

They think it looks so cool. It doesn't. πŸ™‚
