What a good capture and close up, I wish we could fly about like that although it would tend to make our arms tired y-)

    Have a flitterflattertastic WWS c-)

I guess that's why they have wings instead of arms? Could be that simple. :_

Yesterday I saw one of these lovely eagles soaring in the sky! Such a glorious sight!

    • April 12, 2017 at 2:41 pm

We see a lot of hawks here, but they aren't as impressive as an eagle. πŸ™‚

I want to fly like an eagle
    To the sea
    Fly like an eagle
    Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
    Till I'm free
    Oh, Lord, through the revolution
I'm going to play Steve Miller Band all day today

  24. April 13, 2017 at 4:05 pm

What a beautiful shot and what a beautiful bird. Years ago, my husband and I were having coffee on our carport on a New Year's morning and we saw a bald eagle fly over head. As minor league bird watchers, we were thrilled.

    • April 14, 2017 at 7:05 am

I would have been thrilled too. I've never seen one for real. Eagle cam, but never for real. πŸ™‚

  25. April 13, 2017 at 7:33 pm

    Don't just fly…soar!
    Have a meaningful Holy Week.

    • April 14, 2017 at 7:05 am

I do sour, Lux, just like you. You have a meaningful Holy week too. πŸ™‚

  26. April 14, 2017 at 3:36 pm

I can remember the time you never saw a Bald Eagle—now they are everywhere. A truly majestic bird.

    • April 14, 2017 at 3:39 pm

I've yet to see one in the wild. I would like to, and one of these days I hope to. πŸ™‚
