Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

Kids Logic:

Mermaids live in the ocean. I like mermaids. They are beautiful and I like their shiny tails, but how on earth do mermaids get pregnant? Like, really? (Helen, age 6)

I’m not going to write about the ocean. My baby brother is always crying, my Dad keeps yelling at my Mom, and my big sister has just got pregnant, so I can’t think what to write. (Amy, age 6)

Some fish are dangerous. Jellyfish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into chargers. (Christopher, age 7)

When you go swimming in the ocean, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small. (Kevin, age 6)

Divers have to be safe when they go under the water. Divers can’t go down alone, so they have to go down on each other. (Becky, age 8)

On vacation my Mom went water skiing. She fell off when she was going very fast. She says she won’t do it again because water fired right up her big fat butt. (Julie, age 7)

The ocean is made up of water and fish. Why the fish don’t drown I don’t know. (Bobby, age 6)

My dad was a sailor on the ocean. He knows all about the ocean. What he doesn’t know is why he quit being a sailor and married my mom. (James, age 7)

" When you go swimming in the ocean, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small. (Kevin, age 6) " Hey Kevin, when you get older, your willy will get bigger especially when it gets colder. Mine always done. Ha,ha,ha. Sorry about that. I just had to say that.
Enjoy your Sunday Sande & Zane. See ya.

PS I received your card. Thank you. My daughter had to open my card because she was wondering, who would send me a card from California. When I went to have my breakfast, she asked me, dad, who do you know in California? I said a girlfriend. That shut her up. Ha,ha,ha. Zane, I never really met Sandee. Are we OK? LOL See ya.

    • December 11, 2016 at 3:40 pm

I'm glad you got the card, but you're giving your daughter a hard time. I did address it to you and Mary Lou. Just saying. πŸ™‚

DUH! This post answered its own question. Mermaids live in the cold ocean where mermaids' mates get their small willys into microscopically small places that the naked eye can't see. SQUAAAAAWK! Forget Google, Siri and Cortana. The Answer Parrot knows.

    • December 11, 2016 at 3:43 pm

Bwahahahahahahahaahaha. I knew there was a reasonable answer. I should have asked the answer parrot. πŸ™‚

This was a travel day Kathe. We are home and the laundry is in. Mexican for dinner, and then some wine later. It's a great day.

I never knew the ocean had so many tales to tell.

    • December 12, 2016 at 3:38 pm

Apparently it does though. Well according to some of these kids. πŸ™‚
