CP Schedule

I’ve been posting every single day for a very long time. Years in fact. I’m tired and am going to change up my posting.

For now I’m going to do the following posts:

Silly Sunday, Awww Mondays, Wordless Wednesday, Feline Friday and Seymour (pet-rock) and his buddy Element until they return home the first of September. I’m burnt out.

So for a change you don’t have to swing by each day. Just now and then and you are all invited to participate in all the memes. See you tomorrow for Feline Friday.

I think we all need some time off once in a while. Once we get burnt out, blogging will not be a pleasure but a pressure! Look forward to your posts.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:22 am

I feel less pressure already. It's three days a week this month I don't have to worry about posts and next month it will be four days. I'm loving this so far. 🙂

  2. August 4, 2016 at 4:09 am

Whatever you post and whenever you post it, i will enjoy it!

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:23 am

Pretty much just memes is all I'm going to do. Easy stuff. 🙂

  3. August 4, 2016 at 4:25 am

So glad you aren't giving up all together. I think that is a great idea. Sometimes I do get sick of posting every day. So we understand. Sandee, you and Zane have a fun day.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:23 am

There are so many other things that need doing. I'm going to start doing those things too. 🙂

  4. August 4, 2016 at 4:48 am

It's hard to do it every single day. I can only manage it for the April A to Z Challenge, and then I didn't even do it daily this year. Blogging is supposed to be fun, so set a schedule that keeps it fun for you.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:24 am

I want the fun part, not all the working part. 🙂

  5. August 4, 2016 at 6:07 am

I was wondering when you would make the change. Just like you I was writing my blog everyday with many ideas but was to much and that's why I write every certain day and I'm able to give more of myself. Good idea Sandee. That way it will give you a chance to fix your batteries.
Have a wonderful Thursday my good friend and say hi to Zane. See ya.

It's been a whole bunch of years. It's time to back off a bit. 🙂

  6. August 4, 2016 at 7:40 am

Time for a break girl. As you may know I have numerous sites and for a long time I've tried to post on most daily. No longer attempt that—just too much for this old half-senile fart! Not saying you're old Sandee or senile, but certainly understand. Enjoy the days off, away from that keyboard!

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:25 am

I'm old, but not senile yet. I just need a break from this keyboard. 🙂

  7. August 4, 2016 at 7:46 am

You just need new categories like Thoughtless Thursday, Sadistic Saturday and Me-Tuesday.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:25 am

Well, there is a thought, but I'd be blogging everyday again. 🙂

I've lost so many blogging friends through the years who just got burned out. Please don't let that happen, Sandee.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:26 am

I won't quit blogging. Not something I'm even entertaining. Just need to cut back. 🙂

  9. August 4, 2016 at 8:00 am

I post every three days…it works out.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:06 am

Although I always have something to say, I only post when I feel that the content would be interesting to others. I don't post on a schedule or post to get "something" published. I'm stress free.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:26 am

It works for you and you're not working so hard at posts. 🙂

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:27 am

I'm sure I've added much pressure on my blogging Kismet. Going to fix that. 🙂

I hear ya! On Dakota's blog, lately I have been lucky if I am posting once a week, (this week I have yet to post on his blog). For Cody's, I only commit to THREE posts per week (often there are more, but not always) My days I shoot for are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I like to give people a break from visiting every day. I am also starting a part time job TODAY outside of the home, so I won't have as much time to visit as I used to. xoxoxoxo Love you! catchatwithcarenandcody

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:27 am

I need to be away from the computer more. There are other things that need doing. I get it. Have fun at your new job. 🙂

  11. August 4, 2016 at 8:04 am

I've always been amazed at how frequently you post. I can see why you're a bit burnt out. I'm selfishly glad you're going to keep doing a few of my favorite days like Aww Monday, WW and Feline Friday.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:28 am

Yep, love the memes. Not going to give them up. 🙂

  12. August 4, 2016 at 8:11 am

    You'll be missed.
    But, I do understand. Blessings

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:28 am

I wonder what I'll do on the days I don't post. I'll let you know. 🙂

  13. August 4, 2016 at 8:23 am

good decision- enjoy your day- you deserve it! xoxo

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:29 am

I'm kind of doing like you do. Post when you want and not if you don't. 🙂

  14. August 4, 2016 at 8:41 am

I fully understand, dear Sandee, and support your decision. Up until February of this year I was posting on a daily basis but after my long and deep depression of February I didn't post at all for a while. When I did come back to blogging I decided to post only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and this was a good decision for me. Sending you many hugs and much love.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:29 am

That's what I'm kind of doing. Only the fun posts that I love doing. 🙂

  15. August 4, 2016 at 8:58 am

Just checking and you've been at this for a decade now. We've been commenting on each others blog for nine years (I had BrainFreeze before Driller's Place). That's a lot of blogging and it is time to slow down just a bit. I have never posted daily except to the Christmas Music Marathon and I've even taken a couple of days out of my schedule recently. I only post Ruby Tuesdays and Skywatch Fridays when I really have something worthwhile. I no longer go on photo hunts for red stuff and special skies. Since this is normally where your Thankful Thursday resides, let me just say that I am thankful for this blog and it's author. Have a very blessed week-end.

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:30 am

You'll still be one of my blogging buddies for years to come. I knew we have blogged a long time together, but I didn't realize it was this long. Good for us. 🙂

  16. August 4, 2016 at 9:03 am

You have been blogging a long time, you deserve a break 🙂

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:31 am

      I think I deserve a break as well. 🙂

  17. August 4, 2016 at 9:14 am

See you refreshed after the break…still we miss you a lot!

    • August 4, 2016 at 9:31 am

I'll still be posting each week, just not every day. 🙂

  18. August 4, 2016 at 11:00 am

Aww! I fully understand I sometimes feel like that well whenever you post Sandee I will be popping by ;-(

    Have a tanfastic day :-d

    • August 4, 2016 at 11:21 am

You're a wonderful blogging buddy Steve. You really are. 🙂

  19. August 4, 2016 at 11:01 am

I've been blogging since October 2004 so I'm familiar with the burned out
feeling. If cutting back helps then, by all means, do it.

    • August 4, 2016 at 11:22 am

I think it will help a lot cube. Too many other things I don't do because of posting every day. If I take those days off then I'll be miles ahead of the game. 🙂

  20. August 4, 2016 at 11:10 am

Posting every day is hard. I know I can't keep up with that for sure. I hope you enjoy the change up 🙂

    • August 4, 2016 at 11:25 am

I'm sure I will. I'll have to give it some time to tell if it's the right thing. I do think it is. 🙂

  21. August 4, 2016 at 12:57 pm

Everybody needs a break from time to time! I've been feeling really burnt out lately, too!

    • August 4, 2016 at 3:59 pm

I'm way overdue and I've known it for some time. 🙂

  22. August 4, 2016 at 1:26 pm

I'll be aroud when you're around. You're one of my most favorite blogging buddies!

    • August 4, 2016 at 4:00 pm

How nice to know this. Thank you. You've made my day. 🙂

I hear you on being burned out. It's hard to post every day. When I don't blog I miss all of you but I so enjoy the time away from the computer.

    • August 4, 2016 at 4:02 pm

I'm going to see how I like being away from the computer. 🙂

  24. August 4, 2016 at 4:20 pm

I totally understand! I was driving myself bonkers trying to post so much and there's only so much cooperation I can get from cats! 🙂 A much relaxed schedule helps in more ways than one!

    • August 5, 2016 at 8:18 am

I'm going to give that a try. More relaxed is exactly what I'm looking for. Scritches to the girls. 🙂

  25. August 4, 2016 at 10:48 pm

High Five! I stopped posted daily years ago. It was a good move for me.

    • August 5, 2016 at 8:18 am

I'm sure it's going to be a good move for me too. 🙂

  26. August 4, 2016 at 10:52 pm

I've been there, but so far I've pushed that desire aside. Relax and enjoy!

    • August 5, 2016 at 8:19 am

I'm going to give it a go Odie. 🙂

  27. August 5, 2016 at 7:20 pm

An awful lot of bloggers have stopped completely, and only post on Facebook now. I'm glad you're going to continue, and a reduced schedule should make it less time consuming for you.

    • August 6, 2016 at 7:43 am

Yes many are on Facebook. I'm not a huge fan of Facebook. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. 🙂

I can understand being burned out. But I am sorry to see Thankful Thursday get cut. That was the one day a week I made sure to stop by and get a peak into your real life and how things were going. Know that you are never far from my heart and I am so blessed to know you.
