Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

The Pest?

A customer was bothering the waiter in a restaurant. First, he asked that the air conditioning be turned up because he was too hot, then he asked it be turned down cause he was too cold, and so on for about half an hour.

Surprisingly, the waiter was very patient, he walked back and forth and never once got angry.

So finally, a second customer asked him why he didn’t throw out the pest.

”Oh, I really don’t care or mind,” said the waiter with a smile. ”We don’t even have an air conditioner.”

LMAO and just think there really are people that just complain for the sake of it …BTW Sandee talking of air conditioning it seems a tad high on here too …just saying :-f

I turned off the air conditioner on the boat. It's mighty warm now. Enjoy. ☺

LOL – Honestly, I am getting quite tired of whiners.

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:39 pm

I live in the land of whiners. ☺

LOL, there's one in every crowd. I think I was the whiner yesterday when we were in Wal-mart. They had their air conditioning cranked and it was freezing in there. It was only 45 degrees outside so I would have preferred a little heat. Well at least I didn't complain to anyone. I just grumbled to myself 🙂

Grumbling to yourself doesn't count. ☺

That is true, there is always going to be someone unhappy about something. But that is just too funny. Sandee, you and Zane have a wonderful Sunday. Take care too.

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:40 pm

Yep, it seems almost everyone has something that they don't like. ☺

  5. May 15, 2016 at 4:20 am

That's a good idea whether you have an a/c or not! Just say you'll turn it up/down and don't do a thing.

    • May 15, 2016 at 1:29 pm

I think most places ignore your requests. Unless it is an overhead fan, how would you know.

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:41 pm

Yep, it worked for him just fine. ☺

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:41 pm

I always take a jacket and then I can take it on and off. ☺

  6. May 15, 2016 at 4:48 am

Heeheehee! For years i've considered installing a dummy switch so the A/C tinkerers will think they are doing something. Happy Sunday!

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:42 pm

      What a brilliant idea. ☺

  7. May 15, 2016 at 4:50 am

Brilliant! Smart waiter. There is no pleasing some folks, and he knows it. Me, not so much! Haha

    Big hugs, honey…

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:42 pm

Yep, there are some folks you'll never please. ☺

  8. May 15, 2016 at 5:59 am

The customer should be living in the nut house where he can turn the AC off himself. Ha,ha,ha.

Have a warm Sunday Sandee & Zane because it's so cold in Amherstburg ( temperature is 36 degree F. and it is MAY ). See ya.

Here, in Arizona, everyone would just know and the place would be deserted.

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:44 pm

Yep, some places you just don't play with the air conditioner. ☺

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:44 pm

So true Jan, so true. ☺

  12. May 15, 2016 at 7:18 am

I've met people like that…they just want to feel like they're in charge of dictating SOMETHING, anything will do, lolol!

  13. May 15, 2016 at 10:09 am

Omgosh. I hear people like that all the time when I go out to eat! I'm just like, ya' know what. Go to McDonalds and leave the rest of us in peace.

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:45 pm

Exactly, they won't because there is something wrong with McDonald's too. ☺

  15. May 15, 2016 at 1:13 pm

    LOL! What a patient waiter!

    • May 15, 2016 at 3:46 pm

      Yes, he's very patient. ☺

  16. May 15, 2016 at 4:37 pm

Sounds like a first world problem to me. Deal with it. The world could be a lot worse.

    • May 16, 2016 at 7:18 am

Yep, the world could be a lot worse. ☺

  17. May 15, 2016 at 6:03 pm

Bet that happens all the time 🙂

    • May 16, 2016 at 7:18 am

It happens all the time indeed. ☺

  18. May 16, 2016 at 10:42 am

Hi Sandee, oh no! That sounds just like my Dad! Never mind silly Sunday that was a perfect smile to end a Monday on.

    • May 16, 2016 at 10:59 am

I would love your dad then. ☺

  19. May 16, 2016 at 2:47 pm

At least he wasn't complaining about the food.

    • May 17, 2016 at 4:05 pm

      That's a very good thing. ☺

  20. May 16, 2016 at 7:46 pm

You know Sandee, that is our nUmber one rule during camps. "No complaining/whining" 🙂 Have a nice day!

    • May 17, 2016 at 4:05 pm

      It's an excellent rule. ☺
