The lighthouse seems tiny in the picture but I'm guessing it's actually quite tall. I do love lighthouses – they're such romantic looking buildings, plus they keep mariners safe.

    Have an awesome day!

It is a tiny lighthouse. For show only. πŸ™‚

Hey! I've been there in person! I remember boating by there at dusk, watching the peninsula until we passed that lighthouse! Such a beautiful location.

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:51 am

It's pretty there, but I'd pass going ashore. πŸ™‚

  3. May 11, 2016 at 5:24 am

    Beautiful!!

    I love lighthouses!!

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:52 am

This was a lovely place to dock and that's about all I cared about on this island. πŸ™‚

That is pretty! We have made it to hump day and the school year is almost over. That is my mantra today and what will get me through the rest of the projects and assignments of the year. I can do this right?

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:52 am

I know you can do this. It's what you do and then you can do a happy dance when it's all done. πŸ™‚

what a lovely shot- I have always been intrigued by light houses- what would they be like to live and work in? Have a super day!

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:53 am

Some of them would be scary to live in. Some awful weather and that would be scary. πŸ™‚

A lighthouse is one of those objects that everyone loves without question.

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:54 am

When we travel I always ask to stop at the lighthouses. πŸ™‚

  9. May 11, 2016 at 7:41 am

Too bad that those boxy ugly buildings are there.

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:54 am

That's where everyone wants to visit when they dock there. πŸ™‚

  10. May 11, 2016 at 7:49 am

Oh yes. I've seen this view many, many times. Don't need to actually visit the island again.

    Big hugs, honey…

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:55 am

I didn't care for the island either. My least favorite on that cruise. πŸ™‚

  11. May 11, 2016 at 8:04 am

I would be right at home in that lighthouse, provided it had an elevator!

    • May 11, 2016 at 10:57 am

This one was a very tiny one. Doubt you could even enter the thing, but is was quite nice to boat past. πŸ™‚
