Such an iconic symbol of the city. It's been ages since I've been to San Fran. Would love to get back there one day.

    Cheers – Ellen

Hubby and I have walked across this bridge. It was awesone. πŸ™‚

  6. April 6, 2016 at 6:25 am

I have never seen this in person, but I so want to someday!

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:13 pm

We've walked it and our boat has gone under this bridge many times. πŸ™‚

  7. April 6, 2016 at 6:58 am

It's a great view but I see the same view maybe not as beautiful as this view but something like it everytime when I go to Windsor – Detroit. It's called the Ambassador Bridge. The new bridge they are building soon, the Gordie Howe Bridge will be very beautiful.
Have a beautiful Wednesday Sandee & Zane. See ya.

    Just do it, JUMP!

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:18 pm

I think around 1,700 people have jumped off this bridge. That's a lot. πŸ™

We know a guy that paints this bridge. I can't imagine having that job. πŸ™‚

  14. April 6, 2016 at 11:56 am

Excellent angle of this pic brings out the best of this beautiful bridge.

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:20 pm

It does look better from this side of the bridge. πŸ™‚

  15. April 6, 2016 at 12:39 pm

  16. April 6, 2016 at 12:49 pm

I love visiting San Francisco! I'm going this September on a cruise with my mom. Hoping for perfect weather to see that bridge again!

Hope you are having a nice day Sandee!

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:21 pm

The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. I hope you have great weather, since September is their Indian Summer. πŸ™‚

  17. April 6, 2016 at 1:42 pm

I love San Francisco! We took the girls there a few years ago and it was so fun!

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:21 pm

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:22 pm

You'd enjoy the city. The food is very good too. πŸ™‚

  19. April 6, 2016 at 3:18 pm

The bridge has aged very well. Still no other like it.

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:22 pm

They work on the bridge all year long. I agree that there is no other golden gate. πŸ™‚

  20. April 6, 2016 at 3:37 pm

I spent a few weeks working for my company there (at One Sansome). Enjoyed that. Great city to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

    • April 6, 2016 at 3:50 pm

I wouldn't want to live there either. The traffic is horrible. It's a nice place to visit though. πŸ™‚

  21. April 6, 2016 at 4:09 pm

Absolutely Spectacular! I wish I had a reproduction of this photo. Great job, Sandee!

    Have a super terrific evening!

    • April 7, 2016 at 7:28 am

It's a view and then some. I've been on both sides of this bridge and it's nothing short of spectacular. πŸ™‚

  22. April 6, 2016 at 5:28 pm

It's a terrific sight! We were there when i was a young teen, and i remember being duly impressed.

    • April 7, 2016 at 7:28 am

It's hard not to be awe struck when viewing this beauty. πŸ™‚

    • April 7, 2016 at 7:28 am

      Thank you my friend. πŸ™‚

  24. April 6, 2016 at 5:54 pm

This beautiful photo reminds me that we have been over this bridge many times, but never UNDER it. Bugger.

    Big hugs, honey…

    • April 7, 2016 at 7:29 am

Under it is a wonderful treat too honey. You'd love it I'm sure and especially if you were on a cruise ship. πŸ™‚

  25. April 7, 2016 at 12:15 am

Hey Sandee, I'm so sorry, but Kathe of "It's A Snap' pointed out to me that the link I had posted for my (WW)yesterday was from a WW in March. I reverted the old post back to draft and added the new link under, "Ann,'instead of ANPITS. I hope that helped and I'm again, I'm sorry for my mistake.

    "Big hugs" to you-

    • April 7, 2016 at 7:29 am

I fixed it so not to worry. It's all good honey. πŸ™‚

  26. April 7, 2016 at 4:26 am

    • April 7, 2016 at 7:30 am
