Finding a Woman

Fred is 32 years old and he is still single. One day a friend asked, “Why aren’t you married? Can’t you find a woman who will be a good wife?”

Fred replied, “Actually, I’ve found many women I wanted to marry, but when I bring them home to meet my parents, my mother doesn’t like them.”

His friend thinks for a moment and says, “I’ve got the perfect solution, just find a blonde who’s just like your mother.”

A few months later they meet again and his friend says, “Did you find the perfect blonde? Did your mother like her?”

With a frown on his face, Fred answers, “Yes, I found the perfect blonde. She was just like my mother. You were right, my mother liked her very much.”

The friend said, “Then what’s the problem?”

Fred replied, “My father doesn’t like her.”

That poor guy can't win for losing. Too funny. Sandee, you and Zane have a terrific Tuesday.

He should be living on his own at 32. Just saying. πŸ™‚

Maybe his problem was he should look for a cute guy. That way both his mother & father would be happy about his choice. You never know the way things are today.

Have a beautiful Tuesday Sandee & Zane. See ya my friends.

The real question is "Did the dog like her?".

    • March 29, 2016 at 11:11 am

You have a point. Far more important. πŸ™‚

In real life we'd tell that guy to quit being a mamma's boy seeking approval. But this is better for a good belly laugh. Thanks.

Yes, he's too old to be dictated to by his mother or father. πŸ™‚

Oh my. I dated a guy in high school who reminded my mom of my dad…they were divorced, though. She was worried I'd end up married to him. Luckily, that didn't happen!

    • March 29, 2016 at 11:12 am

That would have been frightful I'm afraid. πŸ™‚

He appears to be a perfect match for a blonde!
    Have a great day!

I don't think he'll ever win his parents' approval. πŸ™‚

    Big hugs, honey…

Hope he can't win. He needs to pack up and move out and live his life on his terms. πŸ™‚

That is too funny and sadly, has probably happened. πŸ™‚

    • March 29, 2016 at 11:13 am

I'm thinking this has happened more than we want to know. πŸ™‚

Oh my goodness, this is why you, and only you, should pick your partner in life.

      That would be correct. πŸ™‚

This one made me laugh because my ex's name was Fred and his mother didn't like me. She did however like a girl he dated before me. She used to talk about her quite a bit…lol

    • March 29, 2016 at 4:31 pm

Bless her heart. That wasn't very nice to you. Not at all. πŸ™‚

  16. March 29, 2016 at 4:41 pm

Heeheehee! Marry for yourself, not your parents! When the grandchildren come, they get over it.

    • March 30, 2016 at 3:48 pm

I agree with you, but there are some kids that can't make any decisions. πŸ™‚

  17. March 29, 2016 at 7:09 pm

Marry her anyway πŸ™‚ or run away. hehe!! It is sometime hard to get parents approval.

    • March 30, 2016 at 3:48 pm

Yes it is and sometimes it's impossible. πŸ™‚

  18. March 30, 2016 at 5:52 pm

    • March 31, 2016 at 7:12 am

Apparently these parents are very tough to please. πŸ™‚
