Thankful Thursday

I’m thankful that I’m going to get to meet three kitties and their peeps this coming June. First will be Angel and Isabella in Oregon and then the following week it will be Miss Lucy and her peeps. I’m really looking forward to a lot of kitty love. Both of their addresses are entered in our GPS, so all we have to do is follow the directions.

I’m thankful that we’re getting our boat back this week after it’s been gone since December 7th. We weren’t in a hurry, but we sure have missed spending the weekends on her. It will be good to get back in the habit of going often. We so love our boating life.

I’m thankful for the nice weather we’ve had this week. Lots of sunshine after a lot of needed rain. I’m one of those people that need sunshine on a regular basis. I’ve recharged my batteries this week.

I’m thankful that we are on the back side of winter. Pretty soon it will be warming up and I’m longing for flip flops, shorts and t-shirts. Life is good.

I’m thankful for each and every one that visits here. I’m also thankful for your comments.

I’m thankful that I’ll be able to show you our remodeled boat next week. It’s so different than it was.

What are you thankful for today?

Sounds like a great trip planned for June!
Yay to getting the boat back! Can't wait to see it.
The days are getting longer, but I'm still cold. We have had a mild winter snow-wise, so I'm still waiting for the big one to hit. It always does eventually.
    Have a great day!

    • January 28, 2016 at 10:53 am

We don't have much of a winter here. I'm happy about that. πŸ™‚

  11. January 28, 2016 at 6:05 am

When I come here on Thursdays it always reminds me to be thankful for what I got. We share one thing today— I am thankful that winter is only another month long.

    • January 28, 2016 at 10:53 am

I'm not a fan of winter. I could live in the tropics and be just fine. πŸ™‚

  12. January 28, 2016 at 6:39 am

We are always thankful for the wonderful country we live in.
It may not be perfect- but it's the best as far as I am concerned! Cheers and big hugs!

Over Christmas, we got some bad medical news about my-father-in-law and my daughter's boyfriend's father and it made us thankful for the good medical care that they're receiving.

I'm glad you are getting your boat back soon. It must be so hard to have a boat that you can't use. Hope time flies until it returns to your boat slip.

    • January 28, 2016 at 10:56 am

I'm glad they both had great medical care. That's so important.

Tomorrow morning we'll have our boat back. It isn't completely done, but only one thing will remain to do and that should be taken care of by the end of next week. πŸ™‚

    • January 28, 2016 at 1:43 pm

Not a starship, but a ship nonetheless… second star on the right and straight on til morning πŸ˜‰

  17. January 28, 2016 at 12:08 pm

We're thankful we get to meet you too! πŸ™‚ After a morning of rain we're enjoying our sunpuddles now so yay for that too!

    Angel & Isabella

    • January 28, 2016 at 12:20 pm

I see your mom is making beady goodies so you had to work for a bit. It's all good because some mommy can't do much without the two of you. πŸ™‚

  19. January 28, 2016 at 2:49 pm

Oh, I'm so happy to hear about your boat and your upcoming trip. I'm thankful for so much I cannot list it all here, but I'll try. I'm grateful for my family and the fact that they're all healthy. I'm grateful for my own health and the fact that my kitty, Simon is still going strong. And like you, great weather; for all of the sun shiny days, blue skies, sparkling night stars, and friendship. You said it best, "Life is good."

    Have a gorgeous evening, Sandee.

We have the SUV packed and our bags are packed. Just through a couple of last minute items in and we're done and gone. I can't wait to get our boat back in the slip. Big hugs. β™₯β™₯β™₯

I know you miss your boat. Have fun on your excursions. Please keep telling me it's going to be sunny and warm soon. I need something to look forward to! Lol

    • January 29, 2016 at 8:54 am

We're heading out soon to pick her up and pay the tab. She's beautiful. It's cloudy here today and it's going to rain. I hope you can get some of that beautiful sunshine we enjoyed for the past few days. πŸ™‚

  21. January 29, 2016 at 2:31 pm

I'm sure getting your boat back will be great. We've had a very mild winter here, but February could still end up being very cold, as it often is. I guess we'll see.

    • January 30, 2016 at 10:35 am

It's been mild here too with lots of rain. Very wet winter and we needed it. It's good to have our baby back. πŸ™‚

  22. January 29, 2016 at 11:02 pm

So happy for you that you got to see your boat today (as I am writing this comment on the 29th) and that you will soon return to sailing. I must learn more about these famous kitties: Angel and Isabella. They sound lovely and like they might be lovely tea party hosts …. or sun puddle hosts (hostesses). Just sayin'. Hugs!

    • January 30, 2016 at 10:36 am

I visit so many cat and dog blogs and you just fall in love with many of their precious babies. πŸ™‚
