Men vs. Women

A wife was curious when she found an old negative in a drawer and had it made into a print. She was pleasantly surprised to see that they were of her at a much younger, slimmer time, taken many years ago on one of her first dates with her husband.

When she showed him the photo, his face lit up.

“Wow, look at that!”, he said with appreciation, “That’s my old Ford!”

Men and women see things so differently!

Hi Sandee, it is so very true that men and women see things so differently! When men & women come together, they will get a complete picture! Lol!

Well, most of us women don't notice the car. We're busy looking at how thin we were. πŸ™‚

  4. January 26, 2016 at 3:57 am

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:25 am

And it's all good Steve. πŸ™‚

  8. January 26, 2016 at 7:04 am

People joke about these things and they can be quite funny theoretically. My husband isn't like that which might explain why we've been married for 33 years.

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:26 am

My husband isn't like that either. I'm happy about it too. πŸ™‚

  9. January 26, 2016 at 7:12 am

That's what my husband would have noticed first in that photo! LOL

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:27 am

I get it when it's a favorite car. Wouldn't bother me one bit. πŸ™‚

  10. January 26, 2016 at 7:35 am

my sweetie is very sentimental about his many many old cars-but I do have to say he's more sentimental about me! That said- this is really funny and made me laugh out loud! Cheers and hugs!

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:27 am

You and I both have good husbands. I like that. πŸ™‚

  11. January 26, 2016 at 7:55 am

It looks like a 1951 vintage Ford.

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:27 am

Vintage is right. I was born in 1951. πŸ™‚

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:58 am

I meant it as the original meaning of vintage which doesn't imply a lot of age, just the year it was born.

    • January 26, 2016 at 11:01 am

I took no offense. I'm vintage and I'm okay with that. I'm like fine wine. πŸ™‚

    • January 26, 2016 at 10:28 am

Well, they love their old cars. Bless their hearts. πŸ™‚

  14. January 26, 2016 at 9:58 am

well I think I would rather have him notice the car than the fact that I wasn't quite so slim any more. πŸ™‚

    • January 26, 2016 at 2:32 pm

Well, you have a point here Ann. Hadn't thought of it that way. πŸ™‚

    • January 27, 2016 at 7:31 am

  20. January 26, 2016 at 6:27 pm

    • January 27, 2016 at 7:32 am

I thought it was funny too. πŸ™‚

  22. January 27, 2016 at 6:46 am

Big hugs from wet WPB, honey…

  23. January 27, 2016 at 2:59 pm

I like the Ford. Of course I don't know the kids but I do know the car. I sold my black '50 Ford like this one last August when we moved to Katy, Texas.
