Maybe if I learned how to ski I would like snow more. It sure is a pretty scene.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:03 am

No I don't think you'd like snow more. Just a guess here. πŸ™‚

  2. January 6, 2016 at 3:44 am

No snow for me, puh-lease!! Or skiing of any kind, tyvm.

Have a wonderful day, Sandee! big hugs xoxo

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:04 am

I'm with you on this one Barb. You and I are more the tropics kind of gals. πŸ™‚

  3. January 6, 2016 at 3:52 am

That is one gorgeous picture. But I just as soon not have snow and especially not ice But it sure looks pretty. Sandee, you and Zane have a great day.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:04 am

I hear you Marg. Dangerous to walk or drive on. πŸ™‚

  4. January 6, 2016 at 4:15 am

Nice picture. I used to ski when I was younger and loved it. Maybe something I should take up again one of these days.

    Have a great day!

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:05 am

Well, Florida isn't to big on snow is it? I didn't think so. πŸ™‚

  5. January 6, 2016 at 4:15 am

Even if we have snow here, I do not think I have the courage to learn skiing.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:05 am

I know I wouldn't ski at my age. I'd hurt myself or worse. πŸ™‚

  6. January 6, 2016 at 6:30 am

I was in Tahoe once when it snowed. Not so unusual, you say. It was the first of August.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:05 am

You can never tell about the weather in the mountains. It does what it does whenever it wants. πŸ™‚

  7. January 6, 2016 at 6:39 am

Beautiful as a vacation spot for a change of pace, but having to go out and work in the snow doesn't make me happy.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:06 am

I hear you. I would hate to dig out my vehicle to come home after work. πŸ™‚

  8. January 6, 2016 at 6:49 am

I used to ski years ago. I always wanted to go to Lake Tahoe. Thanks for the memories.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:07 am

Lake Tahoe is breathtakingly beautiful. πŸ™‚

  9. January 6, 2016 at 7:16 am

This is gorgeous and idyllic! πŸ™‚

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:07 am

It's a wonderful place to visit. Going around or across the lake is most fun. πŸ™‚

  10. January 6, 2016 at 7:18 am

Skiing is what first messed up my knee. I don't miss skiing any more nor the cold weather. I enjoy the view.

    Big hugs, honey…

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:08 am

I know. You, me, Barb and Empress Bee need warm weather and flip flops. πŸ™‚

  11. January 6, 2016 at 8:36 am

I have never been to Tahoe, but my brother goes every year. Maybe someday soon!

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:08 am

You would love it. I've been around the lake and on the lake many, many times. Grand fun. πŸ™‚

  12. January 6, 2016 at 8:43 am

    We love the photo πŸ™‚

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:09 am

Thank you so much. You have a woof woof day. My best to your wonderful mom. πŸ™‚

  13. January 6, 2016 at 9:33 am

Wow. No, i don't ski, i almost killed myself trying, but i might be willing to climb to see that in person.

    • January 6, 2016 at 10:10 am

I would probably kill myself if I tried. I used to be very athletic, but I'm old now. I'll do the climb with you though. πŸ™‚

  14. January 6, 2016 at 10:18 am

I like snows cenes but that's all. Snow means it's too cold. I forgot to do a WW post this week on my photo blog as I was busy drawing a new cartoon for my new comic.

    • January 6, 2016 at 11:05 am

I'm with you Tony. I'm not much for cold weather either. I like it warm year around. πŸ™‚

  15. January 6, 2016 at 11:17 am

Beautiful! It has been many years since I've been to Tahoe. Never could pick up skiing. For some reason my brain would not let me turn the skiis to the left.

    • January 6, 2016 at 11:32 am

I never tried. I went ice skating once and it was awful. That was on flat, not downhill. I would have probably killed myself on skis. πŸ™‚

  16. January 6, 2016 at 11:23 am

It looks beautiful there although I ain't getting on any ski's LOL

Have a slalomtastic day Sandee :-h

    • January 6, 2016 at 11:33 am

  17. January 6, 2016 at 12:01 pm

I remember those skiing days! Now I have graduated to snowshoes! Warm bear hugs all round!

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:11 pm

Yep, I get that. I never was a snow person though. When it's cold I think of going someplace warm. πŸ™‚

  18. January 6, 2016 at 12:12 pm

Ooh. Breathtaking. I wish I could downhill ski and take in that beauty. Perhaps I will start snowshoeing.

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:12 pm

It is a heavenly view for sure. I wonder if that's where it got its name. πŸ™‚

  19. January 6, 2016 at 12:17 pm

Sandee- I'd delete #44- tried emailing you- it's nasty porn

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:15 pm

That's not what I'm seeing, but I'll delete it anyway. πŸ™‚

  20. January 6, 2016 at 1:12 pm

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:16 pm

I know it is Odie. I've been up in your neck of the woods in the winter. Beautiful. πŸ™‚

  21. January 6, 2016 at 1:33 pm

Tahoe is such a pretty place! I've only been in the summer since I'm not a snow bunny by any means. πŸ™‚

Hope you have a wonderful day!

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:18 pm

It's beautiful when it snows there as well. A winter wonderland. πŸ™‚

    Have an amazing Wednesday!
    Lots of hugs to you,

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:20 pm

It is a beautiful place. Hubby and I used to visit often until we got Little Bit and then we quit going because we couldn't take her. Keith would love this place. πŸ™‚

  27. January 6, 2016 at 4:06 pm

I used to live in Utah, the Greatest Snow On Earth!! And I miss it no matter how cold it is this year!

Wishing you a Happy New Year!!

    • January 6, 2016 at 4:21 pm

I love Utah. Hubby and were talking the other day about visiting Utah again. We were there in the winter last time too. πŸ™‚

Very pretty picture find, Sandee. I don't like snow anymore, I left my snow shovels further north, Nebraska and New Hampshire. I would like it if I was still doing winter sports. I've siied New Hampshire, Colorado, and Iowa. Plus sledding. My childhood sled is in our garage now.
Are you in charge of WW now? It was keeping me too busy returning comments so I stopped a long time ago.

    • January 6, 2016 at 5:56 pm

I am not in charge of Wordless Wednesday. I just get all the links. You know how I love the links.

Sounds like you had a great time in the snow. πŸ™‚

      January 6, 2016 at 6:49 pm

I did, Sandee. I would like to ski again but it would have to be the bunny slopes so I don't fall or crash. My artificial knee would complain, maybe pull off. Same for bicycle riding. Besides I like to go fast.

    • January 7, 2016 at 7:35 am

So you were the daredevil. Awesome. πŸ™‚

  29. January 8, 2016 at 1:26 am

    What a beautiful scene.

    • January 8, 2016 at 7:51 am

It's a beautiful place as you well know. πŸ™‚
