And most of that dead skin came off my feets because I am waaaay overdue for a pedi. That ends today as I finally have an appointment! I am also having my hair grimmed and styled this morning. This now more than year-long grow out process is getting old. srsly.

Have yourself a funtabulous weelend, Sandee!! :))

I am NOT having my hair grimmed. Trimmed. not Grimmed. But that's a little bit funny because Al and I just began watching the TV series Grimm.

I'm letting my hair grow out a bit too. Don't know how long I'll let it get, but longer than it is now. That was one bad haircut you got. πŸ™‚

    • November 7, 2015 at 10:49 am

I figured you meant trimmed. Now if you can just find someone that knows the meaning of trim. πŸ™‚

Interesting facts, but I just can't seem myself replacing my morning cup of coffee with an apple πŸ™‚

    • November 7, 2015 at 10:49 am

Me either. I do love my morning coffee. πŸ™‚

And on that note about dust, from the observations of a person who cleans other people's houses, those who do not have any pets at all have much less dust. So it's not just dead skin from people, which doesn't seem to cause as much of a problem if you stay on top of it. It's the animal dander that makes a place really dusty!

    • November 7, 2015 at 10:50 am

I agree with you about of four legged friends. πŸ™‚

  4. November 7, 2015 at 4:54 am

We have a lot of Oak trees on our 10 acres- we got tons of acorns this year- but this is what I read when googling Oak trees:
β€’Fruit of the oak is called acorn. Production of acorns starts at the age of 20 to 50 years.
β€’After about 20 years, these trees start producing acorns. Some trees may even take up to 50 years to produce the first lot. Yearly production of acorns for a mature tree may touch around 2,200 acorns per year
β€’ Oak trees can live up to 200 years or more, and mature trees have the capacity of absorbing more than 50 gallons of water in one day.
and if you want even more info read on:

Cheers honey! Big hugs to you and Zane!

  10. November 7, 2015 at 7:43 am

Didn't realize that about the planet Venus—-wonder if that's viewed from the top or bottom?

    • November 7, 2015 at 10:54 am

      I haven't a clue Ron. πŸ™‚

  11. November 7, 2015 at 8:41 am

Hi Sandee! I think I rather have coffee in the morning and keep the apple for the afternoon. Have a wonderful Saturday!

    • November 7, 2015 at 10:54 am

There you go. I'm with you on this one Nancy. πŸ™‚

  12. November 7, 2015 at 10:52 am

Wow! My favorite is, "Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes or shark attacks. (So, watch your ass)"

Thanks for the information and the laughs.

    Have a great day Sandee!

    xoxo

    • November 7, 2015 at 10:55 am

Yep, that one made me chuckle too. You have a great day to sweetie. :))

  13. November 7, 2015 at 1:35 pm

I had no idea about every single one of these! I had no idea that it's even possible that a sound – like the duck's quack – doesn't echo! Thank you so much for sharing these. I just had to share them with my hubby right away πŸ˜‰
Have an amazing weekend! Lots of hugs to you!

    • November 8, 2015 at 10:12 am

Well it appears the acorn one isn't true. Hugs back. πŸ™‚

I always like your lists of 'amazing facts,' Sandee.
Our oak tree, a present to Mrs. Jim from the landscaper at our former home of 16 years started having acorns before five years, I am thinking after three. It was a pin oak that has green leaves year round. That would 47 years early.

    • November 8, 2015 at 10:13 am

Yep, it appears that the acorn one is not true at all. πŸ™‚

  15. November 7, 2015 at 2:04 pm

The dust in this house comes from bird feathers.

    • November 8, 2015 at 10:13 am

      I knew this already. πŸ™‚

  16. November 7, 2015 at 2:45 pm

My pet rock says oak trees aren't very bright…*bracing for a war here*

    • November 8, 2015 at 10:14 am

Seymour is usually right about everything too. πŸ™‚

  17. November 7, 2015 at 3:42 pm

Now those are some mighty interesting factoids, especially that donkey business. Ha.

Big hugs from soggy nawth jawjah, honey…

    • November 8, 2015 at 10:14 am

Yep, but it's so very true. πŸ™‚

  18. November 7, 2015 at 8:04 pm

I don't know about the other things, but our oak trees are all less than 20 years and have been making acorns by the bucket load for several years.

    • November 8, 2015 at 10:15 am

It's very clear that I was wrong about that tidbit. πŸ™‚

  19. November 8, 2015 at 6:39 pm

If you fall asleep while watching television do you get double credit?

    • November 9, 2015 at 10:29 am

Why not. Works for me. πŸ™‚

  20. November 8, 2015 at 9:07 pm

Clever share! I really like the various posts you do each day. I must stop by each day and will make a note to do so. I am very happy I met you, take care and enjoy your week and I will be back tomorrow to link up with Aw…Monday!

    • November 9, 2015 at 10:29 am

I'm happy I met you too Anne. You are a delight. πŸ™‚

  21. November 8, 2015 at 10:52 pm

Some intriguing facts Sandee. Although the information would've been handy a week earlier because I can't work out how to get the cow down from upstairs…

    • November 9, 2015 at 10:30 am

Bwahahahahahahaha. I wonder if that's really true. Someone must have done that very thing. πŸ™‚

  22. November 9, 2015 at 3:03 pm

I should start producing acorns any day now. . .

    • November 9, 2015 at 3:20 pm

I've been producing for quite some time. Years in fact. πŸ™‚

  23. November 9, 2015 at 5:03 pm

These are very interesting facts Sandee!

Now am thinking of having an apple instead of coffee just so I can lessen my sugar intake πŸ™‚ sometimes I put on much sugar and creamer on my coffee.

    • November 9, 2015 at 5:28 pm

I love my coffee though and I too put sugar and creamer. πŸ™‚

  24. November 10, 2015 at 10:48 pm

Interesting, but that American Airlines one seems a bit off to me.
