Missing Wife

A husband went to the sheriff’s department to report that his wife was missing.

Husband: My wife is missing. She went shopping yesterday and has not come home.
Sergeant: What is her height?
Husband: Gee, I’m not sure. A little over five-feet tall.
Sergeant: Weight?
Husband: Don’t know. Not slim, not really fat.
Sergeant: Color of eyes?
Husband: Never noticed.
Sergeant: Color of hair?
Husband: Changes a couple times a year. Maybe dark brown.
Sergeant: What was she wearing?
Husband: Could have been a skirt or shorts. I don’t remember exactly.
Sergeant: What kind of car did she go in?
Husband: She went in my truck.
Sergeant: What kind of truck was it?
Husband: Brand new 2015 Ford F150 King Ranch 4X4 with Eco-boost 5.0L V8 engine special ordered with manual transmission. It has a custom matching white cover for the bed. Custom leather seats and “Bubba” floor mats. Trailer package with gold hitch. DVD with navigation, 21-channel CB radio, six cup holders, and four power outlets. Added special alloy wheels and off-road Michelin’s. Wife put a small scratch on the drivers door. At this point the husband started choking up.
Sergeant: Don’t worry buddy. We’ll find your truck.

I'm thinking she left in his truck with the intent of never returning as she yelled, "you'll notice me now!"

    • September 1, 2015 at 7:47 am

Well, could be, but he's not remembering much about her. 🙂

Too funny. Typical, the truck is always more important. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have one fun day.

I think you have to wait over 24 hour for a missing person, but not a missing truck.

    • September 1, 2015 at 8:46 am

      That's probably true Joe. 🙂

  14. September 1, 2015 at 8:41 am

Yes, they can. Bless their hearts. 🙂

It's clear what happened. Lock the hubby up. Odds are he killed the wife and hid the body for putting a scratch on the truck.

    • September 1, 2015 at 9:28 am

Oh what a wicked mind you have this morning. Made me laugh out loud. 🙂

Could be, I just hope she doesn't put another scratch on that truck. 🙂

  22. September 1, 2015 at 5:47 pm

Damn a man's truck is his castle. Guess if you've got a good truck you don't need a split-tail!

    • September 2, 2015 at 7:21 am

Well, we know that truck is the only thing that's important to him. 🙂

  23. September 1, 2015 at 7:23 pm

Ouch for the wife…good thing she is in his truck! If I were in her shoes..I will not return the truck EVER! 😀

She may not Rocks, she may not. 🙂

  24. September 1, 2015 at 9:39 pm

Funny story! It may be true in some cases. Men are so knowledge in non living things rather than in things…

    • September 2, 2015 at 7:22 am

Very true for some men. Not all, but some. 🙂

  25. September 2, 2015 at 5:46 am

    Big hugs, honey…

    • September 3, 2015 at 7:39 am
