Life Cycle

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death. What’s that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way.

Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you’re too young, you get a gold watch and you go to work. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement.

You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities.

You become a little baby, you go back into the womb, spend your last nine months floating and you finish off as an orgasm.

  15. August 18, 2015 at 12:13 pm

Good one- there is actually a movie about this very thing! The Curious Case of Benjamin Button! Cool movie…based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald!

    • August 18, 2015 at 3:16 pm

I had no clue. Well, I guess we know what this joke is based on then. πŸ™‚

  16. August 18, 2015 at 12:24 pm

  20. August 18, 2015 at 6:54 pm

Now THAT is a good idea. I always did feel that youth was wasted on the young!

    • August 19, 2015 at 7:35 am

Sometimes if does feel like it's wasted on the youth. They sure don't seem to appreciate youth until they get far older. πŸ™‚

  21. August 18, 2015 at 7:32 pm

Wow! that is interesting theory πŸ™‚ but then.. we're all bound to get old sooner or later.
    Have a nice day Sandee!

    • August 19, 2015 at 7:36 am

This is true, but you know how goofy I can be. πŸ™‚

  22. August 18, 2015 at 8:29 pm

I am totally unable to explain this one to my pet rock. An "orgasm" to Seymour is what the Phantom of the Oprah plays…(yes, that's Seymour's world).

    • August 19, 2015 at 7:36 am

I know about Seymour's world. Remember he lived with me for several months. πŸ™‚

  23. August 19, 2015 at 3:45 pm

    • August 19, 2015 at 5:15 pm

It would be, but as a joke it's funny. πŸ™‚
