Wednesdays Question

It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.

Here’s this weeks question: Are you a healthy eater? Or do you go for the pizza, fried chicken with potatoes and gravy, or a greasy burger with tons of salty fries?

For the most part hubby and I are healthy eaters. When we fall off the wagon though it’s anything goes and we usually go for the really bad food. Not often, but now and then.

    I'm a healthy eater, but I also cheat sometimes. I didn't used to like candy much, I was more of a chips and dip person, but lately I crave sweets like they're going out of style.

    I mostly eat baked chicken & fish and veggies & fruits. I actually don't tolerate fried foods well and I am allergic to shell fish so I only splurge on fried once a year when I am in New England… And it is always for fried haddock and fried sea scallops with fried onion rings. Nobody does fried as well as New England and nobody does seafood as well as New England. YUM. And I have my flights bood for next month. Seafood here I come! 😀

    Having said that, my weakness has always been CARBS – any and all dense or crusty breads, cakes, cookies, doughnuts… See? I just gained a pound thinking about them. haha!

    And portion control. bugger.

    Because of health probs I try to eat as healthy as I can with a treat occasionally I agree with portion control if you can control portions you can almost eat most things.

    I'm off for a doughnut…..just jokin

    I am basically a healthy eater or at least I try. I do go off on the wrong path at times but life is too short to be good all the time. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have a fantastic day.

    Now, I am a healthy eater. Down 17lbs since April 21st. I do still enjoy some of what you mentioned, but only in moderation. If I don't, I feel awful later. Just not worth it.

    I use to eat all that crazy food that would mess my system up but no more. Once I stated loosing my weight I now eat fish & chicken. I will have a steak once in awhile and I enjoy food when I go on my cruise but I'm now learning how teach myself the realities about food.After loosing 55 pounds I plan to never get back to 235 lbs. Yuk.

    We are healthy eaters, "most of the time", we do have our times when we fall off and it will usually be domino s pizza or our favorite Greek restaurant. For me, baked stuff is my downfall.

    We eat healthy most of the time but we don't rule out pizza or some other 'bad' food from time to time. A lot of the time we make pizza here at home so it's even somewhat healthy! Life's too short to not enjoy a treat every so often!

    Like the song goes, "I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n roll". I am eating much healthier these days than I did even last year. With that said, a great burger or pizza is never going to disappear from my menu. Nothing will ever replace country southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and white gravy…nothing!

    we are pretty healthy eaters….everything in moderation- we do find we eat less meat than when we were younger. When we eat out it's still pretty healthy- I cannot remember the last time we ate at a fast food joint. That food tastes gross to us.

      We noticed we are eating less and less meat too. Must be an age thing. We do love fast food now and then, but not very often. You two are both trim too, so not having fast food shows. Bravo. 🙂

    I'm basically a healthy eater (lean meat, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, veggies), since I re-joined Weight Watchers last August. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE pizza, fries, burgers, etc., I either avoid them now or make lower fat versions. Have a great day! xoxo
