      Yes indeed Jean. πŸ™‚

  3. May 19, 2015 at 3:27 am

I did know that about sneezing. It's why I hate to sneeze and drive πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ Have a great day!

    • May 19, 2015 at 10:58 am

I agree, it's almost impossible to drive while having a sneezing fit. πŸ™‚

  4. May 19, 2015 at 4:03 am

I did not know a single one of these. But now the image of crocodiles trying to taunt each other by trying to stick their tongues out is making me laugh. (One of my kids has an attached tongue and can't stick his tongue out either, and the other kids will sometimes mess with him, sticking their tongues out at him. (So there is a reason this image is in my head.)) πŸ™‚

    Have a lovely day!

Those are some mighty interesting facts about life. I am going to have to try sneezing with my eyes open. Cats do have many different sounds.

  7. May 19, 2015 at 5:21 am

That fact about sneezing i have used to my advantage. There have been times when i really needed not to sneeze, and prying my eye open and keeping it that way suppressed the sneeze. It's not pleasant, but it works.

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:00 am

As long as it works. I have fits of sneezing at times. The first couple aren't bad, but when you get to 10 and above that's enough. πŸ™‚

  12. May 19, 2015 at 7:30 am

Whoever compiled this list obviously has never driven from Anderson to Redding on highway 273 in the past couple of years.
One could spend six month just at the intersection of Bonnyview Road.

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:02 am

I've never taken that route either. That's some long, long light. πŸ™‚

  13. May 19, 2015 at 7:48 am

It seems like I've spent more than 6 months waiting for traffic lights to turn green. They see me coming and turn red just before I get there.

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:03 am

You too? I thought that just happen to me. πŸ™‚

    • May 19, 2015 at 12:06 pm

It was sooooo bad that I moved to a place with no traffic lights.

    • May 19, 2015 at 1:17 pm

We don't have any traffic lights where I live either. πŸ™‚

I knew two of these. I knew about the "jiffy". I used the jiffy clock on a Commodore 64 to generate random numbers for games. Also peaches and almonds I knew about. Hersey would buy my uncles peach pits each year to put into their chocolate with almond bars. some of those almonds would be peach pits. Couldn't tell the difference could you.

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:04 am

      No, I couldn't tell the difference. πŸ™‚

  17. May 19, 2015 at 9:21 am

I knew about peaches. A few of those are fun. I thought jiffy was peanut butter. Lol!

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:04 am

Jiffy is peanut butter too. πŸ™‚

Megan excited taught me about th e butterfly tasting with their feet. They had a special presenter at her preschool a few weeks ago. She's a wealth of knowledge about them now. πŸ™‚

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:04 am

      She's a smart one that Megan. πŸ™‚

  19. May 19, 2015 at 10:04 am

It's funny that I would read about the goldfish today. I saw a story on Morning Express on Headline News this morning which read that recent studies show goldfish have an attention span of 9 seconds and humans one of 8 seconds. This is true. They asked the goldfish πŸ˜‰

The rest of the fun facts were fabulous fun.

    • May 19, 2015 at 11:05 am

Bwahahahahahaha. You crack me up. πŸ™‚

  20. May 19, 2015 at 12:26 pm

If I was a butterfly I'd be extra careful not to step in dog doody

    • May 19, 2015 at 1:13 pm

Good plan Tony. A really good plan. πŸ™‚

  21. May 19, 2015 at 12:35 pm

Dear Sandee, These are remarkable facts and interesting too.
Have a great day my dear. xo Catherine

  22. May 19, 2015 at 12:49 pm

Fun facts!! I think the goldfish one was debunked, tho…. The goldfish in our tank remember what the food cup looks like and get excited if they see it near the tank.

    • May 19, 2015 at 1:13 pm

Yes, but for how many seconds? πŸ™‚

  23. May 19, 2015 at 1:27 pm

Sounds like the Ostrich and our politicians have a lot in common!

    • May 19, 2015 at 4:53 pm

Yep, they do don't they. πŸ™

  24. May 19, 2015 at 1:28 pm

I didn't know any of this! And I probably won't remember any of it an hour from now. I can't seem to retain stuff like this anymore!

    • May 19, 2015 at 4:53 pm

And you shouldn't clog your mind up with stuff that really doesn't matter. πŸ™‚

  25. May 19, 2015 at 1:31 pm

"A cat has 32 muscles in each ear."? All I can say is, I’m grateful I’m not a dragonfly, and now I know I’m a goldfish. πŸ˜‰ This is a fun post!

    I hope you're having a super terrific day! :)))

    • May 19, 2015 at 4:54 pm

Thanks honey. You have a super terrific day too. πŸ™‚

  26. May 19, 2015 at 1:45 pm

I see I have something in common with a goldfish πŸ™‚

    • May 19, 2015 at 4:54 pm

Me too Ann, me too. πŸ™‚

  27. May 19, 2015 at 2:09 pm

If a dragonfly has only 24 hours, wonder why they always waste time flying around me? They give me the eebie jeebies when they do that! I prefer them still!

Hope you're having a great day Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!

    • May 19, 2015 at 4:55 pm

They are rather scary aren't they, but not as bad and a wasp or bumble bee. I don't like them flying around me either. πŸ™‚

  28. May 20, 2015 at 5:38 pm

If a shark is the only fish that can blink with both eyes, does that mean some fish can blink with only one eye?

    • May 21, 2015 at 9:22 am

      I don't have a clue Binky. πŸ™‚

  29. May 23, 2015 at 12:17 am

The only one of these that I knew was the sneeze. That's why it's dangerous to sneeze whilst driving.

    • May 23, 2015 at 7:33 am

It really works too. I tried it the other night and held off a sneezing jag. πŸ™‚

  30. May 24, 2015 at 1:13 pm

I remember quite a few of these. not about the crocodile & glad I don't taste with my feet! :))
    Happy Memorial Day, dear friend!
