Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

I can see your point, but I still think you’re full of sh*t .
I don’t know what your problem is, but I’ll bet it’s hard to pronounce.
How about never? Is never good for you?
I see you’ve set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public.
I’m really easy to get along with once you people learn to see it my way.
I’ll try being nicer if you’ll try being smarter.
I’m out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message.
I don’t work here. I’m a consultant.
It sounds like English, but I can’t understand a damn word you’re saying.
Ahhh…I see the screw-up fairy has visited us again…
I like you. You remind me of myself when I was young and stupid.
You are validating my inherent mistrust of strangers.
I have plenty of talent and vision; I just don’t give a damn.
I’m already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth.
I will always cherish the initial misconceptions I had about you.
Thank you. We’re all refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view.

These are perfect and as I head off to work this morning I will be smiling thinking about saying all of them to one person or another. There are several that are pretty close to things that have been going through my head more than once lol

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:42 am

Usually you're find someone in the workplace that one or more of these apply. πŸ™‚

  3. May 3, 2015 at 2:25 am

I use to pretend I didn't hear them. That usually worked. If they kept at me I'd say "I'm sorry. Were you talking to me? Oh, I've got to get back to work."

Of course, it helped that I had an office door to close. y-)

Have a suntabulous day, Sandee! big hugs xoxo

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:43 am

I've used that one too. Really makes them work harder doesn't it. πŸ™‚

  4. May 3, 2015 at 4:01 am

I agree, I wish I could say several of those to a few people πŸ™‚

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:43 am

It would be most wonderful wouldn't it. πŸ™‚

  5. May 3, 2015 at 5:12 am

Well since I don't go to work, guess I can't say any of those things but I sure can understand how it would be fun at times. Sandee, you have a super Sunday and Wishing Zane and Little Bit have a great day too.

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:44 am

I don't work anymore, but I volunteer. I could say many of these very things. πŸ™‚

  6. May 3, 2015 at 5:26 am

These are priceless! Must show them to hubby.

Have a fab day. Off to the spa with my girls. Big hugs, honey…

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:44 am

He's probably said a few of them too. He's not afraid to express himself one bit. πŸ™‚

Yes indeed Paul. It's a bunch of wonderful things to say to certain people.

I'm glad you saw your avatar on stevebethere's site. πŸ™‚

  10. May 3, 2015 at 6:52 am

One thing's for sure… work is going to be a lot more fun now that I'm armed with these. πŸ˜€ Thank you Sandee! You just made my day. Hope yours is fabulous as well. πŸ™‚

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:47 am

You can apply these to the right people and then smile. Works very well. πŸ™‚

  11. May 3, 2015 at 7:08 am

I think I could use #14 in many of my life situations! Also, I am pretty sure that the character Michael from the TV show the Office has used or thought of using most of these at least once. So we should just go ahead and use them, since he cleared the way and all:)

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:48 am

I think that's a great idea Jen. Go for it. πŸ™‚

  12. May 3, 2015 at 7:18 am

lol I'm sure my husband has thought some of these about me, buahahahahaha

Have a great rest of the weekend!

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:48 am

Well there is that. I'm sure he wouldn't say any of then out loud though. πŸ™‚

  13. May 3, 2015 at 7:24 am

Only the person who owns the company can get away with saying stuff like that.

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:49 am

And probably they can't anymore either. πŸ™‚

  14. May 3, 2015 at 7:50 am

    17. I'm not ignoring you, I'm avoiding you. I'll get around to ignoring you later.

    • May 3, 2015 at 9:49 am

      That's a great addition Tim. πŸ™‚

  15. May 3, 2015 at 10:58 am

Those are great Sandee—sure you understand the meaning of what I comprehend!

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:50 am

      I think I do Ron. πŸ™‚

  16. May 3, 2015 at 11:01 am

oh boy! These are good! Especially like #10!

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:51 am

I've actually said a few of these. πŸ™‚

  17. May 3, 2015 at 5:22 pm

Heeheehee! Sweetie used to have these posted, they are still funny!

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:52 am

They are most helpful when you're still working. I so remember. πŸ™‚

  18. May 3, 2015 at 11:08 pm

Some good ones but I especially like "I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth."

    • May 3, 2015 at 11:08 pm

I must try & use this at work sometime

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:52 am

I've visualize that many times. πŸ™‚

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:52 am

Let me know how it worked Tony. πŸ™‚

  19. May 4, 2015 at 12:29 am

These are good! How I wish we can all say them out loud πŸ™‚

May you have a wonderful week ahead Sandee!!

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:53 am

We all have wished this Rocks. Now you can just think of one when it applies. πŸ™‚

  20. May 4, 2015 at 5:45 am

These are too good. I have often had to duct tape my own mouth to not use them when I worked around groups of people. One of the perks of being self employed is that I can vent all I want in my own office.

    • May 4, 2015 at 9:54 am

Being able to vent when needed is most delightful. πŸ™‚

  21. May 4, 2015 at 3:41 pm

6 and 9 are especially good.

    • May 4, 2015 at 3:51 pm

Those are a couple of good ones indeed. πŸ™‚

  22. May 4, 2015 at 5:05 pm

I have been known to say a few of those

    • May 5, 2015 at 7:32 am

Me too Bearman, me too. πŸ™‚

  23. May 5, 2015 at 1:21 pm

This list made me so glad I work from home.

    • May 5, 2015 at 1:25 pm

Yep, it made me laugh out loud too. πŸ™‚
