Wednesdays Question

It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.

So here’s this weeks question: What is one of the things you want to do when the weather warms up?

More boating. There is nothing worse than boat cold. You’ve not lived until the electricity goes out and you’re on your boat in the dead of winter. I want to go on a cruise wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip flops and be warm.

I'm talking about shoes here Steve. Not what you're talking about. πŸ™‚

I don't have anything in particular I'm looking forward to doing although like Steve going out without a coat (and all the extra layers) sure would be nice

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:55 am

I can relate to that. It's spring weather here right now. The blossoms are out on the almond trees. πŸ™‚

When your weather warms us, ours cools down, so I will be thinking about travel to the Northern Hemisphere.

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:56 am

I don't blame you. I hate the cold weather and we don't get much here. πŸ™‚

  4. February 18, 2015 at 3:17 am

Cruise!! We don't have anything like what my sisters are getting in the Boston area, but it is freezing here and I don't like it. We have a hard freezw watch again. Hoping the pipes don't freeze again. Ack. Hate it.

    Big hugs xoxo

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:56 am

Yes, you have your kind of cruise and I have mine. Cruise nonetheless. πŸ™‚

  5. February 18, 2015 at 3:36 am

Not freezing. That's all I look forward to. πŸ™‚

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:56 am

We have a couple of months here that's pretty cold, but nothing like your weather. πŸ™‚

  6. February 18, 2015 at 5:14 am

Gardening! Spring can't get here fast enough for me.

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:57 am

Lots of people love to garden. I'm not one of them, but lots of folks like to garden. πŸ™‚

When it really gets warm and the sun is bright in the sky I want to ride in my Cameo, bumble bee but that won't happen until all that darn snow is gone. My Cameo has never felt snow and won't feel it now.
Have a great Wednesday Sandee. See ya.

I figured you're talk about the bumble bee. In fact I was pretty sure of it. πŸ™‚

  8. February 18, 2015 at 5:27 am

Photography, but you probably could have guessed that.

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:58 am

No surprise at all and I'll be enjoying whatever you post too. πŸ™‚

  9. February 18, 2015 at 5:36 am

Ah..a cruise. Can I join you? some place warm, that's all that matters πŸ™‚

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:58 am

Sure, you can join us anytime. πŸ™‚

  10. February 18, 2015 at 6:16 am

Going on day trips. I refuse to do them in my snowy climate November through March.

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:58 am

I hear you. When you have to shovel the vehicle out to go somewhere that would be all that fun. πŸ™‚

  11. February 18, 2015 at 7:17 am

We have not had any winter so I am doing mostly what I like all this year, working in the yard soaking up the sunshine

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:59 am

Nope, we've not had much of a winter indeed. πŸ™‚

  12. February 18, 2015 at 7:23 am

Start taking daily walks!! The sub zero temps in Michigan makes the idea of walking not something that I would like to do.

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:59 am

I'll be doing that soon too. I love a long walk when it's warm out. πŸ™‚

  13. February 18, 2015 at 9:08 am

    Golf and then the beach!
Boating if I could afford it. The second best part of sailing is after being out all day, dropping anchor and having a gin and tonic. The best part is having a second gin and tonic.

    • February 18, 2015 at 10:59 am

Yep, we do the same thing, but in a power boat. It's grand fun. πŸ™‚

  14. February 18, 2015 at 10:01 am

Hawaii. I want to go to Hawaii.

    • February 18, 2015 at 11:00 am

Hawaii is indeed a great destination. πŸ™‚

    • February 19, 2015 at 3:01 pm

      Have you been?

    • February 19, 2015 at 3:11 pm

Yes, twice. We flew over in the 80s for a 10 day stay (Maui and Kauai) and we went on cruise from San Diego to different ports and islands in Hawaii. Kauai is our favorite island. Then we cruise back from Hawaii to Mexico and then back to San Diego. It was a 16 day cruise from start to finish. πŸ™‚

Boats are great when it's reasonably warm. We've been on some Whale Watches when it has been bone-chillingly cold on Cape Cod.

As far as what I want to do when it warms up… lying out by our pool, basking in the Florida sun with a good book and a cold adult beverage at my side.

    • February 18, 2015 at 11:00 am

Yep, we call that boat cold and it's COLD! I love your idea of basking by the pool with a cold adult beverage. πŸ™‚

I live in Arizona and it is gorgeous right now so we try to spend as much time outdoors as we can!

    • February 18, 2015 at 11:36 am

We have some friends that live in Arizona in the winter and here during the summer. They live the good life year around. πŸ™‚

  17. February 18, 2015 at 11:37 am

Put my flip flops back on! My toesies wanna be exposed, not covered up in socks…even cute ones. And sit in our patio and sip wine. WYWH!

    Big hugs, honey…

    • February 18, 2015 at 11:40 am

I'm wearing flip flops today, but I've got to get may nails and toes done this afternoon. I just hate shoes and socks. Love the wine idea. We've shared a glass or two together. πŸ™‚

  18. February 18, 2015 at 1:15 pm

So many things! Just enjoy the sunshine. I'd like to hit the coast and see more of the coastline.

    • February 18, 2015 at 3:48 pm

Yep, that happens on a sunny day doesn't it. Rain and fog takes away from that view. πŸ™‚

  19. February 18, 2015 at 1:55 pm

Get out in the garden- maybe tomorrow! Need to turn over dirt and work in some compost and chicken manure! But your idea sounds like more fun and less work!!

    • February 18, 2015 at 3:49 pm

I always opt for the less work part. I'll admit I'm lazy. πŸ™‚

  20. February 18, 2015 at 2:24 pm

Dear Sandee, I want to take my dog for a walk. I feel so bad for him. He loves his walks and it has been soooo cold and icy here and not walking weather.
    xoxo Catherine

I hope it gets warm so your baby can go for a nice long walk and take you along too. πŸ™‚

  21. February 18, 2015 at 7:16 pm

    Thaw out!
And maybe go for a nature walk.

    • February 19, 2015 at 7:25 am

A nature walk sounds wonderful and when it's warm it's even better. πŸ™‚

I want to wear flip flops, shorts and a golf shirt and go boating. πŸ™‚
Come to think of it, we are. Flying too. To London, Nice (France), boat from London to Norway for a one week cruise over and up the Norway coast, and back. Could be more after but I doubt it. But we don't have coming home air booked yet. b-(

Sounds like a great trip in the mix. πŸ™‚

And the second thing would be enjoy my new deck!

    • February 19, 2015 at 7:28 am

  25. February 19, 2015 at 6:31 am

It's been nice here but the rains will return so when it's warmer and dry, I want to go hiking more! It's not the same without Sadie but I remember her every step of the way!

Happy almost Friday Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit!

    • February 19, 2015 at 7:28 am

I remember all those hikes with Sadie. It's great exercise too. πŸ™‚

  26. February 20, 2015 at 1:13 pm

I cannot wait to come home from work in the daylight and go for a walk in the sunshine. Or to go on a bike ride and leave the office behind πŸ™‚ Anything outside will do, I'm getting cabin fever now πŸ˜‰

    • February 20, 2015 at 1:28 pm

Most all of us are feeling about the same. Oh for some warm weather and a nice walk with my sweetie. πŸ™‚

  27. February 20, 2015 at 4:42 pm

Go on several epic hikes πŸ™‚

    • February 20, 2015 at 4:52 pm

I wonder who'll be tagging along. Let me think. πŸ™‚

I don’t want it to warm up. It’s perfect right now! It’s 84 degrees on April 1st with a light breeze. It changes so quickly. We’ll probably hit the 100s by the end of the month.
