Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

Maxine

Maxine on “Driver Safety” – “I can not use the cell phone in the car. I have to keep my hands free for making gestures.”

Maxine on “Lawn Care” — “The key to a nice looking lawn is a good mower. I recommend one who is muscular and shirtless.”

Maxine on “The Perfect Man” — “All I’m looking for is a guy who will do what I want, when I want, for as long as I want, and then go away. Or wait nearby, like a Dust Buster, charged up and ready when needed.”

Maxine on “Technology Revolution” — “My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice.”

Maxine on “Aging” — “Take every birthday with a grain of salt. This works much better if the salt accompanies a Margarita.”

Maxine is the everyday person who says what she wants to say like every person would like to say but can't. I just get a kick out of her. Have a wonderful Sunday Sandee. See ya.

You're right Paul, being politically correct is not in her genes. πŸ™‚

Maxine is very funny…unless you're married to her…been there done that.

    • February 15, 2015 at 9:22 am

Congratulation! What was your secret for surviving? A good helmet?

    • February 15, 2015 at 5:24 pm

You've a point there, but no one would marry her Joe. πŸ™‚

    • February 15, 2015 at 5:24 pm

  14. February 15, 2015 at 9:20 am

Rebooting – I've done that – at the Hockey Rink.

  15. February 15, 2015 at 10:28 am

Gotta ,ove Maxine. She tells it like it is.

    • February 15, 2015 at 5:25 pm

I like people like that. πŸ™‚

  16. February 15, 2015 at 2:21 pm

Ha ha ha! I got a gesture just last week… and I didn't do ANYTHING! There were two lanes of cars… I was leaving a shopping center and turned right. There were no cars in my lane. The car in the furthest lane didn't like me turning. I didn't go anywhere NEAR that car… I was already out before they passed. But yet I got flipped off. My daughter saw it and told me. How nice of that person, right?

    • February 15, 2015 at 5:25 pm

There are just nasty people out there that are so miserable that they want to drag you down. I'm not seeing they could do that to you. πŸ™‚

  17. February 15, 2015 at 2:49 pm

I stopped over at Steve's blog and OMG. The Iphone is going litterly wayout to jump in front of the competition. Whewwwww! Simply outstanding! I am blushing all over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. February 15, 2015 at 5:15 pm

I'm with Maxine on driver safety. Lots of hand gestures… Lol!

    • February 15, 2015 at 5:27 pm

There are so many rude drivers. Always in a hurry and our safety isn't a concern to them whatsoever. Bless their hearts. πŸ™‚

  20. February 15, 2015 at 5:26 pm

I bet Maxine hasn't found her man yet.

    • February 15, 2015 at 5:28 pm

You're right about that. He would have to be another Maxine, but the male version and I'm not thinking that would work out very well. πŸ™‚

  21. February 15, 2015 at 6:25 pm
