Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

A man walked in to a Topeka, Kansas Kwik Shop, and asked for all the money in the cash drawer. Apparently, the takings weren’t enough, so the man tied up the sales advisor and worked the counter himself – for three hours – until police showed up and grabbed him.

In Medford, Oregon, a 27-year-old jobless man with an MBA blamed his college degree for his murder of three people. “There are too many business grads out there,” he said. “If I had chosen another field, all this may not have happened.”

Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just could not control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words, “Give me all your money or I”ll shoot,” the man shouted, “That is not what I said!”

  12. February 1, 2015 at 5:22 pm

Heeheehee! And did you hear about the police officer in Vermont who said it was easier to track down burglars in winter? He just follows their tracks in the snow!

    • February 1, 2015 at 5:42 pm

There are so many stories about dumb criminals. There are smart criminals too, but mostly not. Thank goodness for that. 🙂

  13. February 1, 2015 at 6:31 pm

LOL on that last one. He didn't want to be misquoted!! 🙂

And on a completely different note, I wanted to tell you about the boy.. our new'ish' neighbor. You warned me…though I knew, to be careful. He was kicked out of school last week permanently for 'relations' on school property, and last week he got caught trying to break into a neighbor's home. The police officer who lives next door told my husband today when they were out shoveling snow. 🙁 The boy's out and about, so I guess he didn't get locked up in juvie (or if he did it wasn't for long). Not being able to go to school isn't going to help matters for him (or the neighborhood), I'm afraid.

    • February 2, 2015 at 7:58 am

Always be careful. Your gut will tell you a lot, but we have to listen. I'm sorry this isn't turning out well for him or the neighborhood. 🙂

    • February 2, 2015 at 9:33 pm

Ah well… I was hoping my gut was wrong. Thanks for the ear. 🙂

    • February 3, 2015 at 11:40 am

It rarely is ever wrong and you're smarter than the average person too. 🙂

  14. February 1, 2015 at 7:38 pm

Stupid criminals are a good thing.

    • February 2, 2015 at 7:59 am

Yes they are Binky. There are many smart ones too, just more stupid one. 🙂

  15. February 1, 2015 at 9:53 pm

The guy at the cashier's register probably got busted for not charging sales tax.

    • February 2, 2015 at 7:59 am

That could be, but can you imagine working the counter for money money 🙂

  16. February 2, 2015 at 1:17 pm

*sound of me slapping my head*

    • February 2, 2015 at 4:31 pm

I slap my head all the time. The world if filled to the brim with idiots. 🙂

  17. February 2, 2015 at 4:55 pm

  18. February 2, 2015 at 6:58 pm

Have a wonderful week ahead my dear!

    • February 3, 2015 at 11:36 am

This is so very true Rocks. Unfortunately. 🙂

  19. February 2, 2015 at 11:33 pm

The first two had me rolling my eyes, but that last one, I had to laugh. So funny. Criminals are so dumb.

    • February 3, 2015 at 11:37 am

Thank goodness so many criminals are so dumb. Makes them far easier to catch. 🙂

  20. February 3, 2015 at 10:14 am

The 1st one showed that he had initiative, a rare quality these days. The last one, well nobody likes to be misquoted. Good on him for having the courage to speak up

    • February 3, 2015 at 11:37 am

That first one was really wanting more money. The last one wasn't going to be misquoted. 🙂
