I think I got my first cell phone around 2002 or 3.
    Removing hate would be nice.
I wish I could say that nothing made me feel old. My brain says I’m still young but after working all day, the back and legs say “sister, you are old”…lol

  2. stevebethere says:

  4. angelswhisper2011 says:

Such sweet little cuties <3 Granny had her first cellphone in the new millennium 2000, it was so small that she had trouble to find it and she was afraid of loosing it too 😀 Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend to you and your hubby🐾😽💞

    • Sandee says:

They were pretty small weren’t they. I had several at the same time. Personal and two work ones. Way too many. Have a wonderful weekend too, Little Binky. Pawkisses back and my best to your granny. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I hear you about the hate. I’m so sick of all the political fighting and there are so many that are just plain angry all the time. 🙂

  5. 15andmeowing says:

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I love your answer for #2, that is a nice idea. Thanks for hosting. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

    • Sandee says:

Thank you for co-hosting the fill-ins. You know I’m a rule breaker. You have a wonderful weekend too, Ellen. 🙂

  6. Molly the AireGirl says:

The kitties are too cute! Mom doesn’t remember when she got her first cell phone but she still has the same one – a flippy that she carries in case of emergency. She’s not a cell phone kinda girl.

    • Sandee says:

My first one was a work phone. When I retired I got rid of all of them for years. I have a smart phone now, but it took years before I wanted a phone. 🙂

  7. Eastside Cats says:

I’ve made a big change in my life, when 45 was elected president. So many people were unhappy, scared, printing all kinds of things, and the world seemed so divided. I realized, that by being hateful toward the folks who voted differently from you, was exactly what was wrong with the whole process. So, I don’t hate. I scroll over negative comments on FB, let a car into my lane, and try to keep a smile on my face. Generosity and compassion, that’s the ticket!

  8. Marti says:

I think you must be so fun to be around, you are always so positive and I love your answers. I would have to change one of the fill-ins too. I actually can’t remember when I got my own cellphone, but as a family, we got our first in 1990. It was one of those big bag phones and we could only talk on it inside the car. I don’t remember if it didn’t have its own battery, but I don’t think so. I think all the bulk was the phone and it plugged into the cigarette lighter.

    • Sandee says:

I have a good time and that’s how I like it. I never had one of those bulky phones, but I remember them. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

I agree. So many are so angry and all of the time. Enjoy your retirement and your weekend. Scritches to Isabella, Angel and Lexi. 🙂

  9. Deziz World says:

Oh MeOW, mommy wants your secret. She says everythin’ makes her feel old. MOL It warms our heart to hear your feelings fur your hubby. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

    • Sandee says:

Thinking about hubby warms my heart too. I don’t think I have a secret. I’m just lucky I think the way I do about age. Luv ya’ back. 🙂

  10. Invisibly Me says:

Forever young with nothing to make you feel old, I love that! I also liked the adaptation to remove hate from the world, it’s a lovely notion 🙂
Happy Friday! I hope you have a lovely weekend, Sandee xx

  11. XmasDolly says:

🙁 I’m VERY sad!!! I tried signing in and it says I’m signed in already. Okay, maybe I forgot or maybe you did or…. I dunno. So I checked, and then I checked again one by one!!! Am I losing it??? YOUR PROGRAM DOESN’T LIKE ME! wahhhhhhhhhhhhh Oh well, CAN’T STOP ME FROM LEAVING A MESSAGE THOUGH hmmm how do you leave a face with sticking out my tongue!!! bwahahahaha HELLO MY SISTA from another mother!!! How are you this fine sunny morn… I mean early afternoon.? hehehe So we were going to have some strawberries & I guess it’s too early in the spring because every single one I cut open there was a brown spot on top… weird. Glad the have a dot com on the package I’m gonna tell them something for sure. How are you doin? Got plans for the weekend yet??? I sure wish we did. Oh well, too many medical bills to pay off yet no plans for the summer I think. Oh well, such is life. Have a great day. BIG HUGS & a smooch!!! luv ya lots!!! meeeeeee

  12. XmasDolly says:

awwwwwwwwww I didn’t see that can I play too huh??? Peassssssssssssssssssssssssssss! okay me play…
    1. Lord have mercy I don’t remember when I got my first cell phone… hell, I don’t remember when I got my first pager. hahahahaha oh yes I do I was working for a lawfirm and they gave me one so they could track me down in court. bwahahahahaha hmmmm cell phone I’m guessin’ going to say in the middle 90’s or late. I know pager was in 91/92 cuz that’s when I met the hubby & that’s all we had to connect.
    2. Okay, I agree with you honey hate is an ugly word, but I wish the four letter word could be removed. Everyone knows which one I mean… it’s gross & also the 3 letter word for boobs. It’s ugly too.
    3. I shall never outgrow my hubby & my babies. My hubby is fun most of the time & well, my babies are my babies & I don’t care how old they are & they know it.
    4. Oh my I don’t even want to think about this one… I guess I thought my grandchildren the thought of having one that is made me feel old, but then the next one came & the next etc. and they didn’t. They were actually fun, but now I have 3 great grandchildren OMG I’M OLD! 🙁 but my hubby makes me feel young so that’s good. He calls me baby and he treats me like I’m young so that’s a good thing. Shhhhhhhhhh I’m 7 yrs. older then my hubby. hahahahahaha RAISE HIM TO SUIT ME that’s what I say!! Have a great day mama!!!!! luv ya!!! xxxxxxxxx

  13. Kimberly A Edwards says:

Wow, the 90s. I know they were like bricks back then. I know a modular type of phone was installed in cars too. I always thought it would be reckless to have phones in cars. Look at the way things are today… cars and phones. shaking head! You can find my fill-ins here:
    https://kae1064.livejournal.com/47723.html

  14. Memories of Eric and Flynn says:

Those are cute kitties! I had my first cell phone in the 90s. A friend of ours had his in the late 80s and it came with it’s own briefcase!
We get home tomorrow after an “interesting” cruise. Luckily stormy weather doesn’t bother us and I slept like a log every night instead of my usual 2-3 hours sleep. I hope to be back to normal commenting from Sunday.
Thanks for adding me to the hop.

    • Sandee says:

I’m glad you had a good cruise. It’s good to go and it’s good to get back home. You’re most welcome for the add. If you’re on a cruise it’s hard to keep up. 🙂

  15. Pamela Jackson says:

Oh my….I read your answers and had to laugh at the first word that came to my mind as the one I wished was removed from the English language….I am not even sure I want to type it out. But I will go to my second word which is just as bad but if I put the first letter you will know.

I got my first cell phone in ____2006 – never wanted one but when I had a wreck and had to use someones I decided I needed one.
I wish the word ___F bomb word____ could be removed from the English language.
I’ll never outgrow ___The Wizard of Oz.
__My daily pain_ makes me feel old.

Great answers on your part. Hoping you have a great weekend.

    • Sandee says:

That would be a great word to eliminate. I’m with you. I didn’t even thing of that word. You have a great weekend too. 🙂

  16. DrillerAA says:

Those two kittens are looking like, “What are those crazy humans doing now?”

I got my first cell phone in the late 80’s. It was personal. I always liked my personal phone better than the one the office offered so I just declined and only carried one phone.
I wish the word “suck or sucks” as removed from the English language. “This sucks, that sucks, you suck, it all sounds horribly disrespectful.
I’ll never outgrow the love of the Creator. Just sayin’.
Watching a photographing high school athletes makes me feel old. It’s been over 50 years since I could move that fast.

  17. Nancy Chan says:

Cute little kitties! I can’t remember when but my first cell phone was passed down from my son. I thought I wouldn’t need a hand phone until I started using it. If possible, hate should be the first word to go. I never outgrow teasing my hubby, Lol! My heart is forever young but sometimes the stiff joints and aging body keep reminding me that I not as young as before.

  18. Marv says:

We did not post much this week. Having Dad around is time consuming. I don’t think I will get many posts out this coming week either. Mom will be driving him home next weekend.
LOVE your answers Mom agrees with #4, except when her knee is bothering her!
    PurrsMarv

    • Sandee says:

My hip bothers me, but I keep on keeping on. It’s all we can do. Don’t worry about posting or visiting much. Family is more important. Okay so are our four legged babies. Purrs back. 🙂

  19. meowmeowmans says:

I wonder what those little cuties are looking at? I love how you changed up your answer to number 2, Sandee. I wish for that, too. 🙂

    • Sandee says:

Some folks that photograph four legged babies know all the tricks in the book. I’m a rule breaker so I just changed the question to the one I wanted. 🙂

  20. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

Good FF responses. I think if people could remove hate from the heart then it would vanish from our language automatically. I admire you…nothing makes you feel old? WOW, I wish I could say the same thing but there are times that it hits me. Thankfully, it doesn’t stay around too long. 🙂

  21. L.M.G. Miller says:

These kitties are too cute to handle! And I’m yet again late to visit, but I want to thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #4 is a great reminder that age is just a number. No one should ever feel old. We’re all as young as we want to be.
